Travelodge Plymouth

Great staff, very helpful. Good night's sleep. But building a bit tardy and no free WiFi beyond 30 mins. I mean, really?

There was very noisy sex noises for a few hours. Funny for a little bit then just annoying. Had to play white noise to sleep.

The shower curtain was pointless, the extremely small bathroom was flooded. It was a very basic room

When arriving at the hotel there was a lot of police and a detective on the same floor as our room and we found out the next day a dead body had been found in one of the rooms.We were quite upset to think the floor had not even been sectioned off. The room was fairly clean but needed more towels and a bath mat. The toilet door would not close with the toilet seat down so had to put it up before leaving the bathroom. We had to move to another room after the first night as the music from the club kept us awake until 3am. From the people we met on the corridor and lifts there seems to be a lot of people living in this hotel . I would not recommend this hotel at all which a shame as it is central to the shops restaurants and amenities and the reception staff were very helpful.

Room was fine, although quilt was a bit thin, hotel is situated above a nightclub which was extremely raucous for a Wednesday night, so kept awake by the booming noise of the disco.
