Hotel was very clean and staff lovely. Breakfast was disappointing. Poached eggs overdone and not great bread. Lift was out of action which meant using the stairs. You can hear voices clearly in adjacent room. Lovely sea view.

The lift has been out of action for some time due to a major fault , we were e mailed twice before our arrival to warn us of this. Brilliant communication , as we both are able bodied it was not an issue , as we were on the 5th floor the manager insisted he took our luggage up to the room and apologised about the lift issue which we already knew . A very nice breakfast, we will stay there again.

The dining room is closed on the evenings but they are happy for you to order food from the internet to be delivered to the bar, they will give you plates cutlery etc. While you enjoy a drink.

Second time we’ve stayed here due to it being close to amenities. Staff are lovely and friendly. Rooms are also nice and have everything you need. Only thing that lets it down is the car park, never any spaces and you’ll have to reverse out through a very tight space if you can’t get parked.

Good hotel ,quite dated but clean and comfortable. Quite a way out ftom central Brighton but good value for money and a good breakfast served. Car park quite small, so first come basis.

A really comfortable stay. The room was extremely clean, with everything fully operational and in good condition. The hotel is in a great location, with a quick walk to the Hove end of the beach, which I'd recommend as it's quieter and far from the crazy weekend crowds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We opted out of the breakfast, preferring to make the short walk along the seafront to a beachside restaurant where the full English breakfast was £4 cheaper and from local ingredients. No sea view for us but that didn't matter, as it was quieter not overlooking the main street and seafront. Take note of comments regarding the car park - we were in a large SUV and grabbing a space you can get in and out of without stress is no joke. We left the car there for our stay and Ubered into town for about £10, but there's a bus stop literally outside, serviced by the 700 route and is very regular. We would not hesitate to stay here again. It was a very affordable choice in comparison with other Brighton hotels, and preferable to others closer to Brighton centre that have noisy bars outside. Definitely a winner.

Lovely hotel very clean and lovely beds and bathroom.. staff are very friendly especially the young lady behind bar and the night porter Dave! Wealth of knowledge and took time to sit and chat! Would definitely recommend

Excellent customer service and support. We were upgraded to a Seaview Room with lovely views over the sea. Room is clean and so are the amenities provided. The room attendant is excellent. She’s so polite and work so efficiently. Throughly enjoyable stay.

Hotel a little dated but room spotlessly clean. Shower not the best and we had a poor night's sleep as the room was next to the lift which was very noisy. Location perfect, easy 20 min walk into Brighton. Fabulous breakfast, cooked to order. Friendly staff.

Very clean and tidy room. Spacious room and bathroom. The only downside was that the shower wasnt very powerful and the top pillow was a little lumpy. Overall though, very nice and comfortable

Nice hotel with parking a bonus. Friendly accommodating staff. Room was nice and clean. Plenty of tea and coffee etc. Nice food in the restaurant. Bar person was lovely as was the waiter and the chef. Drinks at the bar not over expensive. Bus stop right outside so easy to get into town.

Room is comfortable and has all essential amenities. The flow of shower has only one speed which was a little bit too strong for me. I was on the top floor which has very nice view overlooking the town. However, WIFI connection was VERY POOR so that I can only use for emails without any attachment. WIFI in the lobby doesn't have the same issue so I believe it was due to the location of room. The hotel's parking was full when I arrived but the street parking nearby are free after 8pm so wasn't an issue.

Great short break in an executive room. Room was clean, modern and comfortable although this particular room was quite small. We have had rooms much bigger executive rooms when we stayed in the past in this hotel. we still had a nice time!

Location and staff perfect, unfortunately felt it wasn't worth the price , it was a warm weekend in May and the room was unbearable at times even with a balcony door open, we did have a fan in the room but didn't really make any difference, not somewhere I would want to stay in the heat of summer!. No fridge in the room was a bit disappointing and only mugs to drink out of. Some bottled water would of been a welcome touch as warm bathroom water was not the one. Can't fault the helpful and welcoming staff and the view from our balcony was beautiful.

I was generally pleased with my room - it was clean and comfortable. I found the loo flush button hard to push down though. I was also woken up quite a few times on a couple of nights as doors were being slammed loudly, for some reason. I found the staff to be courteous and friendly.

I paid extra for a room with a view of the ocean and I'm glad I did. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. The bed in room 13 was very comfortable. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, kettle in the room which was replenished every day. It's not an ultra-modern hotel but everything was spotlessly clean and in good condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The hotel is in Hove, about 2 miles west of Brighton, and it was nice being in a quieter area. There is a 700 bus stop right outside the hotel to get into/back from Brighton center. There are also other buses two roads up that take you all over the area. You can buy an all day bus pass for £6 that let's you explore the area by bus very affordably. If I returned to Brighton, I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. It was great to have the availability of free parking, although this is on a first come first served basis. Our only issue was very noisy pipes during the night which made sleep quite difficult. The view from our room looked out to sea which was great. Plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walk.

Lovely room on 5th floor with sea view and balcony. My room was very hot and there was no a/c that I could see. There is only one lift however and it is very slow....when I stay again ( and I will ) I would forego the view and the balcony to be on the ground or first floor which was cooler.

The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. I appreciated being able to leave luggage and was able to check in a bit early after a long flight. The room was quiet, except for the sound of the sea; clean, comfortable and offered all the essentials.

Great! Lovely friendly staff with a genuinely warm welcome. I could tell that the staff in the restaurant knew some of the clientele from their stay by their conversations. Im sure it's those personal touches that make a difference when choosing a hotel. In my experience Best Western are great at choosing the the right staff that give great customer care.

Nightmare!! Staying for two nights and both nights were horrible! We were woken up by a group of men early morning around 5am. And that time, they were drinking beers at the front of the hotel which is just below our room on the first floor, I called the reception and asked him if he can speak to them and keep the noise down and he response was that they are night shift workers. (There is no excuses for that!) but we’re not even sure if he is actually spoke to them, as the noise level didn’t change. Very disappointing and we will never stay here again. And also as we paid extra for the sea view and this is what we get what a joke!

We order food from the restaurant at around 9.30pm to have in the room. We were told there would be slight delay due to a large group in the restaurant. At 10.10pm we rang downstairs and were told it was coming. At 11pm it still had not come and it was too late. So they gave us a sorry and our money back. Very poor customer service to any one, but even worst to someone who was booked in the hotel.

Wonderful receptionist, very nice and clear on where to go and what came included with our stay! The room was clean and had a gorgeous view of the sea, and was high enough that we didn’t feel people could look in. The bathroom was clean and came with some basic toiletries! There was a kettle with tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. Located just outside Brighton, the 700 bus got us easily into town and the stop was right outside the hotel. Would stay again!

The hotel was nice, comfy and welcoming, lovely views from the balcony which was a bit small, however the staff were nice aswell, it was a bit of a walk from the main attractions on the seafront, but then you're away from all the noise of the bars/clubs, but our stay was lovely.

Spent 2 nights here whilst visiting daughter in Hove. Pleasant hotel, conveniently situated and overlooking sea front. We had room to the rear overlooking carpark but it was pleasant, quiet and comfortable. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Tried the new Chilli and Mango restaurant (concession?). Service was slow and unresponsive but food when it finally arrived was tasty. It's just opened apparently so hopefully they will become better organised.
