Nicely decorated room. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pool was closed which was disappointing. Also the bathroom in our room was very cold.

It was our first time staying at the Hilton Brighton. We have family that lives here so use lots of different ways to stay. This time we wanted a hotel with a swimming pool. We would rate everything 5 stars apart from the fact the pool was out of use. We did however use it after check out, but then we didn’t have towels. They didn’t have any in the health club. I also think they reuse the towels in health club when busy. Eek :(

Hotel staffs were accommodating and nice. Room is nice and modern but it gets slightly warm, unable to turn on aircon. pool area is outdated. unsafe as no lifeguards on duty. changing rooms was not the cleanest.

Busy hotel. Great location but a little confusing layout. Parking expensive but on site. Large comfortable room with excellent shower and aircon. Nice pool / spa if a little busy. Phone in room didn’t work. Great breakfast.

Beautiful hotel but I booked it for the pool and that was too crowded. Reception gave me the feedback that that is what I should expect at the weekend. However, I booked the expensive hotel with the pool so that I could use the pool. Otherwise I would have booked the less expensive hotel and also not had a swim. Either their pre-booking process isn't restrictive enough or all the regular gym member punters need to be restricted at the weekends.

Beautiful hotel and large room with balcony and direct sea view. However, advertising ‘car park availability’ is grossly misleading. There is no counting in/out so you have no idea if there is a space available. Then driving around with very limited manoeuvring room is stressful and more in hope than expectation. Many cars driving around and then leaving with no space available. Anything larger than a small hatchback risks coming in contact with pillars, high kerbs and other parked vehicles. My Audi Q4 was too big for safe manoevring and was damaged in the process.

There was hair on the shower tray Few sweets behind the door And very upset as I had said it was my husbands 40th birthday and I was told that either we would get room upgrade (but was happy with what room I selected so was told they can do a little some in the room for him) this didn’t happen either, if I had known this I would. have done something my self for him in the room. Very disappointed. Also the lady on the desk said she would call us yesterday and we still have t heard anything.

Bathroom want cleaned properly, pretentious occupants shavings were all over the sink area. Gross!! It was a warm night, the air con want working, the duvet was far too warm for the weather which made a very bad night's sleep.

The hotel was in a good position. It was well maintained, everywhere was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful, they really went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed. It’s the only hotel I have ever stayed in that the staff all seemed genuinely happy to work there. It was very quiet at night, not the usual banging doors. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, everything was well cook and of good quality. I stayed with 3 friends, if we ever go back to Brighton we will certainly stay there again.

We just booked the standard room which was quite expensive £180 but for a Hilton I expected a bigger room. Tiny room looking out onto the worst view of a flat roof and pipes. A little disappointing. In the morning we realised we had no bath towels at all. Rang house keeping but took 20 mins to get them to us and my husband was using a hand towel to fry himself . When I asked the housekeeper cleaning rooms opposite I’d she could provide me with towels she said no!!!! You are not my room and was quite annoyed I’d asked. Very rude. No what I expect from a Hilton . The common areas are very lovely and rooms are decorated also very well.

Had a nice stay at the Metropol in Brighton. Family of 4 on sixth floor with sea view. It isn’t advertised but the pool is not to be used by kids before 9am and after 6pm so watch that. The windows were droughty and couldn’t be fully closed tightly. In the last night a strong wind was pounding the windows all night and blew cold wind into the room which wasn’t great. Also being a sea view there is also the main road just down below. Motorbike have a habit of racing off the traffic lights! The fam loved the buffet breakfast and tbh it was better than that offered by the Grand in Brighton :-) Bed was comfortable although a little hard and the bathroom sink had a crack in it though completely usable. Would we stay there again? Probably as it was pretty good value for Brighton

Lovely big room with a big comfy bed & a balcony overlooking the seafront, West Pier & i360 The reception team were efficient & helpful & the staff in the bar & restaurant were great - especially those handling the busy breakfast session with cheer & speed!

Lovely hotel perfectly positioned for the Brighton Centre which was our reason for visiting. Rooms and bathrooms were on the small side but we were not in there much. Breakfast queues were huge so we ate at the Regency restaurant which we would highly recommend.

The room we had was beautiful, I got exactly what i requested and booked, a suite with a balcony and sea view. They have really comfortable beds and linen, the only thing that let my experience down was the fact that there is no mini fridge in the room, and also if you are not a Hilton honors member you have to pay for the internet. Otherwise my experience was good, check in and check out was seamless. Location is right in the heart of Brighton, so much to see, eat and do, I would definitely recommend and I intend to return at some point.

Check-in was incredibly slow. We tried to check-in early but we’re asked to return at 4pm at which point the queue was out the door! We returned twice over the next two hours to find the queue just as long. Eventually we bit the bullet and queued for around 40mins. Otherwise the hotel was all fine. Staff friendly, food good, room clean etc.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Everything and the view from our room overlooking the beach was great! And the service we received from Joanne (Front Office) was so amazing! She even went out of her way to call us to let us know that our room was ready! Amazing customer service provided by her from check in to check out the following morning!

We were really excited to come stay to celebrate my wife’s birthday and booking the Hilton we were hoping for a great trip. Sadly we were really let down by the hotel. First off check in was insane and we needed to queue for nearly an hour. While I was at the front of the queue two other women pushed to the front and the staff did nothing and served them. The lady who was then serving me left me to go assist the ladies who pushed in. I was stood there for 10 minutes waiting for assistance. On a more positive note after the disaster of check in the room was lovely however the WiFi available in our room was incredibly poor and kept on dropping. Our final issue was breakfast where the food was fairly poor compared to other Hilton’s we generally stay in. Location is great and the room was lovely but unfortunately the issues left a sour taste after the stay.

Thank you all at Brighton Metropole!.. Excellent check in with Minty. Fast, efficient, cookies! Room all ready by 3.30. King size room very spacious/ clean Hallways clean, smells nice, quiet Overall, very quiet hotel. No disturbance whatsoever and I slept v well. Hotel bar staff also excellent/ friendly with good service, keeping an eye on customers needs. Food came within 20 mins. Only negative is the Wellness centre. One famiky changing room otherwise only X2 women's toilets. Also, you need to bring your own padlock for locker. Overall a fantastic stay

The hotel was in a good position. It was well maintained, everywhere was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. I booked the hotel because it had a swimming pool but when i arrived there was a poster notifying customers that it was closed for maintenance. As this was a key factor for my stay it would have been nice to have been notified in advance. I paid over £500 for 2 nights for a sea view room but did not get a balcony. Unless you join the Hilton Honours scheme you cannot get free wifi. It costs £12.99 per day which I think is greedy. I didnt join on principle because i had already paid a lot of money for a basic room which i believe should have covered wifi access. I dont agree that customers should be treated differently depending on having membership or not.

My stay was marred by appalling room service , “pizza & side salad” was completely inedible, the hoops I had to jump through to feed this back and eventually get a refund was ridiculous and completely marred my whole stay. I spent hundreds of pounds in the bar & restaurant during my stay but the appalling room service and then after service from the F&B mgr has tainted my whole experience.

I booked a queen size room and was dismayed with the room and bed size. You could argue I got what I paid for but I can’t emphasise how small both were. Also, the gap between the end of the bed and the desk was minimal to say the least. and two light bulbs and the extractor fan in the bathroom was broken. I paid a premium for this hotel and was very disappointed with it. Oh and also the pool was out of order. When I complained about the room being nothing like the photos I was told by what appeared to be a very unsympathetic front desk employee, that the photos were just stock pictures. I was offered an upgrade but I was charged £30 for it, given that the room had functional equipment issues and was basically a box room I was very dissatisfied. The room I was upgraded too was much better and despite being told the bed was the same size, it absolutely wasn’t. It was about 6 inches wider, thank god. Another thing was breakfast- no working coffee machines on the first morning which is frankly unacceptable in my view. The basics are very important and this hotel fell below par. I paid a premium to stay here and felt it was a waste of money. Overall I would not go back to stay at this hotel, there are far cheaper alternatives where I have stayed previously, which were better than this experience.

Just stayed overnight. Nice hotel in great location. Only ten minute walk to the lanes or old part of Brighton. We paid for an upgrade to our room and got a larger bed thankfully. The room was nice and clean. Had everything except a fridge. When we first checked in reception was very busy about 9 people waiting for only two staff - they were doing their best. We parked our car in the car park for £24 which was fine but the spaces are very tight for large cars. Had breakfast there which was standard but the pastries and croissants were stale. The coffee machine served cold latte.
