Overnight stay before boarding the ferry. Parked outside our room. Rooms separate to reception, dinning and bar. Staff friendly, service excellent. Enjoyed evening meal and breakfast and stayed in lounge area of reception until leaving to board the ferry.

Spotlessly clean facilities. Very comfortable bed. Staff at checkin/bar/restaurant really lovely and friendly. Very welcoming. Dog friendly, dog got a sausage on arrival. Beautiful river walk and country park within walking distance. Shops and facilities nearby. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Great staff, friendly check in and service, small bar open late if you fancy a beer or glass of something after a long trip. Room was pleasantly warm on arrival; many motels can be too cold or too hot and stuffy. Easy parking. Very good location for a late stop on a road trip heading West. Breakfast was ok, good coffee machine and basic buffet style but over priced.

This is a great cozy hotel. The staff are extremely friendly, shout out to Tracie. The location is great, within walking of bus stops and shopping mall. Great coffee and cute little bar with lovely ambience. A plus was the very comfortable bed!

We have stayed at the ibis many times and it has always been very clean and the rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities at a really reasonable price. However on this visit our room had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke which was really disappointing. We arrived quite late in the evening so were too tired to complain.

Most everything about the room was clean and tidy, the toilet pedestal however was very dirty, the cleaners need to look below the seat area! Carlos on reception was great thank you

The room was not spacious so no room for easy chairs but quite adequate and a modern en suite. The staff were very friendly. It was January and cold and very wet and I am sure it would feel quite different in the summer when you can relax, eat and drink outdoors. The bar/restaurant looks good and the menu is quite extensive.

Room was fine, fabulously comfy bed, good quality large screen TV in room, general environment good, and very helpful and friendly staff that were all very welcoming. Only negatives would be food that was OK, but not really that good, and only one working EV charger (that was occupied.....)

If you’re planning on staying here because it’s ’doggy Friendly’ - do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else!! The noise from the road and other rooms is so intrusive, clearly an old building with minimal sound proofing - had to pay £10 extra per night for our dog and us to get no sleep, genuinely checked out a day early - avoid!

The rooms are actually in a separate building to reception and the bar/restaurant part. Theyre not overly private as everyone will be walking past your window, but theres plenty of blinds for privacy. The bedding is lovely and comfortable and the bathroom/shower is good. For a quick stop over and a couple nights, cant knock it for the money.

We have stayed here quite a few times. We were on ground floor and our last night’s comfort was disturbed by a power cut at around 10:40 pm and then inconsiderate people above us. Clumping and banging around at 04:30 in the morning and what sounded like a small terrier type dog yapping. We like staying here but the last night stay was spoiled.

To be honest we were actually dreading this stopover as 3 days prior to this stop we had the misfortune of staying at Niort Ibis Hotel which really you shouldn’t be plugging! ( report explains everything that was wrong). So to be late off the ferry, like several others and greeted so well, the lass in charge couldn’t do enough for us. I believe she got the chef to do a little extra time so we were able to eat. Marvellous.

As a solo female traveller, I was made to feel very welcome and safe. Staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and smelt lovely when i arrived. I was given the option not to have the room made up which i took advantage of. Better for me and the entertainment. Food was good and gave value for money. Never stayed atcan Ibis before but definitely would again. Thank you.

Comfortable stay with good amenities No noise from traffic Better door handles in bathroom would be a bonus as old style round ones difficult to open Staff were brilliant esp Amy & Carlos, restaurant was good & good choices for evening meal.

Handy location for catching the ferry to Santander. Not sure it will be suitable later in the year when we return towing a car trailer. Nice bar / restaurant area. Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting friends in the area. The welcome from Eve at reception was very nice and the room was very clean and the beds (twin room) were very comfortable. All the staff at the bar and at breakfast were friendly and helpful. A taxi into Plymouth centre was £12 so the location is good for the price paid.

The site was conveninent for my primary purpose. Rooms were clean and comfortable if a little small and tired. Staff members were helpful and cheerful. Menu was wide but food poorly prepared and generally of lower quality than I had hoped. There were no walkable alternative eating places.

Was disappointed when having paid for breakfast knowing there was two us, to be informed at breakfast that we needed to pay more, who pays £23 for breakfast its not even brilliant. On the positive they did refund me they took for breakfast.

We loved the rooms and bar area We hated the food only eat there first night because of it . The evening menu looked good but we couldnt eat it The green beans were rock harf as were the peas. The pie wasnt any better rock hard and we couldnt eat it. This ment that for tge rest of our stay we eat out in the evenings. The breskfast was ok though which was nice

Very uncomfortable bed mattress was old and they just put a cheap mattress topper on to cover this.room was cold and noisy and the breakfast was just bad all very cheap ingredients and cold and over cooked
