We enjoyed munching on the free popcorn that was available in the evening! The grounds needed a little sprucing up and the water in the pool needed help. But the room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was tasty.

Really only one handicap spot by front door. So inconvenient. Big guy at desk was rude about it and sure didn’t try to make it better. Food okay. Room great. Great price.

The heated pool was not heated at all and the sauna didn’t work at all. The evening popcorn & then cookies were very good and much appreciated. Nice seating for complimentary breakfast.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast area was comfortable with plenty of homey touches. Be aware if you are traveling with a trailer or a motor coach call before booking. There are no trailer signs posted in the parking lot and we were contacted by the hotel making us aware of limited parking space.

Hotel condition is okay, but not great. It could use a makeover. Carpets in public areas are visibly worn. Sink drain in our room was extremely slow. Breakfast was okay. Only one elevator for two upper floors.

There was black mold on the upper wall and ceiling in our bathroom. There wasn’t any hooks to hang your cloths on while bathing. Or your towel after bathing. We told them about the mold and they were going to tell maintenance. But wasn’t addressed when we left. We stayed 2 nights.

Staff friendly, especially Stephanie, warm and inviting at the front desk. This is a very dog friendly hotel, several options to walk the dog pn grass, either side of the hotel; nice location. But read on... This hotel needs deep cleaning, we stayed in a 'dog room' and it was not very clean, specifically the carpet and the bathroom floor, it was gross. The ceiling above the bed had brown splatter marks, unidentified substance. The breakfast food is acceptable, a variety of items to choose from. But... its also very dirty, the walls need cleaning, splatter marks, chipped paint, dent marks, dirty floors, carpet, and tables. There are old crumbs left on the food counters, its not clean by any means, and to top it off, the food attendant did not wear gloves. Ewww

This Hotel was so dirty and gross. The Tub had mold in the corners. There was hair all over the bathroom floor,dirt and trash in all of the corners in the bathroom. The furniture hadn't been dusted in a very long time. It was wiped but only in the front. There was trash in the halls in bags that was sitting there for 2 days. The eating area had splashes of food all over the floor and cabnets. The ice machines were dirty or Not working.

Our stay was overall very nice, only things me and my partner noticed is the room was not throughly cleaned before our visit. There were urine stains on the floor by the toilet, there was a random opened sugar packet by the sink in the bathroom, there appeared to be black mold on the ceiling above the shower in the bathroom, and the tops of the bed frame were a bit dusty. Other than that the hotel continental breakfast, and the overall service was pretty nice!

Disappointed after checking in to see urine stains all over the toilet and floor after laying almost $300 for one night. The rest of the room was clean but after a 15 hour drive we were hoping for a clean bathroom.

My son had some bites on his face a day after we left, then a few days later, both my wife and I started noticing them. We found out that it was bed bugs. When we called the hotel, we were told the room is shut down and has been treated, so it seems like they knew and did not contact us. We were told we would be reimbursed for the stay, and they charged us a second time instead. I would not suggest this location to anyone.

Front Desk was nice! We got into our room bed was wrinkled and had hairs all over it. Pillows were disheveled. Felt like room was not actually cleaned that beds were just remade after other clients visit. There was grainy stuff on our sheets. Black dog hair in bathroom. We just really felt like room was dirty.

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Durango, Colorado, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The amenities were impressive, particularly the sauna, which was at the perfect temperature and made for a very relaxing addition to my stay. The breakfast was also well-prepared and offered a good variety of options, which I appreciated. The one downside was the thin walls in the rooms, which made it difficult to fully relax. We could hear the guest next door snoring, which was a bit disruptive at night. However, the staff was friendly, and the overall cleanliness and comfort of the hotel were excellent. The hotel is very dated! The lighting is old fixtures & lights. There are so many sign’s about this & that it is annoying! The bed had top sheet & bed coverlet. The sheets were gray… A problem with the remote for the television. Old furniture, no water pressure, dingy black out curtain. Along with drapery hardware coming loose. Switch plates &hardware that has seen better days. I paid 880.00 for 3 nights. A premium for the the horrible condition this place is in. I tried finding somewhere else to stay. But The town was booked! Never again!

Property was close to downtown Durango. The complimentary popcorn and cookies were great. On the downside, our room had a slow drain in the bathroom sink, and the fan on the air conditioner rattled which was annoying especially when we tried to go to sleep.

Room had a bad smell when we arrived, we bought spray when we went to the store to use in the room; when we were gone all day the next day and returned the smell was still there; we were due to check out on Sunday but decided to leave on Saturday, we couldn’t do much due to bad weather that was coming, we spoke with night crew at the front desk and were told it was ok but when we went to check out in the morning, the person working the front desk said we couldn’t but that he would honor it since the night staff had ok’d it but they were going to get written up, he was very rude about it and saying we had to stay; we stayed the same place with no problems last year and actually checked out early then as well with no issues but will not stay there again; breakfast was good but no room to sit anywhere

We were greeted by one of the friendliest receptionists I ever met. Every employee throughout our 4 day stay was friendly and helpful. The breakfast guy at 6:30am was smiling and looked like he loved his job. I don't usually do these reviews, but it truly was a great experience.

Very good service by hotel staff. Beds were great. Not very far from the train and historic downtown. We would stay there again. We did not eat there but did have some fresh popcorn in the evening in the lobby. There was ice water available there as well.

The price was right! We enjoyed a week in Durango staying here. It's just a few minutes from downtown. A hot breakfast with many options is available every morning. Plus freshly made popcorn all day,, along with warm cookies served every afternoon. We experienced a ittle highway traffic noise in our particular room, and we could hear our neighbors through the walls. Overall it was a good place to hang our hats for the week!

It was a family trip for 3 days, we choose this location because of the included breakfast. Unfortunately the breakfast was always out of food. There was no milk for the cereal/oatmeal, no syrup for the waffles, often no coffee, the scramble eggs were being refilled, however it would take a long time and the texture felt jello like. Dining are had 3 trash cans, which were overflowing in trash, there was only 1 worker attending the breakfast area with poor customer service skills. Hotel is family friendly and the evening staff were very friendly. Room service is upon request, I did not use room service for my stay. The room was clean upon arrival, but the room did have an old smell.
