Holland Inn Hotel

The room was not that cheap due London Marathon. The room was facing the busy road and traffic heard all night. The room was beside the front door and opening and slamming shut. Many nights hear people talking in the front window 😡😡. Never had a fridge in the room. The floor was not swept the whole time I was there!!

No Window!!! Had to use the AC. Not a room a cell!!

Small room with private bathroom. Very basic. Small fridge, TV, kettle with tea and coffee. No lift. Practical for a few days.

Staff friendly. Free wifi Bathroom clean. Bedroom dusty Curtains dirty Fridge next to head in bed, noisy. Hot room even in 13 degrees outside but there is a wall fan to help with that. Mattress quality very poor but bedding and towels very nice quality and clean. Bathroom door doesn’t close properly as door doesnt fit the frame. Outside the property were old used mattresses stacked which looked a mess I will say this was a very cheap room but standards should still be met.

Very small rooms. No elevator and the stairs are narrow.

Good inexpensive stay, located very near transit to get wherever you want. Good stuff: comfy bed. Kettle in room. Hangers. 24-hour front desk is nice. Other: typically small (I don't expect bigger for this type of place). Along with every other hotel in UK that's not a massive chain, poor water pressure. No real complaints. For the price, worth it.

You get what you pay for. £80 for a Saturday night. When we arrived we saw that to enter you needed a key card which is great for security but when we arrived there was no one on the front desk so we could not get in. We rang the hotels phone number multiple times and no one answered, we also emailed incase someone saw that but couldn't hear the phone. We waited around 10 minutes before someone came to the door to let us in. The rooms are warm when you check in but do have AC which we used. Rooms are smaller than we expected and ours did not even have a window, but as we were only staying 1 night and as we only used the room as a place to sleep it was fine. They did provide tea and coffee making and toiletries which was great, and we plugged the fridge in when we arrived and it kept our drinks cold. The beds were two folding bed, the mattress were ok however the duvet and pillows have seen better days and would benefit from updating. 1 thin pillow each and the duvet was literally a duvet with no cover and 1 was ripped but as we were staying just 1 night we didn't complain about it. The bathroom looked clean and on the surface like it was new. Our shower head was broken and once turned on didn't want to stay held up so we showered holding the shower head rather than it in its support. The shower head, part of the trim came off during my shower. Is it the most amazing hotel? No. Can you spend 1 night here just to sleep? Yes. Great for a night but probably not for any longer.

Booked to go carnival. Cheap for London but the room was a box size. It was clean but curtains were stained. My door couldn’t lock and someone keys were able to open my door which was scary. Couldn’t tell staff because no one wasn’t available. No parking

My room was facing the street, very noise due to traffic. The room next to front door. Hear people coming in and door slamming going in and out!!!! There were people talking at night near my front window!!!! Actually there was and argument in front for about 20 minutes of yelling. The floor was not swept for the todays I was there!!!!! The pictures from the website look better. There was a lovely lady and gentleman on the reception and they offered luggage storage abeit in the reception area. The room was serviced every day. Clean towels every day and clean sheets. There was a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. There was a fan in the room. The decor could have been better but overall it was in a good location and it was somewhere to sleep.

quite possibly the worst hotel i’ve stayed in for cleanliness but the receptionist was helpful and location was good room was small bathroom smelt mildew and damp hot and no air flow dust behind radiator paint coming off the walls

The room stank of sewage.

‘Hotel’ is absolutely awful. Do not stay here! Old, dirty, and smelly. I will never stay again. I originally had a single room on the front of the hotel. Road noise was horrendous, could not have slept. I paid to move to another room at the back of the hotel. Stains on the bedsheets, marks on the curtains, layers of dust on the skirting board, damp on the walls. Could hear everything going on in the bedroom above me. Just awful.

Very clean and close to the Design museum and public transport.

Perfect for a short stay in London. Clean. Linen and towels clean and good quality.

This hotel is quite nice. The room I had was small but clean and comfortable.

Room was covered in mould. Bathroom door wouldnt close due to mould damage. Walls were filthy, TV didn't work and a horrible smell of mould in the room. Doesn't look at all like the photos online. Very disappointing.

The basement room we were given was damp, there was mould on the walls and lots of signs of water damage. Bedding and towels also damp. We asked for another room but were advised they were full. There were several other issues with the room such as unsafe electrical sockets and the smoke alarm had been stuffed with Nescafé coffee wrappers too. When we raised the issue of the state of the room the staff didn’t offer any response or seem to care at all, didn’t offer any refund. Raised the issue with Expedia as the room pictures and description on the website are not accurate and would not recommend staying there at all.

The hotel was welcoming and the room pretty clean if you don't look too closely. The room which I shared with my son was very small. You could not walk to the bathroom unless someone sat on the bed. The bathroom was clean and nice and there were tea and coffee making facilities and a much needed fan - so all the basics were covered. BUT - the traffic noise never stopped even in the middle of the night. The hotel is on an extremely busy road and even with the window closed it barely took the edge off it. So although the hotel is fine for a cheap overnight stay - you will absolutely need earplugs.

The room was seriously tiny, just space for 2 people to stand up and the bed. But it was wondetfully clean, the shower worked a dream, excellent smart tv and there was a good view over gardens. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good value for the low price charged. Staff were

A dingy room in a cellar - bathroom was a wet room so after a shower the toilet was out of bounds for half an hour. It was cheap, thankfully only had to stay one night !

Convenient location for Oplympia. Drab entrance, not very inviting reception, room 20 very small, tv did'nt work, reception failed to rectify or seek assistance to rectify. No breakfast avaialable, when I asked any where local the local pub was suggested however that was closed. To be honest its a cheap hotel and thats as much as expected

Room was extremely small, hardly enough to stand up beside the bed. Bed itself was terrible, sunken in the middle so both people rolling together. Bathroom was a wet shower so always full of water and the trim was falling apart from water damage. Room just felt dirty. Just all in all, not well taken care of and feels like the owners don’t care much for thier rooms. Only positive was close location to Tube

Perfect for the position, next to the station,but the rooms are too small

Located on a very busy road we had a tiny dark room on the ground floor with a sash window opening into the street which had to be opened for ventilation, so the room was very noisy with traffic noise all night. Though tiny the room has a double bed with a lumpy mattress, kettle, TV, fan and an ensuite with shower (very difficult to control temperature), toilet (which didn't flush well) and a sink with a plug which didn't fit. Receptionist was helpful. The room was otherwise as described and the price was fair for a central location, but the overall experience was disappointing.

Well, good bits, the room was clean, and the water hot and plentiful. The room odd shaped, and tiny. The road noise though was the killer, t outside is a night drag race, where the young and useless, along with the odd emergency vehicles doing their best to keep all awake. Good for stone deaf midgets.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help. They assisted us with more than one thing during our stay, especially one woman who works there and a young man named Hani, who was exceptionally helpful. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Whatever we asked for, they provided right away. Their warm attitude and great service made our stay even better. Highly recommended!

Nice location. Tatty, and in need of refurnishing. Rotting skirting boards, for example. Hugely awkward check in, in front of my 13 year old daughter. He wanted ID for both of us, to prove she was my daughter, and not some form of night time companion. What 13 year old carries ID around ?! In the end her bank card worked, and matched my last name... if that's their policy, I feel I should have been told in advance, and it be done in a discreet way. I booked it months before the stay, it wasn't like it was a last minute impulse. Great intentions to protect young vulnerable people, but managed horribly.

The hotel made us wait gputs to check in saying that expedia had overlooked the hotel and made us wait ill 6 am to check in when another guest left and promised us a refund that in the morning they offered another free night amd we never got any mobey back . The staff basically gave our room to another guest and made us wait put all night outside. They lied about the overbooking. Horrible experience as my fiance had to go to the hospital to do kimotherapy and she didn't go because she was exhausted.

When I got to the hotel it was closed. The are two phone numbers one in the door saying to contact for assistance- when I phoned this number the phone was switched off, I left voicemails which no one returned. There was another phone number on the sign, which is also the same as Expedia and this number just rang out. There are key boxes on the doors, but no one left me a key or sent me a code if the hotel had had to close in an emergency. I was there left on my own with no access to the hotel room I had booked and paid for. I had to then phone another hotel and check in at premium price late at night or would have had nowhere to stay, nearly a week later and still no one had returned my calls or sent me a refund!

Terrible staff services. They put us in a room that was smelling and was not the one on the picture that we booked. Shower water was very hot doesn't adjust to cold. When we complained the staff service lady was aggressive.

This was an emergency booking and I'm glad I chose them. The gentleman in reception was very polite and friendly, the lady was kind and helpful and offered to look after my suitcase after checking out so I could visit the area. Very positive experience.

I always enjoy my stay and get treated very well by the staff, especially the beautiful lady on reception. The manager is a gentleman and they do their best to make sure guest are comfortable. The rooms are warm and clean, and location is easy to get to where you need to go.

Perfectly placed for Olympia London. Staff very attentive, clean too, all I need for two nights away from home for work.

I was worrying about the room condition when I saw the comments left online. But the room I got was on level 1 and actually quite adequate considering the price and location. The room is reasonably clean and has most things expected for a hotel room. As I was looking for a room for a one night stay, it is quite cost efficient and convenient to go to the central London. As the property is by a road, I can hear the traffic. I guess it’s okay for a short stay.

This place is all about location 1min walk to Kensington olympia and 10mins to shepherds bush, hammersmith or Kensington high street perfect for if. You need almost dead centre at a reasonanle price

This is a relatively cheap hotel and you get what you pay for! Room was very small but did have an en-suite (very dodgy seat!). Quite busy street so it was noisy. Good supply of coffee/tea and toiletries. 10 minute walk to underground and good bus service. I would recommend if you wish a budget option and don’t intend to spend much time in the hotel.

The only thing to like is the location. Other than that the place was not really worth the money. The rooms look nothing like in the pictures. Very small. My bathroom was so small I couldn´t stand in front of the sink and had to brush my teeth standing sideways. No airconditioning as advertised, only a fan. And the room was quite hot at night. No fridge. As for cleanliness, the room wasn´t dirty but it wasn´t spotless either. I noticed in other reviewes that people rated the hotel staff as friendly, I´d rather say they were indiferent. Restaurant was closed.

Tiny room, TV not working. Charge for water, no breakfast provision (always welcome as an option even if there is a charge). No amenities nearby.
