Super 8 by Wyndham Paducah I-24 Exit 4

Appears to have been recently renovated. Front desk staff was professional and courteous. Room was clean and nice sized. Shower had good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast was standard fare with lots of "grab and go" items which was great. SPECIAL NOTE - parking lot is truck and trailer friendly for those not traveling by car. A little off the beaten path but worth the drive. Will keep this on list for this area when traveling.

This property has been completely redone and remodeled to excellent standards! This is not just new paint, it has new walls, new high quality doors and windows, new beds, completely new bathrooms with new, very modern fixtures! It was like staying in a brand new motel! It kept some of the things that are so convenient, like parking right outside your room door instead of having to haul your stuff in a main door and walk down long hallways. It was clean and quiet with new, comfortable mattresses! Cannot rate this place high enough! Oh! …And it is just off I-24 so a quick and efficient place to stay if you are just stopping for the night, Also, if you have time to spare there is a huge, beautiful park right across the street!

The place was under construction, the whole first floor was unusable so we (seniors) had to carry our luggage up stairs-no elevator, and handrails were filthy. No headboard on the bed so pillows keep falling off the bed. Spiderwebs in bathroom with a live spider.

This is an older motel with outside entry to rooms, you don’t have to drag bags far. It has been recently renovated and is very clean.

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. Being unfamiliar with an area, you just never know til you get there. Our room was very nice, up to date, clean and comfortable. We were on the second floor, and there is no elevator, but we handled it ok for two old ladies. We would stay there again. Breakfast was more of a grab and go which worked for us. Parking lot was well lit. It was located closed to everything we needed. Bed was super comfy including the pillows. Thanks for making our stay work out well.

This was an old-style hotel where you can park outside your room. Well mantained.

While the room has benefited from the standard upgrades - paint, all new fixtures and furniture, there was still carpet - apparently the source of a smell that was some combination of dirty feet, wet dog, and chemical. The A/C unit struggled to get the room down to the desired temperature (70 degrees.) The property needs to be cleaned up and a brand sign installed.

One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Customer service was great as well.

You will see the very reasonable price and ask yourself if the place might be shabby and dirty... NOPE! It is sparkling clean!! The desk attendant was so friendly and warm, even at midnight. The breakfast room had a very good variety. Honestly, I don't think I have ever stayed in a cleaner hotel room! Great price and a great room

The one staff member we interacted with was very nice. Property has recently been updated and was well done. Had good WiFi if you scan the QR code and enter the password. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC unit worked well but was rather loud. Nice TV, fridge (no freezer compartment) and microwave. Liked that there was a mechanism to hold the door to the room open so it’s easier to bring your things in/out. Everything was clean….. but when I wiped the tile floor in the bathroom with a towel to clean up some water that got on the floor when we showered…, the towel was dirty and when I wore my tennis shoes on the tile floor my shoes stuck a little bit. Maybe the use a swifter on the tile which leaves a residue-?. Overall we were happy with the cleanliness. Plenty of parking. Can walk to a nice park as well as a little bbq place, pizza and Dairy Queen. There is also a bowling alley next door. Breakfast area was small and the fabric chairs were stained but otherwise it was clean and a decent spread-bagels, bread, muffins, prepackaged bars, 3 types of cereal and milk, packages of oatmeal, (name brand) yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit cups etc. There was an orange juice machine but it was out of the “orange”. Had a coffee machine and selection of creamers and sweeteners. Would stay there again on our travels.

We stayed at several hotels during our trip and this was by far the cleanest one. Only issue was the door deadbolt lock did not work and you could see a gap around the door indicating it did not fit well in the opening. We stayed two nights at this hotels both different times. Both doors had the same problem.

Traffic noise, guest noise

DO NOT RECOMMEND! After 12 hours of driving our family stopped to stay for the night. I had stayed at this Super 8 previously and felt like it was a good option. When we got unloaded and into the room I closed the door and latched the top lock. The next morning I took something to the car, but when pulling the door shut I realized the electric lock/door handle didn’t work. This is a major safety issue that I wish I’d noticed the night before. But it’s definitely something housekeeping should have noticed at a minimum. Will not stay here again.

Simple, quiet room. No frills. Wifi was weak but otherwise it was uneventful stay. I would stay here again.

All was great but couldn’t work from room cause the internet didn’t work and I asked 3 times and gave up because nothing they said worked . Other then that all was great

The property was good and staff friendly. We were in room 222 and door did not seal when closed. You could see the outside light and it took several hours for room to cool down. Went to gas station behind property, it was dirty and seemed sketchy. The "Pizza Inn" across the street from hotel was a good pizza buffet for a good price.

Young man who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The old man next day was extremely rude, refused to provide additional towels despite it being a two night stay. Said we’d have to show the old towels first. Our do not disturb sign was removed from door and vanished, but then bed not made or anything tidied. Just trash taken. Was supposed to be non smoking room but bathroom stunk strongly of weed from neighbors and poor ventilation.

The ratings for this hotel on hotels.com are overinflated: it doesn't deserve 9/10! Maybe 7 or 7.5. There was a rude gentleman (maybe one of the owners) who yelled at me for taking several breakfast items to my room for my daughter and wife. Orange juice in the dispenser machine was very diluted - seemed like 20% juice and 80% water.

I got there last night to check in, and the front desk person took forever to check me in. He didn’t seem to know what he was doing. He coukdnt seem to find my reservation. He eventually found it, but checked us into the wrong room. It had one king bed. There are 4 of us, I had booked a room with two queens. He did move us into a different room with 2 queens. I think he was very unprofessional.

Staff was inattentive at the front desk. Yes, I had a pretty late check in, but I ended up having to call their number to get any kind of answer. Still, that's my worst complaint. Everything else was exceptional, so would stay again.

We were charged twice by this property. We tried to explain to desk staff that we booked and paid on Expedia, but she didn’t seem to understand and insisted there was a problem with our check in. She called the manager and the problem seemed to be resolved but later in the evening we realized that the property charged us for the stay. The next morning we spoke with the manager about the charge and he assured us that it would be removed, but has not been removed yet. We called again today (Monday) to try to get the charge dropped and, so far, it hasn’t been. Very poor communication with the staff at this hotel, as they don’t seem to know that the room was already paid for despite us showing the receipt and confirmation number. Disappointing.

2 miles off I24, easy to find.

Not located in the best neighborhood, but for an inexpensive, clean motel, it works and it's convenient to plenty of restaurants, stores, the interstate, historic downtown and the Convention Ctr.

Very quiet and well maintained facility. Very slightly iffy for a woman traveling alone (check cashing and a bar next door), but I never felt any real danger. Nice park across the road and very convenient to both downtown and Interstate.

Clean, quiet room. Friendly staff. No odd smells in the room. Clean bedding. Instant coffee for breakfast - not the greatest. Limited breakfast - it would be nice to have a bit more fresh fruit and non-GMO packaged pastries. Nice park across the street with walking trail. Convenient location. Best Super 8 I have been to.

The hotel is not in a good area. Outside entrances. Not close to amenities.

Great for a sleep stop, unsure of neighborhood, kind of deserted. Breakfast minimal but price was right.

On the plus side, for a Super 8 it was extremely clean. Front desk attendant was very kind and helpful. Parking lot is well lit. Cold breakfast was provided with lots of choices. On the down side, Walls are pretty thin as you could hear the people talking next door. Surrounding area is not the best but we had no issues. Traffic is very loud.

It was nice to see that the family who ran the hotel took great pride in running it. My room was very clean, the Halls were clean, and everyone was friendly. Two brothers and what I believe to be a sister or cousin. Very nice people. There is some foot traffic that goes by the hotel, but just like any high traffic area, don't make conversation, and there probably won't be a conversation. So I had no problems.

Old area of town but very nice

After pulling off the highway and booking the room through Hotels.com, I discovered that the hotel was 3 miles from the interstate. At first I was irritated because after driving for 14 hours, I was exhausted and just wanted to fall into bed. However, it turned out to be a good thing because it was so quiet and allowed me to sleep soundly without the typical highway sounds. The curtains are blackout - and they did the job! The bed was comfortable, the room was spotless and smelled clean, the heater/AC unit was quiet, the desk clerk was extremely friendly, and the free breakfast bar had many more choices than I've seen at other motels. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

All was good . The breakfast was not great cold grave and the biscuits were hard. The front door had a big crack s you hear everything and bugs can come in.

The rooms were newly remodeled and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, however, was a little disappointing. No eggs or protein and eating area was unusually small.

After reading previous reveiws I expected a pretty processed breakfast. It was full of packaged goods such as ding dongs and twinkies. But, our check in was smooth. The young man greeted me with exceptional customer service skills. Gave clear and concise directions. Water pressure and quality was wonderful. It is outside entry, but i felt safe the entire duration.

Hotel was clean & in good shape, breakfast left a lot to be desired. Very few items left @ 8:30am, all (3) tables were taken by people all appearing to be talking to each other. So we left and grabbed breakfast at Bob Evan’s. Overall would stay again.

Was last minute trip. Was very clean. Location was convenient, check in was easy. Breakfast was very basic. Cereal, bagels, fruit, etc. Very pleased overall.

I would’ve given 5 stars as it was very nicely renovated and clean inside and out, with a great price overall. However, we had an early morning and were looking forward to a quick bite to eat at the breakfast that was advertised opening at 6am when we paid for the place. At 6:20am, the breakfast room was still locked up/lights off though and our family checked out pretty hungry and disappointed.

Checked in late at night and the gentlemen was very professional and polite. Breakfast selection was very good.
