The location was perfect! Right next to all the shops and restaurants, super walkable. The room was very clean. Super comfy bed and nice space. We stayed for a night and had no complaints. An attendant is in the lobby 24/7 which is super nice if any issues occur. Easy check in and check out. Free parking. Overall, 10/10.

Room and pool were clean. Staff friendly. The property is older and needs some maintenance, most critically needs to replace the air conditioning units and the refrigerator froze my food. It was so handy to be able to walk to everything. I would stay here again.

My husband and I travel throughout the USA a bunch. The cleanliness of this place resembles the perfect housekeeping of my German neighbor back in the day. Friendly staff too. Pool was a warm welcome during our rainy visit. Loved our stay here.

The front desk lady Tammy is wonderful. Everything that could go wrong went wrong! But Tammy made sure to make it right and had everything fixed with in 5 mins if not sooner. There was drinks in the refrigerator food in the microwave, a light was flickering, the remote control battery’s were dead and the phone to call the front desk was not working. Oh, our card was deactivated to. All these thangs were out of site out of mind issues so we understood. The pool was green as well. All these issue were corrected even the pool. I don’t think I would return to this place. But I do appreciate Tammy! Thank you Tammy!!!!

Terrific location, friendly and awesome staff! This hotel was clean and comfortable. The heated indoor pool was a great bonus. This location is close to everything, across the street from the Georgia Mountain Coaster, and blocks from shops, restaurants, anf tubing. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Staff was wonderful. Accommodations were good. Room was clean. Right in the middle of where we needed to be. Everything was within a 5-10 minute walk. Didn’t drive anywhere, which is great because traffic got heavy during the day and through the evening hours. Provided breakfast was ok. Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee and tea. We were there to try the local restaurants, so breakfast wasn’t a big thing for us. Staff was very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel really needs a facelift. The cartridge in our shower broke the last night, so they let us use the shower in another room. Half the ceiling was growing black mold and they had a dehumidifier running in the room. That was room 110 fyi. The breakfast was nice and I really appreciate the allergy friendly options, but the toilet plunger outside our door when we came back wasn't great. The location is great, but I wouldn’t consider coming back here again.

From the initial check in to the check out, the staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were spotless, we spilled water in the floor and used white towels to pick it up. By accident we found out just how clean the floors truely were when the white towels that we used were still white! I was a little hesitant as we had never stayed in this line of hotels before.

The bed was clean and well made. The bathroom had water spots/mold in the ceiling. The rooms floor was incredibly dirty to the point the bottom of my feet were black.

First of all, our room was disgusting. There was a spill left over in our mini fridge from whenever. There was sand in our beds. Someone had spilled something on the TV guide and our dresser was sticky. I really don’t understand why the room wasn’t cleaner. Second of all, the staff seemed as if they were just trying to get people in and out. The receptionist made a group announcement when I was checking in while the line piled up behind me. (We got there around 7pm) When I went to check out two days later on a Sunday morning (an hour before check out time) no one was there. I checked and looked for someone but no one was there. Third, if you’re looking for a hot breakfast do not go here. Everything is premade and you have to stick it in one of the two microwaves they have. I wouldn’t do this for a weekend getaway ever again.

Staff was very friendly but the room itself was run down. The chair and bed felt damp in the room and they had a humidifier in there I guess to try and combat this problem. There were also two cockroaches that we found in the room.

Good: - The employees at the front desk were great. - The location is very convenient for walking around Helen. Bad: -The mattresses were thin, hard, and just had a generally cheap feel. - The TV remote would turn on the television but nothing else (making it useless). - The refrigerator was broken. - The curtain was broken so it had to be rigged to actually cover the whole window. - The toilet seat wouldn't stay up. This place has a Motel 6 feel but with a Hilton price.

The likes are the staff is very accommodating and friendly. Parking is free and good, the hotel is within walking distance of most local restaurants and shops. The unlikes are mostly noise related. The rooms are just too noisy. You can hear people talking through the walls, especially children. And you can hear every footfall, shoe drop, luggage drop, Toilet flush from above as well as talking.

Location is very convenient close to everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the beds were less comfortable my mattress was really worn out. Breakfast was decent except that some of the fruits didn’t look fresh ( dark bananas and found some mold in some oranges). The price I paid for one night I expected better room amenities like a coffee machine. But the room was very clean! Unfortunately it was a little let down from my expectations but it did help that the location was great, walking distance to every where I needed to go. Thank you!

Front desk service was great, she made sure to show me my room number rather than speak it out loud as there were others in the vicinity. Room was clean, bed was comfy, shower was nice. The tv remote didn’t work great and the AC was difficult to get going.

The price was a little high, as are all prices in Helen. Room was generally clean but bathroom could use a refresh. The sink was a standard bathroom resin sink that had worn through the hard coating. Had been repaired with paint and looked terrible. The tub had loads of mould & mildew in the grout lines. I forgot to request a first floor room at booking and hotel could not accommodate request at check-in. Web page says "free breakfast" which turned out to be a very modest continental breakfast. On the plus side, the location was good and the staff was cheerful and helpful. Will probably not go back to Helen.

We absolutely love Helen, GA. We decided to stay there for our 1st anniversary. We rode in on our motorcycle, with that, made for a long ride. We arrived couple hours earlier than the posted check in time. The clerk said she had a room that wasn't used the day before so we could check in to that room. Plus let us do a late check out. She was very friendly and helpful. The night clerk was just as friendly and helpful. Usually we have crappy service by young people that seem to think customers are bothering them. Not here. We plan to book here when we come back.

This was a Great property on all levels & I cannot say enough about it! Especially, the front desk staff and how they welcome you and make you feel at home and like family. Everything facet of my visit was off the charts exceptional and I would give it a 10+

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a problem with another booking and got moved to this hotel. The lady at the front desk was super nice during check in and check out. It was not a bad walk to downtown.

Tammy at the front desk was delightful. Very accommodating and it was spotless!! She advised us of things to do and places to eat. Housekeeping was amazing and the lobby, rooms, surrounding parking lot was very clean

The location was perfect! Right next to all the shops and restaurants, super walkable. The room was very clean. Super comfy bed and nice space. We stayed for a night and had no complaints. An attendant is in the lobby 24/7 which is super nice if any issues occur. Easy check in and check out. Free parking. Overall, 10/10.

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Great stay within walking distance of all of the downtown Helen excitement. Room was well appointed, will definitely book here again for future Helen trips. Avoiding downtown traffic and parking fees by being able to walk is a great benefit.

Great location, close to downtown. There have been updates but our room smelled of old smoke even though we were warned about the no smoking policy. I had requested non-smoking as i have allergies. The air conditioner was noisy. The pool is heated, so we enjoyed a swim at the end of the day. They serve a breakfast, cold one but enough to get your day started.

Room was clean and comfy, plus there was plenty shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and body lotion available (and not the little bottle kind) They do not offer a continental hot breakfast, but there is free breakfast (bagles, toast, fruits, cereals, yogurt, juices, milk, coffee, tea and muffins)

The price was a little high, as are all prices in Helen. Room was generally clean but bathroom could use a refresh. The sink was a standard bathroom resin sink that had worn through the hard coating. Had been repaired with paint and looked terrible. The tub had loads of mould & mildew in the grout lines. I forgot to request a first floor room at booking and hotel could not accommodate request at check-in. Web page says "free breakfast" which turned out to be a very modest continental breakfast. On the plus side, the location was good and the staff was cheerful and helpful. Will probably not go back to Helen.

Staff was wonderful. Accommodations were good. Room was clean. Right in the middle of where we needed to be. Everything was within a 5-10 minute walk. Didn’t drive anywhere, which is great because traffic got heavy during the day and through the evening hours. Provided breakfast was ok. Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee and tea. We were there to try the local restaurants, so breakfast wasn’t a big thing for us. Staff was very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

The room was clean and modern. The location was perfect for walking everywhere. Parking was easy and free. Front staff was kind. Free breakfast was really cool, they have jimmy dean biscuits that you can microwave. I thought that was clever and a great idea to still offer a warm breakfast.

I couldnt even stay. As soon as I walked into yhe room, I was hit with an intense smell of mold. With health problems, I couldn't take the chance of getting another room due to fear all of them were that way. They said they will reimburse me for the full stay, however, there are three of the same charges on my credit card. Very poor experience.
