Since this new hotel had not been completely finished out, there were facilities that were not yet available such as the pool and exercise room. Prior to making our reservation we were not made aware of this. Otherwise I would have given a 5-star rating across the board.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Really close to historic pier. Only negative, needs more parking. But it doesn't stop me from returning in the future. This will be my go to spot.

my room seems spotless. the staff was overly accommodating. my one night stay ended up being two nights because everyone was so welcoming and the atmosphere was loving. im bad with names but the overnight guy was the friendliest person that greeted me. the parking lot is rather small and may result to you having to park on the street but it is a newer hotel and im sure over time they may expand their lot. i felt safe and secure in my room. i think i will always book here whenever i come visit galveston. i didn’t get the chance to check out their breakfast but it is decent hours!

We were very happy with our stay. Both the hotel and our room were very clean. Staff were very accommodating. It is only a 1 block walk to the ocean. It's also a short walk to Wendy's and Bubba Gump which is located on the pier which has all the amusement rides. Our dinner at Bubba Gump was excellent. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the cruise port for $15 per person. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, new, clean and bright. Nice room, staff was nice. Breakfast was great. I enjoyed it! The parking lot was my only dislike, and nothing they can do about that. It is a small lot. Handicapped parking is at the far end of the building, away from the door. Very inconvenient.

Everything was perfect! The staff, location, food, service, clean…we could walk to the beach, restaurants and attractions. Never felt unsafe at all! Nice small pool and close parking. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we visit that area again.

Staff was just ho-hum I guess I’ll check you in. The room has dark spots on the floor that came up easily with wet rag, so I’m guessing the floors were not mopped.

Yes the room was spotless! Newly renovated I think but very clean! Nice larger bathroom. Shower was set at max hot and pressure and adequate. Bed pretty comfortable and had a nice size fridge and microwave. Fridge worked well. Didn’t use microwave. Staff was nice.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We loved being able to see the water and having a balcony. The hotel is new. There were only a few things that we would have loved to see improved. There is no closet, just 2 small hooks for clothes. We travel with a lot of hanging clothes. There's no tub so a handheld shower nozzle would be very helpful. We would stay here again.

Friendly staff! Easy check in! The room was beautiful, nice and clean. Had a mini fridge, coffee pot and microwave. Comfortable bed as well! Located across the street from the Pleasure Pier so the location is great and close to nightlife and restaurants.

The hotel is brand new & clean. I paid for a balcony room, which I'm glad I did. Very nice room, comfy bed, fridge works great. The shower has a glass barn door & is huge! Customer service is top notch. Didn't eat the continental breakfast so I can't comment on that. Pool is a little on the small side but clean. 1 block off Seawall Blvd & close to all the attractions. I will definately stay there again!

Great property and location is a stone’s throw from the beach. Clean. AC was noisy, as well as some annoying sound (sounded like a draining bathtub) that never quit all night so had to sleep with pillows covering my ears. Room 516– maybe it was next to a mechanical room?

Our room was spotless. The balcony had a really nice view of the water. The room is very large and looks to be remodeled. The bed is very comfortable and the AC works great. Good location and close to the cruise port.

I enjoyed 99% of my stay there. The building, the staff, the breakfast, the cleanliness, all of it were as good as they could be. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint, from someone who works with buildings daily in my job, is the front doors of the hotel rooms slam hard; constantly. They are loud. They were so thoughtful to even put in slow close drawers in the suites themselves, but the front doors slam extremely hard when they could slow close softly themselves and be a lot quieter.

We were in town for a race. We arrived a few minutes after breakfast is closed. But rather than pull up all of the food, they gave us a few extra minutes so that way we could get our breakfast.

Never checked in- arrived at ~9:15 and was told there was no room available. It seems this hotel doesn't do "reservations," they do "requests." Was handled incredibly poorly by Darrel (sp?), directed us to another hotel claiming that he had spoken to their manager and that there were rooms available there, but this was incorrect and he had spoken to no one. Claimed it was the fault of Hotels.com who had overbooked them.

Sea Breeze was clean and the staff were nice. The food was just average but it fills a hole but they had flavored creamer and the coffee was hot and good. This is a good place to stay before a cruise but don’t pick the first week of November. It was Texas Rally weekend and the sound of revving motorcycles and loud music was continuous until 3am. Never again!

This was a great little hotel that checked all the boxes. It is brand new so they still have a few things they are working on like gym equipment and luggage holders, but it was so nice. Beds were comfy and rooms spacious and clean. Shower was fantastic as well with great hot water and good pressure. It is located right near the beach and restaurants you can walk to. Service staff were friendly and welcoming. Stay here!the only complaint was the breakfast, it was small with no eggs, but they had a waffle makers and juice.

Staff was great. But there is no room cleaning. There isn’t even towel service unless you go to the desk. Place was clean but water pressure was horrible. Had to run around to get wet. Included breakfast was pretty skimpy.
