We spent only one night at the Hotel Indigo, but the friendly staff and luxurious setting just minutes from the heart of Charleston will have us returning. Our room was clean and spacious. The restaurant and bar were excellent. The multiple pools outside were lovely. Perfect place to stay when visiting this fun city.

I was only here for one night but it was a quick drive to the historic area of town, City Market, etc. Really easily accessible off 17. Super clean. The pool area is fantastic! Lots of different spaces with outdoor games, covered seating, towels...the ONLY thing missing is a hot tub! The bartender Thursday night was friendly and great at her job. I hope all IHG hotels are this good.

Nice lobby and pool/ patio area. The rooms are very basic and there were some strands of hair on the bathroom floor when we checked in, making us question if the room had truly been cleaned and sanitized.

The hotel pool and bar is the only positive. When we arrived in our room the window was so filthy that we couldn’t see out of it. It looked like a dog or a child had licked all over it. I asked the front desk to send someone to clean it and no one ever came. Even during service overnight it was not cleaned. There were no mattress covers and two of our pillow cases had holes in them. Would not recommend!!!

The reason we didn’t like this stay was because it was unbelievably unsanitary. Their was a towel, pillowcase, and bedding all stained with what looked like dry blood. There was also a lot hair in the bedding when we first pulled back the covers in addition to the dry blood, leading us to believe it wasn’t changed with clean bedding or all new towels. The tub had pink mold growing in it and was completely clogged with tissue or toilet paper. In hindsight we should’ve called a manager, but the people pleaser in me was afraid to. I did however take several pictures. We definitely will not be staying with Indigo again.

Front desk staff were very nice! We couldn’t find the manager when we tried switching rooms. I understand that this is a boutique hotel but our room and a bathroom was extremely small!! Maybe it would be ok for one person but for a family of 3 no way!! I feel like staff did an amazing job keeping everything clean. Interior definitely needs some work, and toilet with bathtub had a lot of dints and scratches. The main door had a huge opening underneath (had to use a towel to block out the noise) FYI if you want to get some sleep…. Yeah that’s not gonna happen!! The walls are not soundproof and you will definitely hear people in the hallway.

I would say the best part of this hotel is the pol and patio and definitely a great location. The windows were all forged up and couldn’t see out and the water doesn’t drain very well from the tub or toilet causing us to switch rooms.

I had a horrible view from my room overlooking the roof! The room was nice. I enjoyed the pool and the bar. Had some loud kids in the room next to me but that can happen anywhere! Overall it was good and I would stay again. I would just request a room without the roof view. I usually stay at Harborside but it was fully booked and happy I found this hotel. It was less expensive and a good value!

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo! From the moment we arrived, Rory at the front desk made us feel incredibly welcome. He was so kind, thoughtful, and personable, the kind of person who truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Great location, execellent service. Elizas, the restaurant on site is fantastic. One particular server Lashonda is a gem! She is attentive, friendly, and efficient. I would most certainly stay again. The hotel staff are efficient, proactive and friendly. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.

They called me 10 minutes before i arrived . i was late getting to location. They had given my room away. Said unexpected stay over by previous guest. This meant the knew at Check out but did not contact me until 9:40 pm . TRAVELER BEWARE! I was traveling with co workers and i had to go to a sister property. In 30 years of traveling for work , never experienced this .

We loved Hotel Indigo! The location is perfect and convenient to everything. The pool was amazing and a nice refresher on a hot day. The restaurant is were we had issues, staff just seemed to not really care. I refilled my coffee several times and waited for over 20 mins just for a basic breakfast. I don’t mean to sound petty but, at a rate of $62 for breakfast for 3 people, I think the restaurant staff should at least crack a smile or refill our drinks. Other than that, we loved it. We chose to eat breakfast out the next days we were there so we didn’t have to almost annoy the wait staff to ask for anything.

My wife and I always stay at the Indigo hotel when we visit Charleston.The front staff are always friendly and accommodating. The location of this hotel is convenient for us since we love to go to both historic downtown Charleston and also Isle of palms beach and also other places..so this hotel is centrally located in that you can easily jump on the highway and get to these places in less than 20 minutes (dependent on traffic/rush hour,etc.).Plus the pool is heated and designed nicely for leisure!!! They also have a large and well lighted parking lot which always feels comfortable and secure. The rooms are always clean and the beds are really comfortable.

Great pool but not heated and rather cold. At least heat the small pool. A hot tub would be an asset to this place. Bar drinks good, but extortionate price. Food mediocre and overpriced. Breakfast menu ridiculous price, stingy portions and lacking items many people want, such as cereal, yogurt. How about a yogurt, fruit and granola bowl? This hotel charges far too much for everything. Even charges a mandatory large and extra fee for use of pool and water spigot. Some people don't use these facilities, and they should be included in the room rate not charging extra. It's a nice hotel, but a ripoff

The hotel location was great and convenient to Charleston. It was clean and well kept. Staff were friendly yet could be better informed to offer suggestions for dinner and other activities but a few tried. Generally satisfied except with room served. Stayed 4 days. 3 nights and room was never cleaned. We set out around 10Am reinforced around 4 or 5 and need and bans were not made/ cleaned. I sent message after 1st day letting them know our schedule and was told it would be cleaned but next day the same thing. It was nearly six when they came to check but we were getting ready for dinner so just got towels again. There were no door tags for room service only do not disturb which we did not use. That said, I'd go back and just be sure to ask for room service.

The hotel looks like it has a jacuzzi but it’s not a jacuzzi. They also charge you 18 dollars a day to heat the pool and too drink free warm water. I think the pool is just heated from the sun it doesn’t feel heated to me. We were disappointed with all extra charges that come with the hotel.
