Stayed 1 night

Overall the hotel was fine, but I won’t be staying here again or recommending. Yes location was great however nowhere on the website did it say the hotel was ontop of a bar and a nightclub. Sleep was impossible until the club closed with the base thumping through the walls and music blaring clear as day from around 2pm until 3am. We couldn’t have the windows open to cool down the room due to the noise which was inconvenient. Parking was also misleading, online it mentions a £20 parking voucher, yet reception tried to charge us £30 and it was only amended after w questioned so id watch out for this. However the pamphlets in the room state parking pass as £8….. so pretty misleading and clearly charging more just because they can. Room wasn’t amazing, but had all the basics for a single night stay. Overall a very groggy and lacklustre stay, and ideally it should be noted on their website the noise levels as had we known we wouldn’t have booked.

Stayed 2 nights

I had no expectations, really, as I payed almost nothing for 2 nights in such a nice area (all I was looking for it was a bed and a place to leave my stuff, while being at the beach); yet I had many little nice surprises visiting this place...: the minimalistic, but very beautifully carved furniture, immediately caught my attention with its details; the totally unexpected, lateral, sea view made my mornings there! enjoying my latte from the top of the bed, while watching the waves... such a treat! At around 8.30pm I discovered an amazing spot for watching the sunset, in the hallway, right in the front of my room (nr.43)... (the Monet's "Bridge over a pond of water lilies" print couldn't have a better home for that moment of the day...) It's been a bit of a maze getting up there, taking the elevator to the 3rd floor and then some doors and stairs to the top floor, but somehow it all added to the charm of the place... The room I stayed in (43) has such a pleasant vibe! I felt safe and slept very well! (From my perspective, that room has so much more potential. I think that a mini fridge would be a great addition, a silent air cooler too; maybe take down that "art" piece from the wall, add a bedside lamp, give the shower a good scrub, and voila! Returning customers! 😀 The staff was always welcoming and kind, keeping a safe and calm atmosphere. (have I mentioned very good looking too?... yes, indeed ;) Thank you!
