Our room was clean, the bedding was changed every 3 days, the property looks very nice. The food is pretty fancy, the chef knows what they are doing for sure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A couple of suggestions though: the room needs additional storage in the bathroom, there's absolutely nowhere to put your stuff. Also, if the hotel is advertised as luxury please provide hangers and skin lotion.

This is a serene small hotel with a scenic palapa and deck. Very peaceful and a constant breeze from the lagoon are the best features. You need a car to stay here but its not far to town. We had a power outage due to a downed line and it was hard to be without a fan for 5 hours. They should have a backup generator that works! Thats my only complaint.

Everything was great but the room we stayed in had no electrical plug in the bathroom for hair dryer or curling iron. Other than that staff and facilities were great. Taxis were 70-80 pesos to go into central Bacalar.
