I'll start this with a little bit of a problem because when we arrived we were told under no uncertain terms that we hadn't got a booking. After a little bit of me looking for the evidence of our booking on the app and the gentleman looking in the system he did find us and we were given the room that he just finished painting. Room itself was lovely in that it's very high got massive windows at the front and a kitchenette however it did need some work doing to the wardrobes which we couldn't use and also the beds definitely needed replacing( we actually had to put a book under the wheel to stop it from collapsing). The accommodation has plenty of parking and a nice pool and it's conveniently located about a block from the sea and about half mile walk along the beach to restaurants and bars

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The area was very nice and the beach was very close by. The pool was clean. There were some amenities that were advertised that were not available, but I know they are currently going through a remodeling. Management was great and made our first trip to Deerfield Beach memorable. Thank you!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Has all the basics for a budget stay. One block from the beach, they keep some chairs and beach toys to take to the beach if you want. There is plenty of parking. One issue is that you will need to drive to most restaurants. It is less than half the price of the Embassy Suites across the street, good value.

Very nice place to hang for a weekend. Easy access to the beach and the hotel has umbrellas, chairs, toys whatever you need, or forgot to bring, for a day at the beach.

This is an interesting place. The staff is nice, but you have to call them to get them to the office during most hours. But they come quickly. The pool is nice and in great shape, but the place is under renovation and some things outside are pretty trashed. Our room was..interesting. Roomy with a full, well-stocked kitchen, but the couch was so torn up they had covered it with a little, ineffective cloth. Bed was quite decent. I think most rooms have been renovated, but ours was not yet. There was a water bottle on the counter and a bike lock in the kitchen drawer, so it seemed like someone has been living there long term. And maybe that is what this hotel is about? Our room faced the ocean with a little balcony. Only one chair but kind of nice. The curtains were metal blinds and had not been closed in years. They provided coffee, but the coffee maker had no pitcher! So...it was one of the cheapest options we found and we enjoyed our stay. Did I mention how nice the heated pool was? But this was a place in transition. I wish them luck!

Not the room I was expecting. Obviously going through some improvements and work. Pool was clean and comfortable. The beds squeak a lot. Close to the beach and plenty of parking. Old school door keys are a nostalgic touch, make sure you get the correct one. Not terrible, not amazing.

The place was ok, but no elevator working and it was time to check out a little before 8 and no one available, I called twice to let them know that I drop off the keys at there mailbox and no one answer

I would not stay here again. The room had no amenities and was small. The washer and dryer were broken. There were bags of trash on the walkway and broken ac units. The staff was nice and it was close to the beach, but that's about it.

Room was spotless and roomy. Did not need the kitchen but it was there if I needed it...full sized fridge, stove, coffee maker. Even had a small sitting room with a tsble & lamp. I'd stay there anytime.

No frills - you get what you pay for. We got the place to be close to the beach - great location! Pool was good - place was dirty but our room was fine, just a little dirty...some weird characters around the place...overall two star place but Deerfield Beach was beautiful!

The proximity to the beach is great. You can leave your car there and walk to the beach, so then you don’t have to pay for parking at the beach. Avalon is a motel. The guest before me definitely smoked in the room I had. Being a non smoker the air quality in the room was horrible and it did have a big humidifier running. I thought I would be able to sit outside and enjoy the night, but all the smokers are sitting outside their room’s smoking. The A/C was so loud you don’t get a relaxing environment. There are not many outlets, so we struggled to charge our phones. I couldn’t use the refrigerator or coffeemaker because 1 wire was for the TV and the other was for the humidifier. Next outlet was not close by and I was not going to move around furniture. The toilet would clog up, blow dryer was broken, and towels smell bad. Worst experience I have ever had. Couldn’t wait to check out!

Staff was great, 1 person, says he is the owner, they are not open 24/7, have a limit as to when you can check in, if you are late, you could be sorry, they told me they don't stay past 7 pm. Positives, the room was huge, came with a kitchen, hot water, clean. Negatives: place was old, like I jump backed to the 70's,, to their credit, he told me they were remodeling, which is why I saw so much trash and discarded mattresses outside. TV controller didn't work, rugs, couches, furniture smelled musty and old. Let's hope they renovate quickly.

The property's location is fantastic, but the lack of upkeep and the unhygienic condition of the furniture and rug made our stay uncomfortable...we decided to go to target to purchase new bed sheets and pillows just to get a good nights rest. Apart from that, the toilet seat was broken, there were mold stains on the ceiling, dark stains on the chairs, and mystery white powder on the sofa..we did not feel comfortable sitting on anything in our room but it was too late to check out.

When we arrived we was greet with friendly staff. When we opened the door to the room it had an odor to it. We also discovered that there was no toilet paper. The light fixture should have had 4 lightbulbs but it only had to and one of them was a red one. The bed only had a blanket and a flat sheet on it no fitted sheet on the mattress. The floors were nasty and sticky, windows were so dirty it was hard to see clearly through them. Not to mention the cockroaches in the kitchen and the hole in the drawer where a mouse chewed through it. Definitely would not recommend this place.

The reservation was for 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, but they dident now why they don’t have the room I book, but that was not the worst part, starting from the office, elevator and the room was very dirty, but the room was a really departed with all the furniture dirty, I’m sorry dident take pictures, but this was the worst place to stay I all my experience

Very nice place but the inside not really clean , the towels is not good ,not clean ,they look old , this place need new towels. The bed keep on rolling with you ,the keys for the door is wrong I was away for a little bid my door have to stay unlocked.

Decent place for my family to stay for a couple of nights as it was close to the beach and other amenities. Felt safe. Really nice view of the sunrise too so definitely was not complaining. Doreen and Megan was really helpful and nice. If i am stopping by the area would definitely stay again for one or two nights.

The location and price of Avalon were solid. The room, however, was dated and in need of a makeover. Examples were squeaky beds, mildewed baseboards and old blinds that didn’t black out the sun. Strangely, the pool area speaker next to our room was on playing music all night. Pool area was nice and staff were helpful. If you’re on a budget, Avalon is just OK.

Everything was fine our neighbors were just up extremely late playing loud music. I called staff and it was handled but it was a bummer to be woken up at 12:30 by loud music.

Horrible beds, definitely don’t stay here if you have a bad back or any kind of issues. Also the toilet didn’t work. That being said location was great and had a nice sea view.

I wasn’t expecting too much about this hotel, but I ended up liking it, the room was spacious, it even had a balcony and the best was the Jacuzzi. I really liked. I asked the manager to move my reservation from Friday to Sunday and he did it with no problem. I totally recommend it.

I attempted to reach them through Expedia, who also said no one responded. I finally received an email after my trip to Florida was over, asking if I would like for them to change the date of my stay. I explained that would have been helpful if they responded before my trip however, I was no longer in Florida. The resorts response was that they would still charge me for one night as a no show. There was no response from the Resort explaining this decision even though I have proof of attempting to contact them, starting from date of reservation being made.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The area was very nice and the beach was very close by. The pool was clean. There were some amenities that were advertised that were not available, but I know they are currently going through a remodeling. Management was great and made our first trip to Deerfield Beach memorable. Thank you!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Has all the basics for a budget stay. One block from the beach, they keep some chairs and beach toys to take to the beach if you want. There is plenty of parking. One issue is that you will need to drive to most restaurants. It is less than half the price of the Embassy Suites across the street, good value.

Staff was great, 1 person, says he is the owner, they are not open 24/7, have a limit as to when you can check in, if you are late, you could be sorry, they told me they don't stay past 7 pm. Positives, the room was huge, came with a kitchen, hot water, clean. Negatives: place was old, like I jump backed to the 70's,, to their credit, he told me they were remodeling, which is why I saw so much trash and discarded mattresses outside. TV controller didn't work, rugs, couches, furniture smelled musty and old. Let's hope they renovate quickly.

This is an interesting place. The staff is nice, but you have to call them to get them to the office during most hours. But they come quickly. The pool is nice and in great shape, but the place is under renovation and some things outside are pretty trashed. Our room was..interesting. Roomy with a full, well-stocked kitchen, but the couch was so torn up they had covered it with a little, ineffective cloth. Bed was quite decent. I think most rooms have been renovated, but ours was not yet. There was a water bottle on the counter and a bike lock in the kitchen drawer, so it seemed like someone has been living there long term. And maybe that is what this hotel is about? Our room faced the ocean with a little balcony. Only one chair but kind of nice. The curtains were metal blinds and had not been closed in years. They provided coffee, but the coffee maker had no pitcher! So...it was one of the cheapest options we found and we enjoyed our stay. Did I mention how nice the heated pool was? But this was a place in transition. I wish them luck!

Everything was fine our neighbors were just up extremely late playing loud music. I called staff and it was handled but it was a bummer to be woken up at 12:30 by loud music.

I wasn’t expecting too much about this hotel, but I ended up liking it, the room was spacious, it even had a balcony and the best was the Jacuzzi. I really liked. I asked the manager to move my reservation from Friday to Sunday and he did it with no problem. I totally recommend it.

I'll start this with a little bit of a problem because when we arrived we were told under no uncertain terms that we hadn't got a booking. After a little bit of me looking for the evidence of our booking on the app and the gentleman looking in the system he did find us and we were given the room that he just finished painting. Room itself was lovely in that it's very high got massive windows at the front and a kitchenette however it did need some work doing to the wardrobes which we couldn't use and also the beds definitely needed replacing( we actually had to put a book under the wheel to stop it from collapsing). The accommodation has plenty of parking and a nice pool and it's conveniently located about a block from the sea and about half mile walk along the beach to restaurants and bars

No frills - you get what you pay for. We got the place to be close to the beach - great location! Pool was good - place was dirty but our room was fine, just a little dirty...some weird characters around the place...overall two star place but Deerfield Beach was beautiful!

Decent place for my family to stay for a couple of nights as it was close to the beach and other amenities. Felt safe. Really nice view of the sunrise too so definitely was not complaining. Doreen and Megan was really helpful and nice. If i am stopping by the area would definitely stay again for one or two nights.

The proximity to the beach is great. You can leave your car there and walk to the beach, so then you don’t have to pay for parking at the beach. Avalon is a motel. The guest before me definitely smoked in the room I had. Being a non smoker the air quality in the room was horrible and it did have a big humidifier running. I thought I would be able to sit outside and enjoy the night, but all the smokers are sitting outside their room’s smoking. The A/C was so loud you don’t get a relaxing environment. There are not many outlets, so we struggled to charge our phones. I couldn’t use the refrigerator or coffeemaker because 1 wire was for the TV and the other was for the humidifier. Next outlet was not close by and I was not going to move around furniture. The toilet would clog up, blow dryer was broken, and towels smell bad. Worst experience I have ever had. Couldn’t wait to check out!

Horrible beds, definitely don’t stay here if you have a bad back or any kind of issues. Also the toilet didn’t work. That being said location was great and had a nice sea view.

The area of town was nice. Walking distance to nice restaurants. The quality of the hotel was poor. Bathroom was not as clean as I expected. The room number was hand painted on the door in messy writing. Missing toilet paper holder, missing towel rack in shower, ripped plastic shower curtain. They had painted over the tile and the paint was chipping off. Linoleum floor coming up. I think they need a new maintenance person. The walls were extremely thin and I could hear the entire phone conversation of the guy in the next room. Every time he coughed, it woke me up. I ended up having to put white noise on my phone. The check in lady who lived on the premises was extremely friendly. She was the only shining light to this hotel.
