The staff was very nice, easy check in. Breakfast was good The pool was not clean, and they blocked off the stairs so you could only use the elevator at the busiest time at check out in the morning.

The hotel is off the main road and pretty much at the beginning of town coming from Cleveland, GA . Noise is not a problem. The pool was out of service for the 4 days of our stay, which was a bummer because they had a heat wave in Helen, GA of over 100 degrees with the heat index. The room was clean. The breakfast which we were told was a full breakfast was not. The apple juice was watered down and no orange juice any of the days we stayed. They had an exercise room. A washer and dryer available. There Ice machines were broke on the second and third floor which needed cleaned badly. The Non smokers were greeted by smokers as you entered or exited the front doors due to having the smoking area right by the front doors. Poor design. The hotel is walking distance to the river rafting places, along with a good selection of restaurants. Walking is your best option unless you want to pay 10.00 each time you go downtown to shop or eat.

They gave us a room upgrade👍. Loved the 24/7 free coffee, tea and hot water in the lobby and cookies too! They also had a very good breakfast Only negative was even though each of the three floors had an ice machine, only one was working.

Ok, first of all at checkin Dora was very nice. She told us that the elevator had not been working but was working now. Well, later on that day it stopped working again. It never worked again until we checked out. We were on the 3rd floor. Also, the heated pool was not heated. I asked and they told me that the heater had been repaired but now they had to wait on someone to turn on the propane which didn't happen during our stay. We had a suite with a separate bedroom with a pull out sofa and the sofa had a huge stain on it. The rest of the room was clean and we had plenty of towels. The bathroom is really small, not really even enough room to get dress in the bathroom. I would not stay there again. They really need to work on things. I even committed on how nice Dora was at check-in but when I checked out, I told her that if I would have known the elevator wasn't going to work I would have never checked in and she said I told everyone but no she didn't tell us there was a chance it would stop working. We had to walk up all those stairs.

General Maintenance issues. Ice machine broken, 4 days there and OJ always unavailable/empty for breakfast, pool not available (AGAIN...the online ad should be revised to correct the amenities list as this is the second time in 3 visits that this is the case). Overall quality seems to be dropping in the 3 visits I've had here...I chose the hotel for convenience but am thinking of looking elsewhere before next years trip with the family.

The Indoor pool was great! And they provided conveinient outdoor furniture.

I booked this place especially for the hot tub and pool. We were very disappointed to find no hot tub as pictures show in the hotel description.

Personnel were very nice and accommodating. The room where the pool was had a strong odor of bleach but I was told the pool room didn’t have good ventilation. The pool was eventually closed due to the filtration system not working. Our room was nice but needed renovation and deep cleaning. The elevator’s floor identifications were not working. Only one ice machine was working which was on the first floor. Parking was adequate, safe, and on property. One of the beds sagged a little in the middle which was uncomfortable for a good night’s sleep.

Loved being close to the areas attractions. The hotel room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We found other people's clothing and their trash, used soap bar, in the room.dissapointing and won't stay there again.

We were very disappointed with this hotel, specially after deciding to stay at a "chain" where you take certain things for granted like a professional service, and overall good condition of the rooms and general areas. We unfortunaly arrived to a room that probably shouldn't have been offered to any guest with humidity and cracks in the ceiling, dirty walls and rust in the bathroom. The hotel staff was unapologetic about the situation and mentioned "they havent had a chance to make repairs" and didnt even offer to move us to another room, thankfully after talking to Hotels.com customer service they arranged the change. The hotel in general is rundown and staff service is poor, definitely better options out there specially for the price.

Smell hit us when we entered the room. Bathroom had a lot of mildew and floor was dirty. Door beat up walls nasty. Didn't complain as we only stayed one night. We turned on a/c really low to get some of the nasty smell out. Pool area also unkept dirty. Definitely not worth the price and will not return.

Very clean walking distance to downtown.

The hotel is very clean, breakfast was excellent, staff was very nice and friendly and my room was very nice and clean.

The staff at the front desk was rude,the pool was out, they had days to tell there customers about the pool being out! The front door glass was dirty, it never got cleaned the three days I was there. The carpet was filthy, this is what the customer sees when they come in the front door. Our room was dirty, they were candy wrappers in the night stand, food crumbs by the bed on the floor, the bathroom door had dirt on it.dirt on the floor at the elevator landing! That never got vacuum the whole time I was there!!! Thank you

Bathroom sink drained very slowly as did the shower . Carpeting blackened the bottom of white socks in a matter of minutes. I didn't complain as I've stayed elsewhere in the area with worse conditions. I paid more for this place thinking it would be better. Breakfast was wonderful and staff is great! Walking distance to town.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was a good size but not as clean as we would have expected. Dirty linens were left on the pullout couch and a dirty towel left in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were extremely nice.

The hotel and location were great! Nearby to restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious and comfortable had a small refrigerator and microwave for your convenience. Bed was comfortable as well. Highly recommend!

It’s a tourist town, lots of hotels, our stay was nice, room was clean, nice bedding, easy checkin Lady at the checkin was more than helpful.

Sofa bed was abysmal, torn vinyl? on one corner, i was afraid to open it. The other beds seemed newer. Very convenient location, walking to town and such was easy enough.

Large area room with separation of sleep and sitting area. Refrigerator has a freezer. Would ask for top floor as person above us had big feet and was restless most of the time.

Great location, good morning breakfast. Rooms are dated, there was a yellow stain on the bedsheet, can hear noise from people walking and talking in the corridor.

Stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Both beds need new mattresses - uncomfortable. Breakfast was good for being included. 2nd night had noisy neighbors sounded like they came back from a bar initially with a lot of people in the room.

Pleasant stay. The hotel needs additional elevators, room has been redone. Everything was clean. Sloppy remodel but still updated. Bed quality not ideal. Pillow quality could have been better by not the worst. Price point good. Would stay again

Staff was RUDE to my daughter. DO NOT STAY HERE. Her room was not ready until an HOUR AFTER checkin time. Her bed had OLD BLOOD STAINS on the mattress. Lady at the front desk told her to “mind my own business” when asking why the room wasn’t ready on time. She also told her she was “on steroids” and to “not mess with her.” NO HOSPITALITY. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL.

I don't typically write reviews. And if I do, I prefer to write good reviews. This was a hard review to write. The hotel location was great.The room was clean - back to that in a moment.A/C was super cold-:) Bed was comfortable Enjoyed the walk in shower! Cable, fridge, coffee machine worked. Sounds like a great review so far right? Okay, so, check in time was 3pm. We arrived around 2:15 or so and checked the status of the room. I've learned the hard way to arrive early and check. This being a Prime example of your Why. Along with a few other customers, we were told our rooms were not ready. Feel free to go do some running around or complete whatever plans we had scheduled, the rooms would be ready soon. Staff did offer to put our groceries in the fridge in the room for us, which we appreciated. We returned around 3:15pm to find out the room was still not ready. We gained access to the room around 3:30pm. Staff has been pleasant the entire time. Following morning and check out is 11am. Free Breakfast included from 7-10. Why at 9:30am with a Do Not Disturb Sign on the Door, are you banging on my door. A hotel review should be an easy review. It was either a good experience or not. A clean room ready for it's guests to use for the entirety of it's planned time. Clean room, hot water, good air. But the room has to be available. From check in to check out. That's what I paid for. That's what I expect to receive in return.

I arrived at 1 a.m. with my family after driving all the way from Miami, and we spent an hour waiting to check in because, according to the receptionist, the room that had been assigned to me had already been rented out. During this time, my children, exhausted from the trip, were sleeping on the furniture in the lobby. At 2 a.m., the receptionist finally realized that no one was actually in my assigned room and that the issue was simply a problem with the lock that wouldn’t open. I understand this kind of thing can happen to anyone, but I find it unacceptable that she didn’t know whether the room was available or not, especially considering I paid $300 for just a few hours of such poor service. On top of that, at 10:30 a.m., someone from the hotel opened the door to the room without knocking, and this happened while my kids were in the shower. After such a long trip, this hotel honestly left me with a bad impression. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I cannot recommend this place.

We were booked for 11/7-11/9, showed up at 9:00 on Friday night 11/7 to be told there was no record of our stay, despite having the Hotels.com confirmation and emails pulled up to show the woman. It is interesting to note that this email asking for this review now shows the booking was 11/6-11/8. While standing there, it was evident other parties had been moved around due to some room issues and I'm assuming one was given our room. Listening to the woman argue with the GM on the phone it was evident a mistake had been made somewhere with the GM trying to fix it and the incredibly rude woman at the desk (likely who made the mistake) unwilling to do so. Thankfully Hotels.com was able to get us to a different hotel. I would not give this hotel another minute of my time or penny of my money after the way we were dismissed and mistreated over something that clearly was not our fault. Go to the Holiday Inn down the road and get a better experience!

We had an amazing trip and a wonderful stay. The guest service individual that checked us in was exceptional.

This hotel is a great location, walking distance to everything in Helen. The room was average, not dirty but also not immaculately clean. Nice shower, comfy beds. Breakfast was what you would expect, and the staff was very friendly and helpful there. Only downside was the very scattered check in process — it really took an entire 20 minutes to get checked in. The desk staff was very friendly but also very confused. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff is very nice. Especially the kind woman who checked us in the late afternoon. She even upgraded our room! It was such a nice gesture. I highly recommend this hotel. I thought the breakfast was great as well and breakfast staff did a great job.

Perfect location in Helen. We didn’t have to worry about paying for parking downtown as it was a quick 3-5 min walk. Staff was 10/10 and continental breakfast was some of the best I’ve had at a hotel! Clean rooms! Will stay here again when visiting Helen.

We checked into this property and I was pleased with the front desk person. This hotel was smack in the middle of Helen Ga which was great!! The property was clean, safe and quiet. I would recommend a stay here. They also serve a full breakfast.

The hotel is located at almost the center of all the attractions. Easy parking, the hotel staff was absolutely awesome!! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

We enjoyed the breakfast. Our favorite breakfast staff person was Miechel. She always started our day with a smile.
