Holiday Inn Augusta West I-20 by IHG

This is the place to stay if you visit the Augusta area! The rooms are nice and the beds are great. You can actually say the breakfast is real food cooked by a staff. Real eggs, bacon and real sausage. I come to Augusta quite a bit visiting family. I’ve tried most of the hotels in the area near I-20 and Washington road all are a mess. So go to grovetown and check in here. You won’t be disappointed!

The hotel was amazing in all aspects. I did have one issue but didn’t let that affect the rating. I was told upon check in if I wanted to have my room serviced I needed to fill out a form and turn it in before 9 am the next day which I did. We even left the whole day for our room to be serviced. We come back and there had been no service done on our room. The man at the front desk apologized and helped us by giving us new towels and trash bags so I took out our trash and left it in the hallway. Other than that everything was great. Will definitely be back.

I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When I checked in, I was told that my room would not be cleaned during my stay. While I didn’t agree with that policy, I accepted it. The problems started when I simply asked for clean towels. Instead of being treated with basic courtesy, I was met with disrespect, ridicule, and an unprofessional attitude. I was spoken to in a way that no paying guest should ever be treated. The situation escalated for no reason other than me requesting fresh towels for my room. To make matters even worse, the police were called, and I was ultimately removed from the hotel over nothing more than asking for towels. I never imagined that a simple customer service request would end with me being escorted out of a hotel. Since this happened, I have repeatedly asked to speak with a manager. Despite multiple requests, I have still not had the opportunity to speak with anyone in management. I have also not received a refund for my stay. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and complete failure of management to address this situation have been extremely disappointing. Guests deserve to be treated with respect, especially when making a simple request. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel, and I hope management takes these issues seriously so that no other guest has to go through what I did.
