The room was large, clean, and well-maintained, and the food was ok+. However, the most significant issue was the severe lack of available seating in the pool area. The majority of the pool seating consisted of cabanas that required an additional fee. Furthermore, staff members removed guests' personal items to free up loungers, in hopes of receiving extra tips. Finding a free chair to relax by the pool was a constant struggle.

Pool was great. The infinity pool that is just 30 seconds to the ocean is the most amazing part of this entire property. If you prioritize a great pool than LIVE Aqua is worth it. Beach, food and staff all were average. The actual restaurants though were way nicer than you average AI resort. They all had their own unique vibe and felt special not low budget in the least. The rooms with a veranda were the best we’ve ever experienced. Modern, spacious and amazingly never humid and wet inside.Weve been to many AI’s and LIVE Aqua gets a solid A over-all.

Live Aqua was a beautiful resort. The location is perfect as it is conveniently located near the airport. I cannot say more about the staff. They went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and fun. They was a perfect balance of relaxing and entertainment. One complaint I have is the cabana rentals around the pool and on the beach. You have to rent the cabanas for $85/day. Otherwise the lounging chairs were first come first serve. There were an abundance of cabanas, but not enough loungers. I feel at an all inclusive, the cabanas should also be first come first serve. Our group felt this was a way to get more money out of us. They should have been included in the all inclusive package. The food was delicious everywhere. Including the restaurant Carnivore, which is not included on the all inclusive package. However, be aware of the price on the menu. A group of 8, had a $1600 bill. A bit pricey for what was on the menu. The portions of steak were very large, could have shared a steak between two people. Thank you for such a great stay!

Old school updated property. Still some work to do, the food at all the of onsite restaurants was very good. Only two indoor, others open air, very hot. Plenty of pool area and seating, downside, they charge for a lot of the lounge beds around the pool, not so good. The lounge pool with swim up bar, only area where some of the beds are no charge, quiet and shady, our favorite area.

Second time staying here, and we love it. Wish they had more activities. The only big complaint i have is, the week we stayed they were doing construction on the room next to us. It was horrible. Sounded like our wall was being hit with a loud jack hammer. Thank goodnesss we were ocean side for about 80 % of it.

The only complaint I have was the pool hours. Our favorite pool which was the coolest temperature closed at 6 pm and the main pool at 8 however the main pool was so hot it felt like a bathtub. Due to safety we planned on utilizing the resort as much as possible and so the pool was our main fun and having to leave the pool so early was a bummer

Everything was great other than the room not being as cool as I would like and they didn’t have as many free chairs and day beds by the pool as they did have rental cabanas. Almost forcing you to have to rent a cabana. With how much I payed for the entire trip for an all inclusive I find it a little unnecessary to then ask to pay additional to enjoy the pool or beach area!

Staff was very friendly , very clean rooms & property. Would return. Beach was beautiful. Quiet relaxing vacation. Only complaint would have been the lack of music at the pool ( only what seemed to be elevator music except during aqua fit) if you are looking for a party this is not the resort. If you are looking for quiet you will love. Spa was wonderful. Highly reccomend this resort.

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was hopping with music and entertainment and was enjoyable. The beach sand was like powder and not rocky at all. We had the ocean front room and the view was spectacular of the resort, beach and ocean. . The room was very modern with cordless phone charger on the clock. Also, room has USB port charges. Blackout drapes closed electonically.

Una experiencia muy decepcionante no lo recomiendo en lo absoluto Estuve una semana hospedado en este hotel y, lamentablemente, la experiencia dejó mucho que desear desde varios aspectos. El desayuno fue exactamente el mismo todos los días, con muy pocas opciones de alimentos, lo cual rápidamente se volvió monótono. En cuanto a las bebidas, fue frustrante que en los bares constantemente te negaran acceso a ciertas etiquetas (como etiqueta negra) y te mandaran al bar del lobby, algo poco práctico y sin sentido. La limpieza fue otro gran problema: en la habitación encontramos cucarachas y también vimos muchas en los pasillos. Esto es inaceptable. La propiedad en general se ve muy descuidada, con mobiliario viejo, mal mantenido y un ambiente que transmite abandono. Además, más del 50% de los camastros en el área de alberca eran de paga, lo cual me parece totalmente abusivo. Los gratuitos eran camastros blancos de plástico, de muy baja calidad. En resumen, el servicio, las instalaciones y la calidad general del hotel están muy por debajo de lo que uno espera. No lo recomiendo en lo absoluto!

I really enjoyed my time being here. I was surprised with the location (how convenient to get to the mall by walk). Also, everything seemed clean and neat. However, the first room I used had a broken thermometer (I did not realize it until I changed my room). And the second room I upgraded for ocean front had a broken mirror in the washroom where I had to use a towel to hold it. These were not a really a big deal for me so I did not complain. One thing I would suggest here is offering the reservation system. This was the only thing that will stop me from going back. All the restaurants were like 1hr waiting. I do not understand why the hotels do not allow the guests to book in advance for the restaurants.

Hello, I would like to file a complaint regarding my recent stay and request compensation. My experience at the property was extremely disappointing. The service I received felt noticeably different and less accommodating, and at times it felt like I was being treated unfairly or differently, possibly because I am Asian. I don’t make this claim lightly, but the way staff interacted with me compared to other guests was uncomfortable and unacceptable. On top of that, the transportation service that was included with my reservation was supposed to take me from the hotel to the airport. Nobody arrived to pick me up, even though it was confirmed. Because of this, I was forced to pay out of pocket for a taxi at the last minute. This caused significant stress and extra expenses during my trip. I believe this situation warrants compensation for the poor service and for the transportation cost I had to cover myself. I am requesting: • A refund or partial refund for the stay due to unacceptable service • Reimbursement for the taxi fare to the airport • Additional compensation for the inconvenience and treatment I experienced I can provide details, receipts, and any additional information if needed. The resort was clean, well staffed, offered numerous dining options and pools. The food was excellent. The staff was attentive. They offered room service in addition to all the dining options, which is unusual for an all inclusive resort. We did not like the initial push for a time share from the concierge and it took a VERY forceful “no” to make that stop. We found you also couldn’t make dinner reservations without a butler, but we either went very early or very late, which was not an issue, as we weren’t generally hungry until late. There was also a dinner option to order take out sushi which we did a couple of times. We also made friends with the manager of the wait staff and he consistently made reservations for us at our preferred restaurants when we asked. It is located across the street from a large, clean, high end shopping mall which was convenient, and was a short bus ride from other local shopping, and Mercado 28. We really loved every bit of our stay and would highly recommend this resort.

Wow what an amazing vacation at Live Aqua! It surpassed my expectations. (Ricardo, Alan, Stephany) They must be the most hard-working, efficient, friendliest staff of anywhere I have stayed. The place is beautiful, very well kept, very clean. The food was very good. Our favorite meal was at Azur the mediterranean restaurant. Although many said MB was the best, our party of 4 disagreed. Food was bland and menu choices not great. The Mexican party they threw for us on Thursday was unreal! The food, the beautiful dancers, singers, really brought the Mexican culture there and it was one of our favorite nights. Breakfast at Siete was amazing with choices to make anyone happy. The gentleman at the smoothie station was so fun to talk to! He talked to everyone in line and was so delightful! We also ordered the room service and the food was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The pool and the beach were spectacular. Enough chairs and beds. The pool was very clean and the staff is on point keeping it that way. The service with drinks at the pool and beach were amazingly attentive. They work SO hard. The bartenders at the bar with the swings were so much fun! We had a great time there laughing and socializing with them. The only complaint is that there never seemed to be enough towels and I'd have to find the towel guy. The only place for improvement was the Aqua Club check in and out took so long! The other couple we traveled with were in and out faster!

The check in process for this resort was awful. After having an unforeseen delayed travel day we were taken to the "5th Floor Club" like it was something special. The attendant then took our passports and disappeared for over half an hour--big red flag. All we wanted to do was get check in, go to our room, and get situated. After an hour they finally got us checked in. Hands down worst check in experience ever. They need to make this better. Overall, a nice place however. Would be nice to have a lunch buffet like they have at breakfast for ease.

This was our second visit, as we loved Live Aqua the first time. An older male host at Azur was very clearly dividing guest based on race and it really ruined our night. It was so clear what he was doing. Even though there were plenty of empty tables in the center area with table lamps and wonderful views, we were sat in a dark corner with the only other couple who were not caucasian. The table wasn't even fully set up and the waiter rushed to bring us a flickering lamp after we sat down. Caucasian couples that lined up behind us were sat in the area with all the other caucasians, far away from us. It was like there was an air bubble between us and them. It was so embarrassing to witness and also humiliating. I never thought I'd see this happen in Mexico. It happened three times, so it wasn't an isolated incident. We are deeply saddened and disappointed because we waited a whole year with hopes of visiting Live Aqua again.

We travel to Cancun every year and have stayed at Live Aqua for the 6th time this year. We tried other resorts in the past but Live Aqua is definitely better than the others, when comparing the overall price to the quality of the food (and all the options of restaurants on property), rooms, pool area, service, beach area, etc. What stands out most is the HIGH quality of the service and friendliness! The location is great being right across the street from the mall and very close vicinity to great restaurants, in case you'd like to leave the resort. The ONLY thing that could use improvement is updating the lobby/common areas. Not "bad" by any means. In fact, I'd give everything and staff a 5+ star and the feel of the lobby/common areas a 4 star.

Some staff where great and super attentive, others were just neutral. No lunch or dinner buffet at this resort which is a disappointment at this price point, and breakfast buffet was inferior to some lesser resorts. The drinks are too watered down and not any better from some more average resorts, again at this price point I expected more quality drinks. The smoothie bar (served by Marco) was amazing, all fresh veggies and fruit freshlyade to your liking. The decor and restaurant ambiances were fantastic, like real reaturants instead of cookie cutter all inclusive restaurants, but the food being a hit and miss with some amazing and a few very underwhelming ones. Property is at a Prime beach location in Cancun with some of the best pools. If you care beautiful wavy ocean. Compared to the murky and calmer waters in resorts more distant from the main hotel zone area. Activities less than other resorts. Steakhouse resutrant was paid, which just robs from the all inclusive vibe and experience you want to get when you book an all inclusive.

We are seasoned traveler's & this is a very nice resort with wonderful hard working staff! Dining options are very good, but only take reservations for dining if you upgrade $180 US per nite- otherwise you wait in line with a pager for an hour plus to eat or do the Buffet option. Hotel room is comfortable, clean & has a spa feel. A couple stocked supplies were missing but remedied quickly. Lovely kept grounds with several pools & cabanas to rent $90 US each day that comes with 20min foot massage. Overall give it 4.5 stars as there is always room for improvement.

Had a wonderful time at this resort. Place is beautiful and hotel was amenities was great. The only thing that did not earn a 5 star was one of the resturant "hidden garden" every dish was just simply too salty. Despite that we me and wife still very much enjoy live aqua and will return.

This is an excellent resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was great with a beautiful view of the Caribbean, and there were many, varied dining options with high quality food. I especially loved the stands in the garden area that served grilled ribs, chicken, hamburgers and more. Pro Tip: the drinks are poured kind of weak so ask for double shots.

Great property. 2nd time staying here. Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. All the food was so delicious. If you have the option to get access to the Aqua Club lounge on the 5th floor, do it!! It is totally worth it. We went there multiple times per day every day during our stay. They not only have top shelf full bar, but daily snacks for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to see Guillermo there, he took care of us and made our stay extra special. The pools were great and the room was clean fully stocked mini bar restocked daily with whatever drinks you ask for. Didn't try the spa facilities, but the gym area was great. Also there is a starbucks inside the gift shop which was very convenient. Sushi bar with made to order to-go rolls were great for either a pre-dinner or late night snack option. Favorite restaurant was MB, must try their infamous habanero soup in a bread bowl, totally worth the hype and bacon-wrapped filet miñon. Also the cevicheria with beach front oceans views was amazing, we went there maybe 3 times and each time everything we tried was made fresh and was delicious. Also, the Azur restaurant was very good. Went there twice for breakfast (great in the mornings when you want to skip the buffet( and once for dinner, also very good. Not a party vibe at this hotel, but if you're looking for rest and relaxation at a high-end luxury adults-only resort with a chill vibe with excellent food and service, this is the place

Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff were fabulous and super helpful. The room was fantastic and food was good. Housekeeping took great care of our room and we were never without anything. Great beach and pools as well. The only thing that I didn’t care for were some hidden optional expenses. For example, cabanas must be rented daily and there are a lot of them, which makes finding lawn chairs with shade more difficult than the typical all inclusive. Also, most restaurants had what was included and then optional add-ons like other wines. Lastly, one restaurant isn’t included at all in the all inclusive pricing. I haven’t encountered as much optional additional charges at other all inclusives and wish I had known all that when I booked.

This was an amazing property. We are so glad we booked here based on other’s reviews. The customer service was top notch, the best found in our travels. The food was great with many different options. For all inclusive food the choices were diverse. We highly recommend the fine dining experience at MB. We went twice during our stay. Again, we highly recommend.

El hotel y la ubicación excelente. Es un hotel todo incluido pero hay muchas cosas en el hotel que tienen costo adicional y no hay suficientes de ocupación libre. Por ejemplo, en la alberca o en la playa para tener un buen lugar hay que pagar adicional. La comida excelente, sin embargo, no hay servicio de bar después de las 6pm en las albercas, todo cierra muy temprano y la calidad de bebidas que se ofrecen no está a premium. Es una barra libre de destilados de baja gama, en los bares de las albercas, tienen limitados los destilados de buena calidad.
