Aspen Suites Anchorage Downtown

Get what you pay for. We spent a lot of $$ coming from northern NY to stay homer AK. So we chose to save a little on the room because we didn’t want to be inside, we wanted to experience and explore what Homer had. That’s why we choose the cheapest hotel in Homer. The building looks like it can be overhauled. Room was ok a little musky smell. No coffee in the room had to go upstairs to lobby for coffee to find out out the pot isn’t regularly made and was a solid block of coffee grounds (but the pot was spotless ). Tv reception is the worst I have ever seen couldn’t watch 10 seconds of a show with out it freezing up or buffering. WiFi so inconsistent( not sure how many guest where on it) Overall: Like I said get what you paid for. We choose to spend less time in the hotel and see what Homer had. If you’re looking for a more comfortable hotel with amenities… definitely look elsewhere. But if you want cheep and more affordable to spend on adventures then choose this.

Comfy beds and pillows, clean, and friendly staff. Laundry was nice to have. The location is walkable to downtown. The traffic in front of the hotel can be a little noisy.

Everyone was excellent! Our night auditor was amazing! She helped with a variety of things and we felt safe and comfortable! Definitely recommend a stay here! Within walking distance of the downtown area.

Nice black out curtains, comfy bed and pillows. Walking distance to pubs and resturants.

We really appreciated the staff throughout our stay—especially for holding our luggage until we were ready to transfer hotels. Joseph was a fantastic human who made our stay wonderful!
