We had a room with 2 Queen beds, 2 kids and 2 adults, the picture on the website made the room look bigger than it actually was. It was a little crowded for us. The pool had flies in the room and did not look sanitary, the continental breakfast did not look appealing.

Staff was friendly but the hotel was seriously run down pool and hot tub paster and drain guards missing, hotel smelled bad and like pot it rained and the roof leaked all over the bed and ruined our computer room was dirty hair on the walls, stains everywhere, bathtub was cracked all over the bottom and only response was were sorry definitely not work the $140 rate per night will never stay there again

The hotel is nice, but it being 102 for 3 days and pool and whirlpool both closed. It need a bench outside so you can sit and watch sunset or rise. And hotel need a little up grade.

Overall a pleasant stay. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. Regular oatmeal would be easy to provide and would give concerned guests a healthy choice. Room and beds were decent, however, property felt somewhat run down. Wallpaper peeling in the hallways. Cigarette butts strewn on the ground around entryways. Pool & spa closed for repair. Felt like a bit of extra effort by the maintenance staff would give it the boost it needed.

The dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. The amount of dust and dander made us all itchy. Hair strands stuck under door and on walls. So gross. It was like inch wide and over a footlong. I need if serious deep cleaning.

I am a LaQuinta and Wyndham member and this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. The carpets were dirty, towels were wet, the sheets were stained, the floor had dirt in places, and there was a roach on the wall.

A number of little things. First the front desk person was chatting with friends outside making me wait a couple of minutes to check in. After I checked in she proceeded to go back outside to chat with her friends. The third floor hallway carpet looks like a disaster happened, it looks like it was bleached all over the place. It originally smelled like a mix of vomit and urine. Luckily by morning the smell was gone. The room’s carpet and floor was clearly not vacuumed.

I usually stay at La Quintana when I travel but this hotel was filthy. The first room looked like it had not been vacuumed for quite awhile. I requested another room and that room was the same. Very dirty. There was food under the couch and again floors not swept and carpets filthy. I did not feel safe or comfortable at this location. Very disappointing. I stay at another La Quinta the following day...it was clean, safe and very comfortable.

Our bathroom was dirty. The floor had hair on it. The shower curtain was dirty with stains. The hallways on the property were not vacuumed. It was very dirty and there are a lot of maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The first room that we were given smelled like smoke. It was on the first floor, room 120.

I’ve never been to a hotel where I had to ask the front desk for new sheets and pillow cases in order to make sure we had clean bedding. The sheets were dirty, there was a writing pen on the sheets when we turned down the comforter…. Meaning they weren’t changed. We ended up remaking the bed. The bathroom had a wad of gum on the floor, black mold on the ceiling, and brown stuff on the door. Worst place we’ve ever stayed.

The entire hotel is filthy and smells bad. Particularly the carpet in the lobbies and hallways. That should have been replaced several years ago. It could be cleaned by any of the several professional carpet cleaner businesses in Roswell but apparently has not been. The return air vents in the hallways were blocked with spider webs and accumulations of dust. Most staff seem to smoke or vape, and they do it directly adjacent to the front door, within sight of the posted "100% Smoke Free" signs. Our room wreaked when we checked in. Had to leave the second-floor window open and run the bathroom exhaust fan for several hours to clear the smell. We purchased an aerosol can of Lysol spray to kill the odors in the room. It is inconceivable that anyone would allow a hotel to get as filthy as this place is. I will never use Expedia again because the hotels just use it to extend the time between renovations of their rooms. Our bathroom had been painted but obviously hurriedly by an unskilled laborer. There was paint all over the tile baseboard. The tub filler and tub drain vent cover were badly corroded as well. That would cost about $10 to fix.

The beds were okay, the room the card scanner on the door was barely functional. We got two cards.. one wouldn't work on our room door (but would work on other hotel entries), and the other card took at least 10-15 tries each time to unlock the door; it just wouldn't read the card. The carpet in the room was horrible and looked to be installed by in a hurry or by the inexperienced. Breakfast was limited. and bad. Lobby was dirty.. stains in the carpet of the waiting areas—just a poorly managed La Quinta. The staff was one bright spot. They were great.

Not an amazing experience. The rooms looked like they had a thin coat of paint to mask only some of the dirt and marks on the walls. The bathroom had hair left from the last occupant, and only about 50% of the outlets were functional. While the hotel said it was a no smoking property, it smelled as if it was formerly a smoking property. It was fine. I wouldn’t stay there again

They had cancelled my 2 day reservation by the time I arrived and said they were overbooked. Even though I had called beforehand to confirm. I had to spend the night in the car!! The hotel said Expedia overbooks all the time!! The hotel front staff did not apologize. I received an email later from the manager since I emailed her about this and she apologized. According to an Expedia rep I should not be charged any charges for the hotel at all or any cancellation fees as I did not cancel and their computer system cancelled me.

The rooms were good and clean. The mirror was a bit foggy looking. The hallway coming to my room was dirty looking or maybe those were just stains everywhere. The lobby was nice and clean. The girl at check in was very nice. The morning crew was also very nice. They all said hello. What I loved the most about the staff was the fact they were never on their phones and they engaged with everyone. Not the breakfast girl. She wasn't very nice. Everyone else was great.

Front service attendant was very rude. I provided Reservation information, and she could not find it in her system. She was having issues with her system but instead of informing that she was not very helpful she was giving the feeling. Of you can go somewhere else. Instead of informing the problem. After about 45 minutes she finally said let me look for it and she found the reservation.

As for location, the property is excellent. I have a child attending NM Military Institute. La Quinta could not be in a better location for convenience. The room (#208) is a little run down; chipped paint, drilled holes (like 10) on the top of the main dresser and a small hole in the ceiling above my bed that made me wonder if I was being watched! Finally, the lobby smelled like dope when I walked in. Not a welcoming situation for the sober minded person.

This was a great experience. The location is perfect to all the tourist sites, restaurants, fast food, and large retailers if you want to bring small groceries to the room. Yeah, the carpets arent perfect like the other reviews mentioned, but the rooms are clean and safe. The pool was warm and the hot tub was a great temp. The breakfast was the typical something to hold you over until you start your day. Overall, this was a great spring break stay for me and the kids.

The curtains were torn in the King bedroom. Parking was really full due to people using it at the sports complex next door. The breakfast was gross and not many options. I’ve stayed at better La Quinta’s across the country. Wasn’t worth the cost in my opinion.

Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms smelled funky, floors were sticky, and carpets throughout the property were gross, and simple things like the garbage cans in the breakfast area were filthy. Furniture also was obviously worn and one of our beds didn’t even have sheets.

This trip was very good. I thought the breakfast that was served could have been better. Some days it was not a lot of choices. Coffee bar was great. Enjoyed the pool as it was very warm! Very pretty property that was very clean and well maintained.
