I had to question if I had been given a superior room as it was small with very little good to say about it. I spend a lot of time in hotels travelling with work and I pay £120-£140 per night and have stoped in some fabulous places with good fixtures and fittings. This hotel is very run down and in need of a lot of refurb. The shower head leaked badly. The water from the shower didn’t get hot but the sink next to it did. I asked to be moved rooms and I ended up with a room with terribly creaky floorboards, shower head no better in the new room and all the fixtures and walls in need of repair or replacement. I enjoyed dinner and the service was quick and good.

Our room was quite basic and a bit dated, but clean and tidy. There was a great selection of options for breakfast and it was delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal the night before for my Dad's 80th and the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Thank you!
