It is the staff that makes this place so special. Of course, being nude is a highlight as well. The facilities are tired and need to be upgraded. It is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms lack in almost every aspect. They are small, 2nd floor for the most part have no balconies, the furniture is worn, and some of the tiles have been replaced, don't match, and have chipped on the adjoining pieces. The beach is almost non-existent so it is Hidden. I'd still return and I love it but some things need to change.

Al entrar se siente como un mundo diferente, apacible, libre y con personas sonrientes y amables dispuestos a hacer la estancia un placer. We enjoyed having the option of using the sister properties. We actually spent more time there as they had plenty of activities. Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Food was great and our room was wonderful. You can fly into Tulum or Cancun airport. If you do, make your own reservations for shuttle service as their taxi prices were much higher than what we actually paid to get to the hotel. They do offer free shuttle service to Cancun airport but not Tulum airport.

The staff and service here are the best you could possibly find anywhere. If I would give 10 stars for the service if that was possible. The grounds are a lovely lush tropical oasis and beautifully maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is pretty standard all inclusive fare but well presented and plentiful. Guests have the option of making a reservation to put on clothes and walk over to the much larger hotel next door to eat in one of the restaurants there. It’s the same ownership so similar food with an expanded menu, but nice to have the choice. The vibe here is very laid back and relaxed. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It’s an older crowd for the most part with a big group of regulars who have been coming there for years. The buildings do have some minor issues and could use a facelift. The roof in our room leaked during a tropical shower and the plumbing, while completely functional, obviously needs some repairs. It is an isolated location over an hr from the airport and not close to any tourist attractions. Good for those looking to be away from the crowds of Cancun and Riviera Maya but expect a substantial taxi bill to go anywhere else.

Exceptional service in a fun friendly atmosphere pristine boutique setting. There are five restaurants available in the adjacent El Dorado resort all excellent tho you’ll notice the superior and far friendlier service while dining alfresco or just relaxing au naturel within Hidden Beach. One downside—if you want to swim in the ocean you’ll need to wear your suits and use the nice wide beach at El Dorado. Otherwise there are plenty of private beach beds and lounge chairs. So worth it!

Very relaxing, casual environment. For "newbies" to an au natural resort, it was mild and comfortable. Lovely pool area; awesome oceanfront covered beach beds; ambient music was soft and relaxing; the entire staff was awesome; bed in room was super comfortable; A/C in room kept us cool. Only negatives were the slow plumbing, an unremarkable fitness center, and in reality - no real place to get into the ocean.

Incredibly good food and high end drinks which was a surprise for an all inclusive resort. All the staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. This is quite a small hotel within the much larger El Dorado complex and is very friendly and intimate. We had a lovely 5 nights here and plan to return.

This Resort offers an incredibly unique experience to adult travelers. The Staff Service was top shelf and the mix of people staying there were the best. It’s not a huge resort with only 43 or so rooms. However HBR is located in between two sister resorts where we enjoyed excellent dining out. Best of both worlds.

If you are looking to be treated like a King, this is definitely the place to come.I don’t even know where to start. From check in to check out the experience was outstanding. Food was Delicious, especially Martha’s Hamburger's. Premium variety of alcohol, Nathaniel lychee Martinis are the best. Fernanda and Ixchell were the sweetest and funniest host we ever had. They took care of us and even gave us souvenirs to remember them.Fernanda thank you for being so lovely to us! The staff here is amazing. Makes you feel like home. We are definitely coming back. Only bad thing is that there wasn’t hot water in mornings. Saludos de Luciano y Olivia.

All of the staff was amazing... kind, helpful, professional, and always going the extra mile. The property in all areas was extremely clean and the food and drinks were amazing. Well above par with other resorts. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for: There was a "Takeover" event by, I believe, a swinger group and they were cliquee and not really the including kind. They left halfway through our stay and glad they did. Real naturalist came and it was a great time after that. Find out when the castaways will be there and don't go! *Property maintenance: -The toilets had a lot of problems flushing and with water pressure. -The smaller windows in the room were almost falling out of the walls when opened. -It rained extremely hard one night and water was pouring in through the large windows. It took 7 very large beach towels to clean it up and they were saturated. Maintenance guy came and basically said "nothing to do about it, sorry" and left. -While I walking through the property by the pool that was over it's edge from the rain, I got a jolt of electricity from a nearby light pole. *Communication: Events and activity communication was very lacking. The app was not updated to reflect the correct events happening throughout the days and nights. We would like to have gotten an itinerary of events and themes occurring during our stay when we checked in. Most of the happenings we found out from other guests. Despite the issues it was still an amazing experience.

Service was top-notch. Food was good. Cenote tour was wonderful. Only downfall was there was absolutely no hot water pressure. I would go back in the future if that were fixed.

El personal es de lo mejor ya que dan el 100. En cuanto a cosas a mejorar son las instalaciones ya que parece que ocupan muchísimo mantenimiento así como los camas y los cuartos están muy desgastados. Por lo demás nos encanta ir aunque Creo que sus precios ya están por los cielos por lo que se vuelve cada vez más difícil volver.

We liked the property a lot. Room, staff and food were amazing, We went in with higher expectations as to what kind of crowd would be there. Primarily a senior dominated resort. If you want a nice quiet experience this is probably your place.

It is the staff that makes this place so special. Of course, being nude is a highlight as well. The facilities are tired and need to be upgraded. It is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms lack in almost every aspect. They are small, 2nd floor for the most part have no balconies, the furniture is worn, and some of the tiles have been replaced, don't match, and have chipped on the adjoining pieces. The beach is almost non-existent so it is Hidden. I'd still return and I love it but some things need to change.

We enjoyed having the option of using the sister properties. We actually spent more time there as they had plenty of activities. Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Food was great and our room was wonderful. You can fly into Tulum or Cancun airport. If you do, make your own reservations for shuttle service as their taxi prices were much higher than what we actually paid to get to the hotel. They do offer free shuttle service to Cancun airport but not Tulum airport.

The staff and service here are the best you could possibly find anywhere. If I would give 10 stars for the service if that was possible. The grounds are a lovely lush tropical oasis and beautifully maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is pretty standard all inclusive fare but well presented and plentiful. Guests have the option of making a reservation to put on clothes and walk over to the much larger hotel next door to eat in one of the restaurants there. It’s the same ownership so similar food with an expanded menu, but nice to have the choice. The vibe here is very laid back and relaxed. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It’s an older crowd for the most part with a big group of regulars who have been coming there for years. The buildings do have some minor issues and could use a facelift. The roof in our room leaked during a tropical shower and the plumbing, while completely functional, obviously needs some repairs. It is an isolated location over an hr from the airport and not close to any tourist attractions. Good for those looking to be away from the crowds of Cancun and Riviera Maya but expect a substantial taxi bill to go anywhere else.

Very relaxing, casual environment. For "newbies" to an au natural resort, it was mild and comfortable. Lovely pool area; awesome oceanfront covered beach beds; ambient music was soft and relaxing; the entire staff was awesome; bed in room was super comfortable; A/C in room kept us cool. El personal es de lo mejor ya que dan el 100. En cuanto a cosas a mejorar son las instalaciones ya que parece que ocupan muchísimo mantenimiento así como los camas y los cuartos están muy desgastados. Por lo demás nos encanta ir aunque Creo que sus precios ya están por los cielos por lo que se vuelve cada vez más difícil volver.

If you are looking to be treated like a King, this is definitely the place to come.I don’t even know where to start. From check in to check out the experience was outstanding. Food was Delicious, especially Martha’s Hamburger's. Premium variety of alcohol, Nathaniel lychee Martinis are the best. Fernanda and Ixchell were the sweetest and funniest host we ever had. They took care of us and even gave us souvenirs to remember them.Fernanda thank you for being so lovely to us! The staff here is amazing. Makes you feel like home. We are definitely coming back. Only bad thing is that there wasn’t hot water in mornings. Saludos de Luciano y Olivia.

All of the staff was amazing... kind, helpful, professional, and always going the extra mile. The property in all areas was extremely clean and the food and drinks were amazing. Well above par with other resorts. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for: There was a "Takeover" event by, I believe, a swinger group and they were cliquee and not really the including kind. They left halfway through our stay and glad they did. Real naturalist came and it was a great time after that. Find out when the castaways will be there and don't go! *Property maintenance: -The toilets had a lot of problems flushing and with water pressure. -The smaller windows in the room were almost falling out of the walls when opened. -It rained extremely hard one night and water was pouring in through the large windows. It took 7 very large beach towels to clean it up and they were saturated. Maintenance guy came and basically said "nothing to do about it, sorry" and left. -While I walking through the property by the pool that was over it's edge from the rain, I got a jolt of electricity from a nearby light pole. *Communication: Events and activity communication was very lacking. The app was not updated to reflect the correct events happening throughout the days and nights. We would like to have gotten an itinerary of events and themes occurring during our stay when we checked in. Most of the happenings we found out from other guests. Despite the issues it was still an amazing experience.

Es un ambiente muy relajado, el personal fue excelente excepto la consierge que se supone que debería estar más pendiente de los clientes y no tanto del celular, ya que a nosotros por ejemplo solo nos saludo el día después que llegamos y nos despidió cuando hicimos el check out y porque estaba allí, tienes mucho más contacto con las camareras y camareros que con ella. En especial Esperanza fue muy muy amable y si estuvo pendiente de que no nos faltará de nada.

Our stay at HBR was not good. The guests were great as were the wait/cook staff, but that is about all. The management/owners were a nightmare. The food was not good. We had 1 good meal in 7 days. We arrived with some minor ailments only to find that the OTC meds we needed from the giftshop would cost a ridiculous amount. We negotiated a membership and shared a hand-shake with the salesman only to have the deal cancelled by management. This ended up being good as we discovered we had the best deal in the house and it was from Orbitz. We spent 2.5 hrs on this deal. I had a minor injury at the pool and was told I had a broken finger by a “lifeguard” who did not speak English, and needed to go to the hospital. When I refused I was bombarded with legal forms, and they refused to give me a half-used roll tape so I could wrap my finger. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.

Incredibly good food and high end drinks which was a surprise for an all inclusive resort. All the staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. This is quite a small hotel within the much larger El Dorado complex and is very friendly and intimate. We had a lovely 5 nights here and plan to return.

You will have access to the sister properties for more night life and dining options but those are clothing required. Would definitely recommend private car trans it’s only $100 each way and still a 80 ride to airport. It’s an older crowd when we went but a few our age (45/50)

Exceptional service in a fun friendly atmosphere pristine boutique setting. There are five restaurants available in the adjacent El Dorado resort all excellent tho you’ll notice the superior and far friendlier service while dining alfresco or just relaxing au naturel within Hidden Beach. One downside—if you want to swim in the ocean you’ll need to wear your suits and use the nice wide beach at El Dorado. Otherwise there are plenty of private beach beds and lounge chairs. So worth it!

This Resort offers an incredibly unique experience to adult travelers. The Staff Service was top shelf and the mix of people staying there were the best. It’s not a huge resort with only 43 or so rooms. However HBR is located in between two sister resorts where we enjoyed excellent dining out. Best of both worlds.

If you are looking to be treated like a King, this is definitely the place to come.I don’t even know where to start. From check in to check out the experience was outstanding. Food was Delicious, especially Martha’s Hamburger's. Premium variety of alcohol, Nathaniel lychee Martinis are the best. Fernanda and Ixchell were the sweetest and funniest host we ever had. The staff and service here are the best you could possibly find anywhere. If I would give 10 stars for the service if that was possible. The grounds are a lovely lush tropical oasis and beautifully maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is pretty standard all inclusive fare but well presented and plentiful. Guests have the option of making a reservation to put on clothes and walk over to the much larger hotel next door to eat in one of the restaurants there. It’s the same ownership so similar food with an expanded menu, but nice to have the choice. The vibe here is very laid back and relaxed. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It’s an older crowd for the most part with a big group of regulars who have been coming there for years. The buildings do have some minor issues and could use a facelift. The roof in our room leaked during a tropical shower and the plumbing, while completely functional, obviously needs some repairs. It is an isolated location over an hr from the airport and not close to any tourist attractions. Good for those looking to be away from the crowds of Cancun and Riviera Maya but expect a substantial taxi bill to go anywhere else.

Exceptional service in a fun friendly atmosphere pristine boutique setting. There are five restaurants available in the adjacent El Dorado resort all excellent tho you’ll notice the superior and far friendlier service while dining alfresco or just relaxing au naturel within Hidden Beach. One downside—if you want to swim in the ocean you’ll need to wear your suits and use the nice wide beach at El Dorado. Otherwise there are plenty of private beach beds and lounge chairs. So worth it!

Our stay at HBR was not good. The guests were great as were the wait/cook staff, but that is about all. The management/owners were a nightmare. The food was not good. We had 1 good meal in 7 days. We arrived with some minor ailments only to find that the OTC meds we needed from the giftshop would cost a ridiculous amount. We negotiated a membership and shared a hand-shake with the salesman only to have the deal cancelled by management. This ended up being good as we discovered we had the best deal in the house and it was from Orbitz. We spent 2.5 hrs on this deal. I had a minor injury at the pool and was told I had a broken finger by a “lifeguard” who did not speak English, and needed to go to the hospital. When I refused I was bombarded with legal forms, and they refused to give me a half-used roll tape so I could wrap my finger. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.

Incredibly good food and high end drinks which was a surprise for an all inclusive resort. All the staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. This is quite a small hotel within the much larger El Dorado complex and is very friendly and intimate. We had a lovely 5 nights here and plan to return.

This Resort offers an incredibly unique experience to adult travelers. The Staff Service was top shelf and the mix of people staying there were the best. It’s not a huge resort with only 43 or so rooms. However HBR is located in between two sister resorts where we enjoyed excellent dining out. Best of both worlds.
