Stayed 5 nights

My wife and I just got back from a 5 day 4 night stay and we had an amazing time. The property is wonderful and the staff is amazing. All of the staff is super friendly and really make you feel at home. We had breakfast at The Park every morning and our waiter Melchor was amazing and took care of us every morning. The bartenders at Aura swim up bar are incredible and work so hard. We will definitely be back and will recommend this stay to all our friends and family.

The service and hotel were amzing ! We get there and Elizebeth greats us with a smile and she were drained and shots for me and my family. And than after the check in she introduced us to Alfred or personal concierge for our entire stay! Alfred was amazing. We got there and he’s like let me show you guys where the restaurant is because I know you guys are hungry as we’re walking. He’s explaining the hotel he explains. He’s our private concierge as well. He explains on the way that we could go go with him or we could stop at his desk and look at the restaurant options. He already had taken the privilege of booking the overall best restaurants at the resort we actually stood with hair recommendations. His recommendations were on point. I can’t say how much Alfred was there for us every morning he greeted us for breakfast anytime he seen us. He wanted to make sure we were OK that there was nothing that was missing from my room or any of that as well. He did help us set up our excursions as well that same day he got everything set up for us and we’re set for the entire week. He was in fishing. He was courteous and my true honest opinion is he provided over the top service for the hotel and the whole staff was amazing all the staff was great so I can’t say more and I do give this hotel a high 10 because the little touches that they provided for us was amazing. Thank you.

Before we decided to visit Grand Sirenis Resort and Spa, I researched a number of properties. I was looking for a resort the was fully ADA accessible, because my son is a wheelchair user. I also needed the resort to be luxurious and cater to young adults and adults alike. What we discovered there was worthy of the five diamond status it earned. The property is gorgeous and immaculate. No detail over looked. The staff, including: Victor, Christian, Juan, Checo, Alfredo, and Julio made our family feel like we belonged: calling us by name and encouraging us to relax with warm smiles and plenty of jokes. We celebrated our twins’ birthday at the Steakhouse and the staff surprised us with a whole cake! The guests rooms are huge, modern, super clean and most of all: luxurious. The room that my sons stayed in was fully ADA compliant. Even the bathroom was thoughtfully designed created with those with mobility challenges in mind. This resort has been completely renovated. This allowed every guest to wander the massive resort with ease, even at the pools and the beach. No request for assistance was impossible. The food and drinks are top notch with the best quality and presentation. All in, the resort offers tons of: culture, food, drinks, and experiences. There is a space for everyone to enjoy at Sirenis. I would without hesitation, highly recommend that you visit this marvelous resort. Thank you Grand Sirenis Resort and Spa for helping our family enjoy the best vacation.

We are a pretty low maintenance family. Not a lot of requirements but this hotel really was odd. We have been to lots of resorts in the Riviera Maya region and our experience has always been super pleasant. People are usually super kind and customer service is abundant. That was not the case here. People seemed annoyed to be working here. Our ac was broken on day 1 and we were told it was a water issue with the property and would be fixed by midnight. It did get slightly better but still very warm. We called and they basically said oh well! It was pretty awful. Then people were rude and the regular service wasn’t apparent. We sat in beach chases by the beach for over 2 hours with no offer for water or drinks or anything. Every bar/restaurant/location didn’t have wait staff asking you what you wanted-you had to find the bar and make the order and wait for it, etc. not that we mind waiting-but in other areas waiters always came by and almost ‘pestered’ you for refills, drinks, etc. at the restaurants, they never asked if you wanted refills. It was super odd—almost like they were cutting corners. Drinks were always a little flat (they used bottles vs cans) and everything was in smaller sizes. Again-if we hadn’t been to other resorts where the service is so amazing and people go out of the way to make sure you have all you need, it might be different but this is just not the service we are used to. There was another issue at the end that was awful but no space for that.

This was my first time staying at a Grand Sirenis hotel, and must say that their customer service is Top Notch. Their staff really go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. They have concierge staff, like Alfred, dedicated to Expedia guests and to make sure you are taken care of throughout your stay. They also have other concierges in each building, like Roberto in building 28, who make sure you are assisted at all times. The complex is big, but they have golf cart shuttles you can jump on to get to your room or to restaurants. Their Bellboys are simply great, but Carlos Arias and Jose Molina really stood out. The room was excellent. Their buffets (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) were delicious and there's food for all kinds of diets. I only tried their "Butcher" (meat restaurant) and "Oishii" (Asian fusion restaurant) and the cooking was just okay, but their staff was excellent and extremely accommodating. Daniel was in charge of the pool area and he did a great job entertaining guests. The Pool bar staff worked hard, but the guests were not generous with their tips...Guests need to be better at that. Sargassum has become a problem in the Caribbean sea during spring and summer, and this hotel's beach was greatly affected by it in 2026. Sargassum smells terrible and you can't use the beach, so keep that in mind when you plan your trip. Other then that, it was a wonderful experience and I will certainly be back.
