Cricklewood Lodge Hotel

Bed was too big for the room. This caused a problem using the toilet/shower, which was designed for an ultra slim body. Tv was fine, kettle, tea, coffee and milk was provided. Bought water for making tea.

No a/c, bed wasn't the most comfortable. Room was quiet from other guests, but since we were on ground level we got a lot of street noise, but that's not controllable. Room was clean, could use some upgrades, but for a place to crash it's good quality.

Getting internet to work in the room was a chore. The person at reception had to do some magic to get it to work on my tablet. Bathroom has a relatively new shower stall but it hasn't been installed properly because the plumbing leaks when it's used making the carpet outside in the bedroom area damp. This explains the fan on the floor in the room. Bed was lumpy and unconfortable. My room was on a main road and as a result very noisy from early morning to late at night.

Front desk person at check in was very nice However, first room assigned smelled like smoke. Heavy heavy smoke. If the room had been recently cleaned there's no way they should have assigned it. We were reassigned to another room few flight of stairs no Lyft. It still smelled like a smoke but wasn't too bad. It was a cold December night in London, their heat radiator is centralized. They mentioned that it comes in every 2 hours, but could give us a heater. After sight seeing, we asked for a heater, the guy at the front reluctantly gave us a heater but it did not work. Never could turn it on. Switch doesn't work .We were so cold, we slept with several clothes on. Since we were there for 2 days, we just didn't bother complaining anymore. The carpet looks dirty.the second bed in the room had a stain on the sheets. Random door with a locked key in the bedroom don't know where it leads, but had a bright reflected light that brightens the whole room while sleeping. The space between the toilet and the wall does not fit anyone taller than 5 ft. A lot smaller than the typical European standard.

This hotel is great if you're looking for a value option. You get everything you need. I've paid much more for similar quality hotels. I would stay again. This may not be the best choice for a hot summer night, no air conditioning and close to a main road.

It looks a bit Fawlty Towers from the outside and the check-in was somewhat in that vein since I had to wait a few minutes for the room key and then after entering the room there was a knock at the door since the man at reception had forgotten to take payment. The room was actually quite nice aesthetically but the bathroom was very cramped. I am not tall by any measure but still found it very uncomfortable to use the toilet with the sink so close. The shower gives a nice strong stream of water but it's tricky to get the temperature correct & too easy to accidently turn it off. I was also only given one towel which wasn't particularly clean, so bring your own. There are tea & coffee making equipment in the room and a functioning TV & fan. The location - North London between Cricklewood & Kilburn stations - is pretty good and there are plenty of shops & places to eat nearby.

Could do with a little fridge in the room as weather was very hot and we couldn’t keep our water cold. Bus stop 2 mins away right to Marble Arch and every 10 minutes or so and only £1.75 per trip. We chose this hotel as wanted to be close to Lords Cricket Ground and the 189 stopped right outside. Friendly staff excellent facilities right outside the front door. Would definitely stay again.

Stay there with wife and kid, had family room, confortable room with nice windows, bathroom with big shower, coffee and tea in room, internet. Nice staff, hotel in a nice street with lots of shops and restaurant, great pub 2mn away all at good price (London can get real expensive). Had overall a real nice stay.

Charming welcoming staff and the room was beyond immaculate. Six power points in the room, a huge plus! I’d certainly stay here again and happily recommend it.

Hotel was very handy for Wembley. Walkable from Kilburn underground. (There are buses anyway). Clean, staff friendly and although basic it catered for our needs. There was a fan in our room which was nice as it was hot.

This was just a one night solo stay, on the plus side I booked a single room and had a small double bed, and there was a fan in the room. On the downside there were no towels, there’s was chewing gum left on the side in the room and on the bathroom wall was a *ahem* brown smear so i’m not convinced the room was thoroughly cleaned. The bed seemed clean enough but the bedding was clearly very old and worn and looked moth eaten in places

Hotel is only a short walking distance from the tube station and is in quite a quiet area. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and bed is comfortable. For the price you’re paying, you get a lot of value for your money.

You get what you pay for. Terrible room, broken shower. Room was disgusting with stains all over the wall and on the pillowcase.

Good location, friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed; would definitely stay there again

The front desk staff was very friendly, and he provided a hairdryer upon request. However, the room had poor soundproofing—I could clearly hear the flushing, footsteps from neighboring rooms, and conversations outside the room. The shower door was broken, and the carpet and bed linens felt quite worn out. Thankfully, I only stayed for one night.

Dirty carpets matteress was terrible very uncomfortable radiator behind bed on too high too stuffy room very small for 2 people

Bathroom was small very cramped except for shower half the bathroom fixings was hanging off plus a few loose tiles in bathroom

Good and cheap hotel for a Weekend visit in London. Room was very small but clean. Very good is that the rooms have their own bathroom with toilet and shower

Room for 4 people was very small, not much space to move around

After ringing the bell and knocking on the door we got in eventually, we were shown our room, we had unpacked when we realised we couldn’t lock the door. We were moved to another room rear reception, there was lots of noise from about 11pm until after 1am. Then shortly after 3am someone came into the room next door and was talking really loudly. At 6am we got up and lef as we had enough. Small rooms tiny on-suite, definitely wouldn’t stay again

Water pressure for shower is low and traffic noise is loud. Curtain rail needs repairing as coming away from wall. There was a welcome tray with teas / coffees and biscuits. In general its alright for a one night stay for the price in London.

Staff was kind, room was clean, fan and coffee provided was nice. We stayed on a Friday night, so a bit noisy with the police speeding by, but otherwise just a bit of street noise. I would stay there again.

Guy on reception dismissive, rude, no towel in room. Asked for one, a big ask. Second night roadworks outside room until 2am

Cheap and cheerful. The room was good and had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed for a gig at Wembley and was close to Kilburn station which takes you straight to Wembley Park, so was fantastic location. There are also plenty of places to eat near the hotel, a co-op across the road and a Spoons not far up the road for cheap meals and drinks. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again

Nice and comfortable. Multiple options of public transportation close. Perfect to stay a night or two to attend an event at Wembley. If I ever get the chance to go to another I'll def stay here again.

Excellent for what we wanted room for very convenient for Wembley stadium only 4 stops on tube and a short 10 minute walk to station from hotel was a bit noisy outside but unavoidable really as on main street .but overall perfect for what i needed for my trip to wembly

We were going to a concert in Wembley and we needed a one night stay, this was exactly what we needed. It was handy to transport and cheap for one night. The staff were friendly and the area was safe with a lot of cafes and supermarkets plus a cool gaming bar/cafe right next door.

Surprisingly positive experience staying here. The staircase itself was worn and not very nice, but our family room had two queensize beds, 2 large mirrors, TV, good internet and the possibility to make tea and coffee. The walls and floors were brown, but it was clean and the bathroom was fine, but small. it was perfectly located a 10 minute walk to the Jubilee Line and from there only Four stops from Wembley, where we were going to a concert. So in terms of price and location, I would say that it is very good for the price and more than two stars.

We stayed in a spacious twin-bedded room. Room was tidy and beds comfortable. Hotel is next to a busy road, but being out most of the day, the noise didn't affect our sleep. Easy walking distance to bus stop or Underground (Kilburn 10 min walk - Greek bakery Opa highly recommended for a breakfast snack to go). Pro: comfy beds, tidy room, perfect choice for our travel reason Con: toilet seat needs to be fixed permanently, at some days there was a strong smell (cannabis?) in the entrance area, towels weren't changed during the stay
