Hotel needs completely makeover. Noise from other rooms and pub its unbearable. Matres was so old and soft. Wasn't a great experience overall. Staff was nice and helpful. Prized too high for service. Poor maintenance all around

Had a family room, it was absolutely massive compared to other hotel family rooms. The beds were super comfortable, everything you could need was available in the room. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. But my favourite thing had to be the view, it was breathtaking.

Location, parking, staff, restaurant, bar and beds were all great. Clean too but the building is old and could do with some updating. Price reflected this though so not an issue. Staff were above great and really made the experience pleasurable. Views of Plymouth Sound were spectacular. Across the road you are instantly on Dartmoor. Being able to take our dogs was the best about it all. Someone even brought their horse and tethered them in the small field whilst they came in for a drink. Thank you we will visit again.
