Spend the extra money and stay at the comfort inn Cairo, even the staff at the Cairo one agreed the Paducah I-24 was nasty. This pictures on the site have to be from when they opened. Tried getting a refund and left within 20 minutes of getting in our room. I’ve never seen my daughter enter a pool then immediately exit and want to go home so fast. We took the loss for the room, save yourself the headache and book somewhere else. Also watch out for the wasps nests in the indoor pool.

The pool was out of order, the soda machine was out of order, the ice machine only produced a handful of ice, only the on/off and volume worked on the remote. Since we couldn’t swim we thought we would watch a movie but couldn’t watch anything but Diners, Drive ins and Dives. The room smelled like a wet towel. The price was inexpensive and the bed and bathroom were clean.

Had to switch rooms because our first one smelled of pot. Black mold on ceiling tiles in the exercise room. Half the breakfast station was out of order. Toilets backed up in multiple rooms (saw another guest returning a plunger when I was at desk complaining). Pictures of the hotel were from about 20 years ago and do not reflect current disrepair of facility

The motel was really run down and needs to be renovated. We would not stay there again. They really need to improve their breakfast. The coffee machine was broken, so no coffee We had to ask for forks. There was a juice machine, but no orange juice. The food was not fresh. Disappointing.

We rented this hotel because of the indoor pool. The pool was too cold to get in to. No other guests were in it. Drink machine on the first floor was also out. Other than that, it was great.

This is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I believe they should shut down for repairs and maintenance work before accepting more guests… they were out of most things. The breakfast sausage and eggs were undercooked.. all the juice was just murky water. Coffee was out of order. Most importantly our ac wasn’t working and it was very hot… the shower only had cold water. The pool was very filthy with trash all over. When I talked to staff I got brushed off and told everyone is having problems…

The hotel was fine. The wonderful smell hits you when you walk in the door. It was clean! There were no vending services. Everything said out of order. There was only one ice machine which was very low on ice. There was very little coffee for the breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was good! Overall was a nice place to stay.

We liked the location of the hotel (I-24 exit 3), easy in-and-out to visit many relatives. We prefer not to stay off Exit 4 due to the traffic configuration and the heavy traffic due to mall, hotels and eateries. The room was quite large with a separate sitting room from bedroom, 2 tv's, microwave and fridge and very quiet. The only negatives issues were the treadmill did not work and the blackout curtain was drooping and needed to be re-hung. We have stayed here in the past and will stay in the future, all-in-all it's good for the price.

We walked out after less than one hour. This was the most disgusting motel/hotel I have ever been in. The place is run down and filthy. In the room both TVs were broken with one having the screen completely cracked all over. You could not have cleaned the room and not seen this. Bathroom sink had dirt in it and the refrigerator had brown stuff in it. The carpet was beyond dirty. The elevator had a loud ear piercing sound which could be heard in the room down the hall. Others were switching rooms due to how dirty their room was. When I spoke to the staff he became defensive and told me my complaints were out of his hands and there was no manager to speak to. If I could give negative stars it would be -100. Stay in your car or under a bridge before staying here. We also felt very unsafe-lots of sketchy people coming in and out.

The room was the 2nd worse room / hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was water running from the light in the ceiling in the bathroom from the room above. The shower head was broken. The furniture was old and broke down. The door in the bathroom had holes in it that were fixed. The curtains were dirty.

The room was really disgusting. There were stains on the sheets, walls, and ceiling. The furniture looked like it hadn’t been dusted and the remote was sticky to the touch. By the time we realized all the issues, it was too late for us to switch rooms with our toddler. We were only here for one night and we are looking forward to leaving in the morning.

Good stay. Bed was pretty hard for our liking. Tub area in bathroom could have been cleaner. Coffee at free breakfast was horrible. Front desk very helpful when our tv Remote wouldn’t work. For the value it was a nice starry convenient to restaurants and stores.

I stayed for 6 nights. I did not care for having to call a number in order to get help at the reception desk. I hung a request form on the outside of my door for trash pickup on day 3, and I also had a light out over the sink. The form was ignored. I placed the request form on the reception desk the next day and it was ignored. I had to empty my own trash in a bin outside the hotel. The vending machine was out of order. The decaf coffee machine out of order in the lobby. No housekeeping visit for over 5 days. On the positive side, the A/C was robust, the hallways smelled very nice, and the hotel was quiet. Overall, I will not stay at this hotel again.

I waited at the front desk for 19 minutes for a hotel worker to assist me. There was no bell to ring to let anyone know that someone needed assistance so I eventually hollared out "hello.. excuse me?!" A lady came forward almost instantly. There was never an apology for my wait, or any comment regarding the fact I literally had to embarrass myself by yelling out to be assisted in checking on to receive my key.

Our room was clean, but the service was horrible! Check-in clerk was rude, same as the morning of check out..no breakfast was available, and when we tried to file a complaint, the clerk just ealked away, no one was talk to any of the customers! No breakfast, there were families and couples alike that were very upset, and there was no excuse given, and no refund or discounted room was offered! Very disappointed! We will NOT be back!

Lack of management! NO ONE AT THE Front desk...they 'hide out' behind the front desk...both in the evening(check in) and in the AM. Trash can full, liter in the parking lot...just no one cares. The 'bones' of the property are OK with possibility but without someone with 'boots on the ground' this place will only go one way...down.

First of all....when we arrived from Florida around 2pm I was informed that the only way we can check in early(1 hour early) was to pay 25$. Or wait 30 mins in the car and then check in at 230. Ok so we get checked in and enter our room. There was small pieces of marijuana on the counter and tobacco in the toilet. I went and told the front desk....she said ok I'll talk to them. Didn't offer to switch rooms or anything.

Checkin was nowhere close to friendly. The gentleman was rude and didn’t reply to requests in a very helpful manner. Twice I had to make a request a second time just to get a reply. When I requested a top floor room (because my husband is an extremely light sleeper) he just replied “No”. I would have understood if none were available but he didn’t bother with any kind of reason. I was given a room number but nothing like a card key sleeve to note it as a reminder. It seemed like there was one maintenance problem after another. First, there was a very strong smell of cleansers in both the lobby area and our room. They had duct tape holding elevator tiles in place. There were really gross carpet stains in the hallway. The Wi-fi was totally unsecured and slow as molasses. In our room: -closet door was off its track -shower room door wouldn’t close because it ran into the toilet -toilet had a wooden wedge under the base (holding in the right position?) -long screws sticking out of the base of the toilet -ceiling drywall looked like it was close to falling loose in the shower area -there were several small holes in sheets Overall, we our stay was not comfortable and we didn’t feel anywhere near safe. We won’t stay here again if we’re in the area.
Checkin was nowhere close to friendly. The gentleman was rude and didn’t reply to requests in a very helpful manner. Twice I had to make a request a second time just to get a reply. When I requested a top floor room (because my husband is an extremely light sleeper) he just replied “No”. I would have understood if none were available but he didn’t bother with any kind of reason. I was given a room number but nothing like a card key sleeve to note it as a reminder. It seemed like there was one maintenance problem after another. This was a last minute reservation on our way home from a vacation. They were very friendly. It’s an older building and rooms may be dated but they were clean. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises! My mom had their Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast and she says it was GOOD!!! Really good!!!

Dirty, run down, false advertisement, no breakfast provided. Manager would not take any responsibility to accommodate several complaining guests who came down at 6 am for breakfast as confirmed by staff who checked us in. Horrible tiny pillows and lack of lighting.

It had an indoor pool, which was fun for the kids. Also, breakfast was great, they had scrambled and boiled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, Waffles, bread, cereal and juice. I was very impressed. Slight smell in the hotel and we couldn't get our tv to work, but overall it was great.

The motel was really run down and needs to be renovated. We would not stay there again. They really need to improve their breakfast. The coffee machine was broken, so no coffee We had to ask for forks. There was a juice machine, but no orange juice. The food was not fresh. Disappointing.

Nice clean room, very comfortable bed. Easy access to I-24. Friendly staff. The included breakfast was appreciated, but typical fare. Pancake grill, sausage, powdered eggs, and instant coffee machine. Good value.

Staff was nice but had to wait at desk while outside smoking. Wi-Fi not working. They tried to reset and then sent me back to my room but promised to call when they tried to reset again. Never called. Breakfast was out of most items. Cook was very polite and tried to get food refilled upon request. All food was microwaved. Coffee was watered down, tasted like needed fresh grounds.
