We arrived and was told the elevator was out and we would have to carry our bags upstairs. They didnt have any rooms on the first floor. The front desk said the elevator had been out for months waiting on parts. We should have been told this when I called to confirm our reservation. Also, no hand soap in the room. I asked the front desk and he said they were out but managed to find one for me in the back. Another issue was my sister’s room had food left in the microwave plus no hand soap. Makes me wonder if the rooms were cleaned appropriately. We go through Roswell couple times a year and will find another hotel next time.

Property is under renovations was alerted thru expedia no pool roof was leaking in hall way had to dodge trash cans and mop buckets catching water from above was still charged 180 like it was some put together pool accessible place the breakfast was good tho not worth 180

This was a nice hotel with decent staff and rooms. The property was under construction and that was not disclosed be Expedia or by the Hampton main site. The room was newly remodeled and comfortable but there was a construction zone outside the window. It will probably be very nice once construction is complete. Also, there is no longer a pool at this hotel.

The property was clean, friendly staff and above average breakfast. Main complaint was that they advertise a pool and hot tub and both were closed. After a long day of driving i need the spa. There was a lot of traffic noise there as well.

This hotel is under construction. No amenities not even ice. This was not specified in the description when booking. The construction banging, no pool, no gym, no ice machine. Very disappointed and sort of angry about it. Could have stayed across the street.

A good property in need of a renovation/upkeep. Other than the wallpaper literally peeling from the wall in my room it was otherwise a good property and room. Good breakfast, good internet/tv. Pool was okay (hot tub and sauna don't work). Some TLC needed but otherwise a pleasant place to stay.

The main thing was the hotel was being remodeled so the pool was closed which was a bummer- I would have gone to another hotel if I knew that. The room was nice but I can tell it was just finished. There was no extra bedding for the couch bed (which we were able to get from the front) we had to get extra toilet paper as we ran out right away. And the microwave wasn’t plugged it- we had to move it to plug it in. It will be a nice hotel when the remodel is done, but it would have been nice to have a discount for the inconvenience. The breakfast was great.

This hotel is under renovation/construction. Wires were hanging from the ceiling, the pool is closed, and chunks of the outside wall are missing. The breakfast is also modified since they don’t have kitchen facilities. Construction starts at 7 am and continues to 7 pm. You have to maneuver around the construction areas including the main lobby. The first thing the receptionist said was that we could try to ask for a refund if we didn’t want to stay there, but no guarantees since it was a third party booking. I would not go back until construction is complete.

I was just passing through the town, and I really like the location. However, I did find a bedbug the morning of my departure. The staff was nice enough, but they kind of just shrugged their shoulders and said to go through Hotels.com to get a refund. The facilities are definitely in need of a renovation. I will say that the manager was friendly, just thought of taking a bedbug home to my house is enough to warrant a low rating

Save your money and get an average room. Spent the extra for a little more space it wasn't worth it. The bathtub had dirty footprints in it. The furniture was broken. Looked like someone punched . The noise from the upstairs room was unreal.

Not what I expect from a Hampton. Original room smelled like "stale cigarette smoke". We were moved to a 2nd room that had some strange white stuff on an area of the carpet in the main room & some loose tags on the night stand. Bathroom looked like it had been cleaned so we just kept this room. Remote for TV didn't work but they gave us one that did work. Wall paper was peeling in both rooms we were in.

The hotel overall was good. The man at the front desk was friendly and it was in a great location in relation to all the attractions in Roswell. Overall great value and pricing. The only cons were the construction going on all day at the time of our stay (but that is obviously temporary), and it looked like the floor in our room wasn’t vacuumed because we saw a raisin and a peanut on the carpet. A swiffer mop was left in the bathroom as well. Overall great trip in Roswell though.

Hotel lobby, breakfast area and hallways were all good. Our room at extensive deferred maintenance with peeling wallpaper, back patch work on wallpaper, poor caulking around shower, missing grout in bath, dirty toilet bowl, bed linens were sloppily put on. Very disappointing as this was our 2nd Hampton Inn stay this week that was far below its former standards. Step it up or close it down.

We were in town for UFO fest. Front desk was nice, hotel was in bad shape though. I had no hot water, pull out bed was saggy, toilet flushed not good. Room was outdated and the tv was in a weird position. Overall it was a safe place to sleep just needs some TLC. For the price I would book somewhere else until it’s updated.

I've been with HHilton honors and using this hotel for years, when it's affordable. Location is good. Front desk staff are excellent. Room design is great. Sad to see the decline. Refrigerator door was not closing. nobody fixed it or swapped it out for two days and then we left. We had to keep it closed with our bags or furniture. The bathroom door was jammed and the handle was loose. Water pressure not great. Quality of breakfast was very average. Scrambled eggs tasted weird and omelette was hard. Sad to see the decline over the years.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast and breakfast area, good laundry facilities. We booked a family room with 2 queens and a sofa bed, the room was large and spacious. Would recommend this hotel for families.

Everything was clean and ready. Room was a little awkward layout. The light switch for the shower/toilet was outside of the room across the separate sink area next to the closet. Furniture swallows up the room. Otherwise, everything clean and good condition.

Older hotel needs updating, perhaps some new carpet. Grout in bathroom floor needs a good cleaning. My main objection was older under the window wall A/C heater, very noisy, at times sounded like a plane taking off.

The hotel was average for a Hampton Inn. Definitely needs a revamp. Most of the tv’s are dated and did not work. Carpet is very worn. Breakfast was pretty good. However they need a new toaster. Only one side worked and toasters are cheap.

We asked to have a shuttle to the airport arranged for the next morning. The person at the desk said it was set up. Later in the evening I confirmed with her that out was set because I hadn’t seen her write it down earlier. She assured me it was arranged. The next morning I checked in at the front desk a few minutes prior to the set time. They had no record of our request. That being said, the desk clerk called the shuttle driver who was able to get to the hotel in about 15 minutes. Kudos to another employee, Nicole, chef and bartender who gave outstanding service and went out of her way to help us.

Having new employees working by themselves is no acceptable. The young lady at the front desk had no idea how to check in , switched me to a room that was not filling my new needs, double charged me and getting me to a room that has no TV for my son entertainment clear signs that I hit an out of order room.

Front desk person was SO AMAZING, he was super nice and helpful, unfortunately I'm terrible with names but I wish I could give him a shout out by name because he deserves the recognition. Everyone else is super nice too. Hotel is on the older side but it's very clean and comfortable, hair dryer didn't work but front desk was able to get one for me that did, beds are comfortable, pull out beds don't work like they are supposed to but we were able to make it work. Breakfast was very decent, they had omelettes, hard boiled eggs, potatoes, bacon, yogurt, cereal, different breads (sweet, bagels, etc), scones, juices, coffee, tea, oatmeal, waffles. Overall a very good experience and a great plus was the Texas Roadhouse next to the property. My family and I really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Staff were great. The location is convienent to sites. Breakfast was good. There were minor cosmetic things in the room that could be fixed. That isn't something we consider a concern, but I know some are picky. The area for this hotel seemed a bit safer than some of the other hotels around. There seemed to be a lot of shady characters in town looking for opportunity. I didn't feel unsafe here. Like always, mind your situational awareness.

The Hampton in Roswell is delightful. A full, wonderful spread for breakfast every morning. Friendly and helpful staff. A good area for dogs, as well as nice amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Ran out of towels in pool area, lots of people there and staff took the dirty towels and didnt replenish, next morning still no towels in there, hot tub bubbles didnt work and sauna room says closed, room was nice but you could here running around in room above, room next door had a dog that kept barking, sink didnt drain well, shower area looked like crap, breakfast had an hour left and ran out of milk and oj and not replaced, only had chocolate waffle mix and most people eat the regular waffles, was disappointed with these things especially from it being a national chain

It was very uncomfortable the bed was hard and the people were rude. Breakfast was horrible I opened a cream cheese for my beagle and it had mold in it. My experience was horrible there and I’ll never stay at a Hampton Inn again
