Four Points Flex by Sheraton London Shoreditch East

The property was in a good location for me, across the street from bus stop / tube station. It was clean, with friendly staff and has a restaurant and Uber services in the lobby (great for those without an account). The hallways were nice and the rooms feature internal electrical switches for "make up room" / "do not disturb" with relevant colors showing on the lighted room numbers outside the room - although simple, this is a really nice, sensible approach. There were also two lifts, which was convenient. Although I had a small windowless room, this did not bother me too much as the TV was good. I would have liked to have a kettle and possibly a microwave in the room, which contained only an expresso maker.

The hotel has a good location, meters away from the bus stop and subway starion. Behind the hotel there are great options for dining or just grabbing a drink. The staff is super helpful and the breakfast is decent. Unfortunately during my stay, the elevators weren't working; we stayed at the basement and it was not a huge issue, but I believe it was for the guests staying at the upper floors.

The hotel was clean and very handy for getting into central London. The hotel was bright and clean, most of the time. Breakfast on our first day was really poor, only one out of four hot food dishes was available. We were there for an hour and no scrambled eggs were brought out, even though we were told they were on their way. On Tuesday 18th at 8am, there was no butter, no tea spoons, no glasses for juice, no bacon, no eggs, no jam, only one or two plates left, no pastries and no milk provided for the tea I requested. The staff were too casual, no one was clearing dirty tables or asking customers for tea or coffee orders. I had to lift all the dirty plates and cups from our table and move to the counter top, then asked for the table to be wiped down. When the table was wiped, the crumbs and scrambled egg that was on the table was swept onto the floor in front of us. The staff were always gathered behind the bar counter talking and some on their phones, but no one was tidying up or checking what needed replenishing. The staff were too casual and very laid back. The second day was better, but there were no plates! The third day at 8.10am, there was no orange juice, the dispenser was filled with water! We did complain on the day we left about breakfast and the lack of service.

Friendly staff - but overall I have to say it felt like a 2-star stay. Lifts out of order. Soundproofing zero (!). WiFi constantly down. Shower leaking. It was a low price, but the experience was just very basic as well.

Well located hotel. Room was small and without a window but clean, modern and functional. Lobby area offers free water, coffee and fruit.

Room was simple but more than adequate and hotel was excellently located. No tables, no cutlery and no glasses at breakfast but worst of all, nobody seemed bothered. Shame as it let down an otherwise great stay

Love the area! Tube, overground and buses close by. Good dining and nightlife in area. Room was bigger than expected, and always clean. Room would improve with a small fridge. Cleaning staff was really polite and service minded. Staff in lobby were also great. They have a safe luggage room, that's great. But... YOU REALLY NEED TO GET THAT SECOND ELEVATOR FIXED! the waiting time for the elevator was not great, our room was on the 5th.

It does the job for one night but there does seem to be a plumbing issue. Slight smell of sewage in the bathroom (I was in an underground room) and you could seemingly hear everyone flushing the toilet in the nearby rooms. Other than that, staff was excellent and location good.

nice hotel - good for what you need but the rooms needed better cleaning - lots of dust around. shower was really good - powerful and room comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

We stay here regularly & it never disappoints.We're small people so the snug room is ideal for our size! The staff were friendly & the room was immaculately clean.

The room was spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. The staff were friendly unhelpful. There was a good quality breakfast available at a competitive price and overall I would write the Hotel very highly. The rooms are small but you do not need anymore. Highly recommended.

I stayed overnight for a quick work trip and while the room was expected to be small, the cleanliness wasn't that of a 4-star hotel. The toilet was stained red on the toilet seat, it was very untidy, and the sink was dirty and I had to clean myself.

I had to tell the person at the desk several times that I had booked throgh Hotel.com and I had already paid for breakfast. He asked me to prove it and I spent time searching for the receipt and then he found it on his system and agreed without apology. The room was very small, with a good shower and air con but no windows or hanging space. The ensuite was also very small with very little turning space. It did the job for us as we only needed it for one night, but it really was for only 1 or 2 nights. Breakfast was fine, with a limited choice.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The room was quite small but suitable for a 1 or 2 night stay. The doors can be quite loud when closing but it didn’t help that alot of guests just let them slam shut rather than closing them using the handle. We booked a city room which faced on to the main straight and it seemed there were sirens passing constantly throughout the night. Overall a nice hotel and would book it again for a short stay.

A really good no frills stay in London, we were visiting Victoria park so it was a 15 minute walk away and the hotel is right by Bethnal Green underground. Small rooms but perfect for what we needed in a 1 night stay, surprisingly quiet at night, all good!

Lacking in many of the amenities promised on the website. Size of premium Queen room is very underwhelming. Rooms are clearly not soundproof.

Hotel is extremely convenient to find, being right next to Bethnal Green tube stop. Our room was small (!), literally the width of the queen size bed. The window didn't open which made the room stuffy. Check in is from 3pm and no sooner (we tried at 14:50 and had to wait). However staff were friendly, our room was very clean, the bed was super comfy, so did the job for one night's stay. Great little bar - Mother Kelly's - behind the hotel if you're in the mood for a nightcap.

The rooms are extremely tiny and had zero sound isolation. The sink was too close to the toilet and It was difficult to do my business even though I am not fat and have average height. The family room we were given was a divided room with a locked door on the shared wall between our room and the next room. Whatever they speak or listen to, we were able to hear as if they were in our room. We requested to change our room and were given a 2 persons room. It was even smaller with a 2 persons bed (me, my wife and my son had to fit in). We were asked to pay the same price for this 2 persons room as the family room. This was one of my worst hotel experiences. I feel like grifted. The staff was kind, I will give you that. But I will never choose this brand again.

I paid extra for a room with a view. I got shoved down into the basement with a window showing a brick wall. Great view. Otherwise hotel was good.

No complaints to be had, but manage expectations when it comes to space. When the staff couldn't find my booking they worked quickly to sort it out, to their credit. The room itself was a compact double with a window - if you have a suitcase you may struggle for room but if you're there for a couple of days with a bag you'll be just fine. It's got a decent sized bathroom, a safe, and a really good set of blinds that blocks out all of the light. Plus, the windows reduce a lot of the street noise, so you'll sleep well. The windows don't open, but the climate control is excellent - our stay was during a heatwave and the cool air was wonderful, especially at night. If you can get over the minimal space, it's a good place to stay. You're close to the Bethnal Green underground station and you're close to two overground stops. I'd certainly stay here again.

A great capsule bedroom which was very adequate for our needs in a great East London location, close to both Bethnal tube station & Boris bikes! The staff were all professional & friendly.

Ok location. That is the only thing going for this place. Across the street from trains. Staff friendliness is NON-EXISTENT. They seem to be a broken record or robot. No WOW factor whatsoever. Ok place for the money but DO NOT expect to be happy.

The hotel went above and beyond to set up a cake and balloons I ordered for my wife. A room upgrade, towel swans, a birthday card and rose petals were all displayed. Incredible team. They were all polite and helpful at all hours

Very impressed with this hotel. Was a little pricey, however we had a flat screen smart tv, a good bathroom, comfy beds, coffee machine provided, and amazing service from the staff. Would recommend

The staff were wonderful: friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location was also perfect, making it easy to get around and enjoy London.

Very accommodating staff

The receptionist on the morning shift (asian nationality) was not friendly and did not seem to care about accomodating guests , also he did not speak good enough english, the cleanliness in the room was not good enough they did not removed from the room dirty glasses and coffee cups and were there for 3 nights in a row, the sofa bed extremely unconfortable , wouldnt stay here again or reccomend this property other than location as it was very convenient

I loved my stay here, hotel was perfect and super close to bethnal green tube station, staff was so kind and helped me for a late check out. 100% recommend.

Family room is spacious with double bed and double sofa bed, our stay included breakfast which was great. Property is a block away from underground station Bethnal Green, across the street from young v&a, and 10m walk to Victoria Park/Market and Broadway Market… super convenient.

It’s ok - this property isn’t really in Shoreditch, but does have a tube stop very near by. Our room didn’t have any windows which we were not warned about and wasn't made clear in our room selection. Otherwise, it was a basic stay.

The location is great, only a minute away from the tube station with easy access to central London. The room was really clean and had a modern feel about it. The staff at reception were super friendly and accommodating. The only downside I could mention is that the cleaning staff went knocking at my door (like half an hour before the check out time) on the checkout day just to tell me: you're leaving today right? - it is not a big deal but it makes you feel they're rushing you when you are getting ready to leave anyway. Apart from this, everything was great and would definitely be staying again.

Good location for the Bethnal Green tube station. Hotel is modern with rooms which are small but adequate. Breakfast is great and the staff are very helpful. Nice places to eat behind the hotel. Will stay again.

Lovely clean rooms with a decent coffee machine, complementary water and super clean rooms and bar area. Breakfast was basic but nice with hot food replaced regularly. I'd definitely stay again!

The restaurant had very limited availability of basic items such as clean glasses, coffee at breakfast and orange juice that was not available for four days. The staff all seemed very young with little experience and no one appeared to be taking control or managing the hotel. Overall, I woud stay again for the convenience in that I was simply using afor a place to sleep.

Hotel was centrally based. 2 mins from Bethnal Green station, walkable to Shoreditch, with a sainsburys local nearby. Bars and restaurants located nearby. Breakfast for£10 is a bargain, and voucher for free drink at the bar
