Nice room and bathroom. Friendly front staff. Breakfast has lots of options, basic quality. Pool was nice size for kids but it was cloudy in appearance. Parking is 43/night.

The pool was closed for cleaning but I enjoyed the gym and loved that you could connect your streaming services without having to sign in on the tv itself. It was quiet and serene! Would definitely stay here again!

Floor layout was different, would be much better without all the turns. The air conditioning units outside our room was a problem when they started and were running most of the night, the view of them wasn’t great either! The final situation is the parking cost were extremely high, been to numerous cities and hotels this was the highest I’ve experienced!

It’s across the street from Bainbridge. Very convenient. However the beds are NOT $600 a night beds. Mattresses sag horribly. This was my second stay in 2 weeks and I was sorely disappointed in beds. Since beds are the main thing about a hotel. Also when paying $600 a night they should not close down the ONLY restaurant and bar for private parties. Had to leave to get food and drink at a highend hotel. Ridiculous.

At time of check-in two of the four elevators were out. Over 20 guests waiting, front desk did not let us know at check-in. No out of order signs were posted and many unhappy guests. Sofa sleeper in terrible shape, mattress was worn and thin, the carpet under the sleeper hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. The pool experience was a disaster. A youth sports team took over the pool, roughhousing and loud. This made the pool unusable for others. Called the desk to complain and clerk seemed unconcerned. Breakfast was very good.

The shower on the room had clearly not been cleaned in between guests. There was hair in several locations in the shower. The valet was extremely unhelpful upon our arrival. I was stopping at the hotel on a road trip and had a child on crutches, dogs, and another child and they were unwilling to let me unload my car in the front of the hotel. I had to go into the garage and back and forth on two different elevators several times just to get situated. If the valet had just allowed me to unload my suitcases with my son on crutches, it would’ve saved a lot of hassle. On a positive, we had a great experience at the seafood restaurant.

My room was situated on the seventh floor, and despite the distance, street noise was still audible. I was not informed that housekeeping services were provided daily, as they were only offered every third day. Upon booking my room, I had assumed that parking was included, but I ended up paying $150 for the three-night stay. The room was extremely dusty, the lobby was poorly maintained the furniture was stained. Poorly clean dishes on breakfast buffet.

Our room smelled of cigarette smoke when we walked in. The hotel was sold out so we tolerated it for the 3 day stay. The bathroom shower had hairs all over. Always love the Hyatt but this was a huge disappointment. Location was a plus.

The front desk staff was amazing. I had hair all over my bed and there was a poop stain on the couch. The breakfast was awful. Even cheap hotels have better food. Dishes were sticky and dirty. The room looked nice and the bathroom/shower was beautiful.

My room was supposed to be a city view. We looked out at a brick wall. I walked into a unclean, wet hand towel. My husband then pulled out the sleeper sofa later and the sheets were used! Never changed!

The beds are amazing and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had! My only complaints are with the room bathroom - chipped and peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, moldy/stained shower grout. But with its proximity to Gainbridge and a decent parking garage, we will definitely be back!!

The first room had yellow stains on the bed sheets and the pillows smelled awful. I asked for a different room which they gave me but that one was worser. You hear water running the whole 30mins i sat in the room. The room had a horrible smell. The bed was uncomfortable. I tried to sleep with a blanket i bought from home over my face but it was unbearable. I couldn’t breath in the room because it felt like I was getting sick from inhaling the smell of tge room. So bad that me and my fiance are now in the car trying to sleep until the morning. The elevators kept getting stuck on certain floors then one wouldn’t even leave the first floor.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean, but it is on a very busy street. The Gainbridge fieldhouse is directly across the street and draws thousands of people. The nightlife is very active in the area as well. We were keep up until 3am. My advice to anyone who stays here over the weekend is to stay on the backside of the hotel away from the main street. This hotel is 15 stories high and has plenty of rooms.

Was there the night the Pacers lost in the Finals so it was a hectic scene and seemed fun and energetic. But even well after the game was over, the long straight street welcomed loud vehicles/motorcycles that ripped down the road like a drag race at all hours until the sun came up; the hotel didn't deflect any sounds of that nature. Room was very nice. Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner options around hotel were plentiful. Not a very busy atmosphere for a Monday.

The staff was awesome! No complaints and felt I got 5 star service from everyone. The bed was felt warn out all r the window kept ZERO noise out at night and the street was extremely loud. Also valet parking is extremely high and so it the regular parking. Seem like they might be gauging the guests.

Nice facilities. Lot to do around the area. The only thing i didn't like was the room lighting was confusing. There is a master switch that took some getting used too and there is no fan in the bathroom to conceal noise from other guests.

The room was very clean, the location of the hotel was perfect, and the bed was very comfortable. parking was easy the parking garage was next door and we entered the hotel from the garage. I highly recommend this hotel. Also the rooms were quiet.

We were promised a refund on the room due to being given one which had a bathroom which was under repair and subsequent issues occurred before finally being assigned a new room (after initially being told there were no other available ones). The refund has not occurred and the hotel itself never responded to a message regarding this. While the hotel is in a great location for access, being placed in a room that was essentially nonfunctional and the delay in finally being provided with an alternative is problematic as staff should have known the first room was not acceptable due to the work being done on it. The lack of additional communication has solidified that despite its location, this is not a place we would plan to return to. The ratings here reflect the specific initial room overall.

We came to Indianapolis for a Fever game and one room for Thursday night and two rooms booked for Friday night. We needed two rooms with two queen beds and one of our rooms got cancelled for Friday, so all they had left was a king. We took it, but by the time our other family members got there to check in they had a room with two queen beds, on the same floor, and right next to us!!! A big thanks to Payton for figuring it out for us!! AND she gave us Fever bracelets that she made herself!!! We will definitely be back!!!

It starts and ends at the desk. I was greeted by a receptionist on her phone, had to almlst beg to get any information from her, couldnt care a less. I noticed thereafter pretty much everytime you walked past the desk they were playing on there phones. Only one member of staff that was remotely helpful on the desk. The bedding and bath towels all smelled like they were damp. Greeat location, modern hotel let down by some really poor staff.

We had an amazing stay. The only issue we had was the valet. We had alerted ballet via text at 10 AM went down to the valet. Stand stood there for 10 minutes before someone asked us our names then it took another 20 minutes for us to get our car people that came after us got their cars before we did.

Very rude staff. I had to wait for them to finish their conversation while waiting to check in.I was still polite. The man who checked me in bluntly stated “I only need your ID”. I let him know I would be using a different payment method than I used for the reservation and tried to offer my card, not realizing I needed to swipe the card myself. He seemed to get very annoyed and rolled his eyes, acted like I was an idiot. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it and his delivery was awful. He should not be in customer service. The room was mediocre. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were very worn and pilled. The room itself was very clean and smelled very clean. The door had to be forced hard to shut. The shower grout was very dirty and smelled of mildew as soon as you turned on the water. Location is great! Literally steps away from Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Thats really the only thing I liked about this hotel. Valet employees were very nice but I don’t think they actually work for the hotel because you have the option to pay them directly or pay them through the hotel. I think the initial rude employee just ruined the entire stay for me and made me less than forgiving for the other issues.

We were attending a show at Gainbridge fieldhouse and this hotel was directly across the street. Perfect location as we parked our car in the hotel ramp and never had to take it out again until we checked out. Plenty of restaurant choices or nightlife options within walking distance and we didn't have to bother with parking issues or congestion before/after the show. The hotel is nice and we slept well; comfortable beds and quiet. If/when we come back to Indianapolis I would choose the same hotel.

We came for the Big 10 Men’s Basketball Tournament and it is literally a 1 minute walk across the street to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Many dining options very close by. Hotel was clean and staff were very accommodating and friendly. We would stay here again.

Excellent location close to Gainbridge for Fever game! Parking is pricy and a confusing system to newbies. Staff was friendly. Pivot bar was very delicious. We ordered it late at night. It took over an hour for two meals, we ended up having to go get it ourselves. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Overall would absolutely recommend, especially if you’re going to a W/NBA game across the street! The breakfast was also delicious.

Great location for our trip. We came for a FEVER game and our room looked straight at Gainbridge House. Easy to get to the game. The room was comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast that was included was one of the best we have had. Every single staff member was excellent. Very polite and helpful. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Great location to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Valet service amazing. Breakfast was bad-powder eggs, cold potatoes, etc. Restaurant was excellent, Pier 48. Room ok, no water pressure in bathroom, shower drain clogged, towels hard and smelly.

Not quite the hotel I would expect from a hotel that had the Hyatt name. The breakfast buffet floor of the buffet was sticky, walking on the floor made our shoes sticky. The plates and cutlery were not very clean. The staff were not polite. For example, my wife asked the bartender a question, the bartender answered with a terse "NO" and moved on.

Everything was great except restaurant/bar/room service cheated us out of $44. We arrived on Sunday Room service open till 10pm ordered at 8:55pm didn’t get a call till 10:40 stating bar/room service had closed early and they would refund my money. Waited all week for refund while staying there asked about it several times. It’s now two weeks I’m home from vacation still no refund.

We pick that hotel, because it had a bar in a restaurant. I was unaware that people were able to rent that space out. Had I have known that I would not have stayed. I chose that particular hotel so we could have some food and drinks after the race. Never again!
