We chose this hotel based on experience with other Hilton Garden locations, however, this was a letdown. I planned on swimming with my son here… The pool was under construction at the time. This was not posted on Expedia at all and I could not find it listed on their site either(though I could be wrong, if it was, it was not readily visible). Even if it was, the pool was listed as a convenience on both sites. The clerk apologized, while the rude “manager” stepped forward from the back and said curtly “it’s posted on all of the sites” then she turned walked away. After showing the Expedia page, she then said “well that’s a third party” and walked away. I was calm but expressed disappointment. The clerk was friendly, the manager, well she lacked communication skills…and any form of empathy… The room itself was dated, while the desk and microwave cabinets were beat up. The worst part was the noise next to my room. Registered a steady 46 decibels with higher peaks. We apparently were put next to the utilities/electrical. My 6 year old son woke up at one point and said “is that the garbage truck outside?”. No, just the room son… avoid rooms that end in x21. We were in 721 two doors from the elevator. Guests were quiet that night. The noise never stopped all night. Breakfast was pretty good though…server was nice and food was hot. The morning clerk was also friendly…

No hotel amenities shared upon checkin. Hallway and room smelled like weed the whole stay. The comforter was nappy. There was an issue with the ceiling in the bathroom. Came into back entrance around 1045p - no key card required. Anyone can walk in and go straight into the elevator. Huge security issue.

Stay was great, was super disappointed the pool area was closed. We were told we could walk next door and use there pool facilities (it was 25 degrees outside ) when we checked out that hotel pool, we found out their hot tub was closed and their pool heater was broken. We were looking forward to using the hot tub on our vacation

We liked the location with all the stores and restaurants. We booked this hotel because of the hot tub/pool. We could not use the one in the hotel we booked. We were told we could use the one next door, but that is not the place I booked. This was not mentioned on the site where I booked the room.

We had 2 rooms. In one room we had to have the heat worked on. The other room had no hot water in shower. In this room my wife and daughter were eaten up by bed bug bites. I was very dissatisfied with our stay

I've stayed at this property numerous times and have never been more disappointed than this time. We stayed 5 nights and the room was cleaned only once! Had to request clean towels and toilet paper! Totally not acceptable and will find another hotel next time.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed with our stay. I will say that the customer service as far as trying to resolve our issues was good. The front desk was polite and professional, and the general manager was nice as well. Our first room had ants that we noticed just a few in the armchair the night before and then discovered a bunch more in our bed in the next morning (we did not have food in the bed). They were apologetic and switched us to a different room. The second room was not clean, as there were multiple hairs in the shower and sink. There was a wedding at the attached ballroom on Saturday night. There was very loud, thumping music that could be clearly heard inside until midnight. When we mentioned it to the front desk, apparently several people had complained and they said they were going to ask the wedding party to turn it down, but nothing improved. Lastly, this has really nothing to do with the staff, but I would HIGHLY recommend that this hotel close their pool and re-do the tiles in the pool area, before someone gets severely injured and files a lawsuit. The tiles were incredibly slick, even when dry but especially when wet. The tiles themselves were smooth, not textured and not suitable at all for a pool area. Everyone in our family slipped, while walking SLOWLY and carefully. Sincerely, these are very, very dangerous tiles to have in a pool area. All in all, a very disappointing experience from a Hilton Brand hotel and for the price we paid.

Check-in staff and restaurant staff were great and the the reason we stayed. The room was filthy. For example vent was full of dirt, mirrors were dirty, bed was not properly made had to check to see if the sheets were clean and the floor was not vacuumed taco chips on floor.

The hotel is accommodating and nice and a great location for Casino and Levis commons area. It was clean the lobby and bar were fun. The only thing I recommend is to request to not be near the elevator. So loud all hours of the night with loud people….but that also means the hotel allows a good time too.

We stayed for one night, and while the hotel is located in a nice, convenient area, the condition of the rooms was disappointing. They felt a bit run-down and in need of attention, which took away from the overall experience. I had hoped for a higher standard given the location. It served its purpose for a short stay, but I’m not sure I’d return unless some improvements are made.

Mostly pretty good. The two complaints are 1) while the bathroom was well lit, the room itself didn't have enough lights, very dark and difficult to read in. Also, it would be nice to have some plugs available on that counter by the fridge. 2) It was very disappointing to have clearly made a reservation for three people in the room with two queen beds, and find they'd only provided two sets of towels; what were they thinking?

I showed up at midnight, tired, ready to get some sleep, and I stood at the checkin desk for 10 minutes, they need some type system to alert employees when someone needs help. I called the front desk while waiting and let it ring until it automatically hung up on me, that was my first impression. In the morning we were in a rush to eat and get going, Sarah is the dining room was PHENOMENAL!!! Exceptional service, offered to bring us drinks and condiments while we grabbed food, brought me the bill quickly, GREAT SERVICE!!! Finished eating, walked over to the front desk to check out….nobody there….dropped my keycards and left. Room was very nice, clean, easy to use coffee maker and AC/Heat , would definitely come back but disappointed by the front desk

I was honestly irritated at first because we arrived a half hour after check in time @ 4 and our room wasn’t ready, but that fact quickly got forgiven. The staff at this hotel is top notch, every interaction we had was great, they were all so helpful & friendly. The room was clean, kids enjoyed the pool, we ate at the hotel restaurant twice, once for dessert & drinks-the bartender makes the best chocolate martini by the way, and then again for breakfast (which was your typical hotel breakfast). Definitely recommend a stay here and we will for sure be back.

I have wrote a complaint already pool was closed had to walk to a neighboring hotel to swim hence walking kids back over wet and cold. Breakfast buffet was offered at a price of $14.95 per person when it was stated it was included. Front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful at checkin!

Enjoyed my stay, Rose was very nice and welcoming when checking in. Rooms were clean and spacious. Within walking distance to food, entertainment and shopping. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Check in was a disaster. We arrived at 5:20pm and was told our room was not ready yet as rooms had not yet been cleaned. Told we would get a call when a room was ready. That never happened. We had to call back after 9:00pm to find out for ourselves. When we arrived back we found out they checked another family into our room, so we had to wait again. Finally in our room after 10:00pm, I went down to the lobby for a drink. My teenage daughter then calls me panicked as “someone is trying to get into the room.” The other person came back to try to get into the same room the front staff double booked. The only saving grace was the front staff was friendly.

Booked 2 rooms 1st wasn't available until 2 1/2 hrs after check in. Was told the second would be available shortly. 3 hrs later... was given a key card to an already occupied room. Went to the "comped" breakfast and was told " there's no way all 6 of you can sit together were too busy" hotel is very unaccommodating. Still waiting for a reply from Hilton....

We had reservations to attend a wedding event at 6pm we arrived around 5 pm to check in change and get ready to go. We were told room will not be ready till 7pm and there were lot of people waiting in thd lobby for the same reason . Getting a room after seven if it was clean by the and get ready and gomesnt getting there after 8 pm , which would have been useless , so we decided to leave the property and not to attend the function. We never got a message an email or any notice that there is a problem .; but just that room will not be available , and will have to check in later ant that we cannot be checked in till after 7 pm. The worst experience in my 60 years of practical life.

This was my second time staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. My absolute favorite part is its location in Levis Commons. There are a variety of places to shop and eat at, as well as some salons, a book store, a couple bars, arcade, etc. The hotel itself along with its neighbor is tucked away more towards the back, so you are out of the way/quiet but still so close to everything. Hotel is simple and clean with a nice lobby and easy parking. The outdoor area/commons itself is absolutely adorable! Very well maintained with plants, flowers, string lights, etc. A wonderful place to stay if you are in BG, Perrysburg, Toledo, Maumee surrounding areas! Thank you for a memorable stay! We will definitely be back!

Stay was comfortable. I came solo to study. I read my book in the hottub, dinner was good. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good as well. My waitress in the morning for breakfast was so excellent. I only wished the ice machine had water. Thats it. Great stay

This Hotel is Everything Wonderful!!! Clean, Cozy, Beautiful!!! Great Breakfast and Dinner!!! Was nice you didn't have to leave the hotel to have a meal that was just as good as any chain restaurant! Matter of fact, I think it was better!!! Will stay here again!!!

Property is in a very nice shopping area with lots of dining options. Staff is very nice. Rooms were a bit outdated. Shower didn’t drain. Hair left in soap tray from last person. Peeling paint in ceiling. Had to pay for breakfast but coffee was complimentary. Had breakfast a Hang Over Easy in shopping center - fantastic!

The hotel is nice. My room had a very slow sink drain. I also thought that I had continental breakfast. I went to get breakfast, and after making a small plate, I was given a $16 invoice. I could have gotten breakfast anywhere for that price. I wish that it had been made clear when you go into the breakfast area. The server was very nice, apologetic, and accommodating. I could have stayed across the lot at Home 2 Home Suites, paid the same price, and gotten a complimentary breakfast.
