Property completely under construction. Pool closed, no access to beach without walking through a dirt parking lot. Extremely dissatisfied as there was no mention of renovation when we booked the room. Property would not compensate us for the inconvenience in any way. Don’t stay here

It was not a pleasure stay here due to : no swimming pool on site no fitness center on site over price parking rate no direct access to beach no any complimentary water I will avoid to book such hotel since they are undergoing renovation currently. The hotel was clean amd the room was comfortable. Parking fews were outrageous at $55/day valet service. In addition they charge a non-optional $34/day destination fee. I did not know thiswhen I booked the room on expedia.

Hotel has been under major reconstruction since summer of 2024. Looks like it will not be finished until summer of 2025. All major public areas are either closed or in temporary locations with poor substitutes. No pool, no outdoor patio or bar; no fitness room; closed lobby and restaurant. Hotel access is thru side entrance which is also the primary access to the construction staging areas ( which is the former hotel parking lot). Access is dark and very unsafe. They do offer usd of a pool at a sister hotel ( the AC) which is about a one mile walk each way - and also in an active construction zone with a 40 story condo being built next door which blocks the sun from the pool!

This property was advertised as having a gym, pool, restaurant, Starbucks which it had none. they were all closed due to construction. I booked because it said it had a gym. Very noisy with construction. My money should be refunded for lack of amenties.

my husband and 2 kids and I got stuck in the elevator with an older couple and a hotel worker. The worker finally decided to pry the doors open and told us to climb out. No one came to check on us or apologize. As we were climbing the stairs up the power went out. My 7 and 8 year have been too scared to ride the elevator since. We have had to climb 11 flights up since. The stairs are being used as stored for tables and chairs (see attached pictures). It is a fire hazard. When I went to the front desk they said they are working on the elevators and the manager would be in tomorrow. I left my name, room number and phone number and never heard back. I went down 3 more times the following day and never heard from the manager. The front desk agent told me to call Expedia (who I booked through to ask for a night refund), I did and when they called the front desk to verify, it got denied. I went back down and finally demanded the managers phone number. William answered. He blamed the contractors, his very busy schedule and the front desk (when they have been nothing but helpful). I told William to take accountability for his lack of communication and terrible customer service. All he could say was I won’t deny the Expedia refund. Still waiting to see if I get refunded. Courtyard Marriott should be ashamed with how they are treating their customers.

I would not book this property ever again first of all they never told us to. There was major construction going on and we or without water some days and the pool is not open at all not one person told us this when booking. It’s very convenient. We have a seven and 10-year-old on vacation and you can’t go in a pool. That’s the reason why we booked this hotel for the pool. Everyone lied to us at the hotel when you asked questions about it. Do yourself a favor and book another hotel in the area there’s plenty that are better. I stated most of them on this trip except for this one this is a one and done deal for me.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and stylish. Very happy that they provided beach towels that was a bonus. Bar and pool area were great. Big area. Lots of chairs and family friendly pool. I will stay there again!

Very poor experience. So unfortunate because we were really looking forward to this trip. Here's what happened - the room was not cleaned and the sheets were not washed. How do I know? Because someone else's socks were left in my bed. We called the front desk and they sent someone up. This housekeeping guy did not want to make the bed for us and told is that it wasn't his problem. Um yes it is? Isn't it your job to clean the room? Anyways, the only reason I did not completely lose my mind that night is because a very kind lady, named Lena, was working the front desk and went out of her way to come upstairs and make the bed herself. She was the only positive part of my whole stay there. Other than that, do y'all even clean the sheets? I thought the Marriott was a good hotel chain. Was very disgusted. Oh also we were charged $16.25 2x to my credit card after we left (outside of the $50 deposit). Still trying to dispute this. Maybe don't stay here? Idk good luck tho

The washroom in our suite was not clean. There were long hairs ( definitely not ours) on the walls and floor including hair shavings in tte tub. We used the on site pool, only to ruin two bathing suits due to excessive chemicals. We won't be back anytime soon.

Five Stars! This was our second year staying at this hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint! The entire place is nice and very clean, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were so many great amenities available, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We truly felt comfortable and well taken care of. We will definitely be returning again! Highly recommend!

The hotel was not what I expected. I was quite disappointed. It is under construction and that was not mentioned when I made the reservation. The pool was closed, the hallway carpet was very dusty, I imagine due to the construction work. The air conditioning in the room was set too high and there was no way to lower the temperature. I spent two days very hot and could barely sleep at night, sweating. The view from my room was half sea, half construction equipment. The valet parking service was very good, but I consider $52 a day to be very high for hotel guests. The location is good, although direct access to the beach was closed due to the construction work. I recommend that the hotel's website indicate that the pool is closed and that repairs are being made.

Parking was a hassle at this location, the hotel charges $52 for overnight parking and during the day, the lowest option is around $4.75 an hour. The hotel is under construction and the AC was not working in several rooms, my family had to switch rooms multiple times during our stay due to issues with the AC or the bathrooms.

There were no in-room microwave, so having any leftovers were a waste or you had to go by the reception counter to heat your food, then take it back up to your room to enjoy it. I think that for the price of the room and required Valet $20d/$50on, that it should have a in-room microwave.

This is our third time staying at Oceanside Courtyard Marriott, the first time after the remodel. The remodel was such a nice surprise and really gave the property a resort feel! The staff was amazing, the room and biew was beautiful. Location to the beach, shops and restaurant was fantastic!

I picked this hotel for the ocean view and nice looking gym. The hotel is under CONSTRUCTION. And the gym is Closed. I DID NOT see anywhere on the website when I picked this hotel about being under CONSTRUCTION. The AC in out room with a beautiful ocean front room was making this loud vibrating noise. 2 times someone come in to fix it. At 11:30pm we were moved to a non ocean view room.

Their valet mistakenly loaded my luggage into another customer’s vehicle which they were holding for me until my flight departed later in the day. When the customer was made privy to it, she called the front desk to notify them. She did so 5 hours before my flight. The front desk failed to notify the valet of their mistake, as the valet stated they could have driven to the person’s home and picked up the luggage before I left for the airport. I had documents and private financial information in the suitcase. Marriott was nonchalant about the whole thing and refused to compensate saying they are not liable.

WORST EXPERIENCE! SUPER SCARY!! I arrived with a friend Friday night and immediately my friend felt unsafe. I checked in but their system was down. Lady gave my my card keys but my friend didn’t want to stay at this hotel. We left and we stayed over night at another hotel. I came back alone to the hotel Saturday afternoon and tried to use the keys I received the night before.. they didn’t work.. I went down and got new keys. I tried the door again and there was someone in the room!!! I ran back down stairs and told them what happened.. She said oh that’s odd since you didn’t stay in the room last night maybe the cleaning lady saw the room in used and labeled it as empty… I felt so unsafe!!! The people in the lobby were sketchy! she gave me a new room and I wasn’t feeling it. I came back down and checked out! As I’m standing on line there was a couple talking about how they got someone else’s room!! But they were able to open the door!!!! As a solo female traveler imagine being in a room at 2am and someone is able to walk I to your room! I’m fighting for a refund! Do not stay here! No security, and you are able to love the elevator with out your room key… Anyone can come in and out of this hotel and roam about with any problem.. Super unsafe. Lastly the rooms look nothing like what is advertised on the site. Birthday weekend completely ruined

The best property I’ve ever been to. My spouse and I enjoyed this vacation in a lovely suite to celebrate my birthday. The staff was so polite and respectful and provided us with anything we needed. The gentlemen who always greeted us at the door were the kindest people we’ve ever met. This is definitely my top rated vacation ever and we plan on returning very soon!!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Courtyard Marriott! The hotel was updated, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowing early check-in well before the standard time and offering a late check-out due to flight changes. Their flexibility and hospitality made our trip much smoother. Highly recommend for a stress-free and pleasant stay!

Let's start with the GOOD news. The staff here is off the charts. The facility is showing its age a bit and is undergoing renovations, when we arrived the lobby was quickly filling up with an angry mob because the computer system went done. This is where the staff really impressed us. Lena and Emanuel handled a stressful situation with incredible grace and professionalism and eventually got everyone sorted out. We had a couple of other nuisances like a TV that didn't work but at the end of the day Bill Stienberg made it right with us, he clearly understands the hospitality business and ran a tight ship. Special shoutout to Zerodia and Marietta who were also fantastic. We will be back when they finish the renovations.

The view, Location, room were wonderful during the day. You have the ocean view on one side and the intercoastal with beautiful houses and boats on the other side. If you have a car be prepared for the $55 valet parking per day. Also, if staying on weekends or holidays at night a lot of young people are walking around and driving around with loud music and smoking pot. The smell was terrible. We did not eat on the front beach road because of it. Fort Lauderdale needs to do something about that. When you are paying $200,300,400 a night you should be able to walk the sidewalks at night n peace.

This is my go to place when I come to Fort Lauderdale a few times a year. The location is great, I love going to Coconuts right across the street and it’s within walking distance all down the boulevard. The staff are super helpful and friendly and they have done major renovations and all the rooms are beautiful as well as the pool area.

We stayed here for a gymnastic tournament and weren’t expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. Super nice hotel with good gym and restaurant, even a beach service. Perfect location for families with teens, walking distance to volleyball and tourist spots

I booked this location for it's proximity to the beach prior to my cruise. My room was gorgeous and the hotel, they said had just been remodeled This was also the caveat because it ended up with a 34 resort fee that they said was because of the upgrades. This fee came with access to several perks most of which were not good for me due to the length of our stay but otherwise would have been tolerable had I known about them in advance. The access to the beach was great. The cost of drinks at their bar was high especially when I had to ask my husband if he'd gotten me a mocktail instead. Check in was easy and the front desk attendant was friendly and kind. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

Great location. Was a little surprised by the destination fee but it came with cool perks. Only downside is bar/cafe closed too early. They even closed when there was an active paying crowd during a championship game.

I enjoyed my time at the Courtyard Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Pros: LOCATION! Perfect access to beach, restaurants, clubs, etc. Bike rentals on site (not electric), 7-11 across the street for snacks etc. Cons: Pool bar needs to be a bit more lively (Better music, more involving/upbeat staff). No soundproofing in the doors between adjoining rooms. Go with Uber for any commuting - taxis are unreliable. Onsite bistro should stay open later (closes at 11:30am!)

Great location. Everything was perfect but we were missing the option of having coffee and water available in the lobby. The front desk staff was amazing. The breakfast which we paid with the room was great but the restaurant staff could be more friendly. Also we got charged for the breakfast at the checkout when I checked my receipt but that was fixed, just waiting to see if the charges were reversed on my credit card.
