They ran out of cream cheese for the bagels, and the pancake maker was broken. The pool was a little murky. Other than that it was great. Staff was very nice.

The only problem was that they had out of town workers that would park there work trucks up near the hotel and as a paying customer there would be no place to park. There was plenty of parking at the back of the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Clean comfortable room. Pool area is very nice. Room has so many extras. Very accommodating.

It was standard experience as I would expect from Holliday Inn. Clean and updated rooms. Gym was equipped with very basic equipments - can be improved by just furnishing additional equipment

For the most part it was great. Only issue really was one of the two elevators stopped working, no control over that.

Good except the pool was closed even after weather past.

We stay here every time we visit Charleston. Great location. Great fitness room!

Overall this hotel is fine. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is good and the price is excellent! Breakfast offerings were standard and met our needs. The parking lot could be a little bigger to fit the number of guests. Our room needed updated and a good clean. The bathroom was a bit gross. These two reasons brought down the review rating.

This hotel is a great location to stay in Mount Pleasant, SC. This hotel is conveniently located to shopping and Isle of Palms beaches. The parking lot has plentiful spaces. The hotel is well maintained. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

I really liked this property. Very clean and quiet. Nice pool but we did not have access to the pool during our stay it was unfortunately closed. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner we found numerous strands of hair in the bathroom. Great options for breakfast it was really good and not continental. I only have one complaint I reserved the room under my name and my credit card. We arrived a little early and my husband went to see if our room was ready and it was. I was preparing to come in to give my id and cc but my husband came out with the room keys. He was not at all on the reservation. I felt that was unsafe luckily I’m in a great marriage but if I was not this could’ve been bad. Security measures should be a lot better when checking someone in.

The room was not very clean. Hairs on the floor in the bathroom and stuck to the shower walls, crumbs and small garbage around bed areas.

The only issue we experienced was that the shower had pink bacteria growing in the corners. Not acceptable if housekeeping does their job correctly.

Hotel is very convenient to Isle of Palms and lots of food and shopping in Mt. Pleasant. The room needed a good deep clean. There was dirt and build up in the bathroom, crumbs and food left on the seat, and food still in the fridge from the previous guests. Besides some old stains on the comforter the towels and linens were clean. Overall I would not recommend this place.

The property was clean and attractive. The staff were helpful and friendly. This also felt like a very safe area. We were just minutes to Charleston, the beach, and any type of shopping or restaurant we wanted. Breakfast was always decent.

We have stayed at this location in the past and always had a good experience. This time, however, the room had an extremely musty odor and the shower was filled with mold. Will probably not stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and breakfast was great but my room was musty and dusty. The couch had a stain on it that I cleaned off with a wet rag and the smell of the bedding was awful. For $250 per night, I expected way more.

We're happy we found the Holiday Inn Express because it's close to relatives in the area. HI was very clean and fresh looking. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was the best we found on our way to and from Florida.

Pros: Great location. Bright and clean lobby decor. Clean entryway. Courteous front desk. The room itself was large. Comfortable beds and pillows. Cons: The dust choking the air conditioning unit was visible and just gross. I have allergies to dust and dander and this was such an obvious dirty thing. I used a washcloth to wipe the slats and pulled off chunks of dust. The ledge above our king bed obviously didn’t get dusted recently either as it had a thick layer of dust as well. The light surrounding the bathroom mirror was broken. The alarm clock was broken. The stopper in the sink was broken. My husband pried it up so the water would drain and put a cocktail stirrer from the coffee station to keep it open so the water would drain. There weren’t enough towels or wash clothes for four people (the amount the room could sleep). The bunk beds didn’t have blankets. I checked the dresser drawers for any spares. Empty. I had to go downstairs for towels, wash clothes and blankets for a one night stay. The air conditioner unit was super loud! Like a broken airplane engine grinding all night. Oh and as I leaned down to spit out my toothpaste brushing my teeth I see tiny dark hairs on the ledge of the bathroom sink under the mirror where the light is broken. It looked like a guy had shaved his face with an electric razor and the hairs went everywhere and didn’t get wiped up before our visit. The overall cleanliness is very disappointing. We would probably not stay here again.

Room was very nice and modern. Had the extra sofa/ couch option if you need it.

Large rooms

We could not get the AC on in our room. The front desk a remote was needed but nowhere to be found. It would be a good idea to keep an extra remote for such situations.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was outstanding, and the outdoor mall and shopping were in walking distance and had a lot of unique shops.

Overall good stay. Water pressure was poor. Also, I don’t like when you have selected to pay at the hotel, and the front desk chooses to run your card prior to checking in. Misrepresentation

The room smelled of cheap disinfectant and the bed was very uncomfortable, Id of slept better on the floor as the bed was so hard. Both of my shoulders are still in pain from trying to sleep on it. Im still very tired from the experience

After consulting the front desk staff, they gave us the number for a help desk to solve the problem. By then, it was not worth the effort. On the positive side, the room was large, clean and everything worked. Will not be staying there again!!

The room was a great size! The only complaint would be the bed was lumpy.

This was one of the most disappointing hotels I have ever experienced. First, the room was advertised as sleeping 6. 1 King Bed and 2 bunk beds. I called to get clarification on whether the room did indeed have 2 bunk buds, the gentleman I spoke with did not speak English well but confirmed the room slept 6. We arrived at 11pm after a 12 hour drive and discovered the room only had 1 bunk bed and 1 King bed- which would sleep 4 people. Front desk was not any help and said there were no other rooms, I would have just rented a 2nd room or 2 rooms at a different property. There were no cots or extra blankets and pillows available. 2 adults, a teen and child had to sleep in the King bed. It was an awful night. To top it off the room smelled like cigarettes and the shower had mold in it. I asked for the manager to contact me, but never received a call.

Grocery store and big box store in the neighborhood. Moving Holiday Inn onto my shortlist for future vacation stays.

The worst example of customer service I can remember in a long time. Check in was delayed due lack of cleaning help and the little girl left in charge to share the delay was ill equipped to disseminate this information. I.E. rude, never offering ( probably not knowing how ) to offer an apology. This was a pleasure trip, and I traveled for business over 40 years and this was one of the worst experiences I can remember. I will probably discontinue using 3rd party reservation sites and deal directly with properties!

Staff was very professional and helpful, however when we arrived my room was given to another customer. I was there at approximately 4 pm.

They are understaffed and the first experience I had with a staff member was not good. The second girl was so sweet but she had no help..

Conveniently right off of Rte 17 and restaurant w/i walking distance. Staff very courteous and breakfast was well done.

It was safe and convenient

I liked how close all the restaurants were and how close the beach was.

I book a suite and I got a regular room. Too many people at breakfast and not enough tables to eat.

Great breakfast. Staff was excellent and the room was cleaned every day. We had a great time.

The hotel itself was a fine: nice people at front desk, comfortable bed, good shower, clean room. However the free breakfast was sub-par and ran out of food early both days during our stay. Coffee so-so but nice that they had decaf and tea.
