Homewood Suites by Hilton Memphis-Germantown

The room was outdated. We stayed in room 201. The pocket door to the bedroom didn't slide easily. The living room furniture looked like it was there from 2000. The sheer curtains could still be seen after the room darkening curtains were closed. Breakfast wasn't edible. They nuked the eggs. Breakfast is served from.6-9. When you're on vacation, the last thing you want to do is get up and run down for breakfast. The fitness center was 3 old pieces of cardio. I was able to get a guest pass to a local gym. Stay elsewhere.

Nice clean hotel with free parking and breakfast ar a good price. We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel and very nice neighborhood. Super clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. High quality amenities, including body lotion, very much appreciated, as well as laundry room self operated, very practical. Breakfast different every day and wonderful options. The staff is a chapter worth of mention, everybody so kind and attentive. First time in this Hilton brand and definitely now a favorite.

one elevator was out of service, I was roomed very far and I have MS so it was painful walking so far

I can't speak for the entire place, but our room hasn't been updated or touched up in a while. That isn’t a big thing, but the furniture is worn considerably, paint is chipping from almost everything, and even the pieces on the corners of walls are just falling off. Mold or mildew is on the inside of the bathroom door. We aren't picky people, but we did pay more for this place and I feel we could have stayed somewhere cheaper and it been cleaner. We really wanted this place because it seemed like a safe area. We finally got our kids settled and fell asleep. At 3 am a fire alarm goes off. Thats fine. No fire. We bring our 2 shaken up and very awake kids back in and get them settled. Another alarm. We dress again and go back out. This happened a total of 5 times between 3am and 6:30 am. I'm hoping the breakfast will be redeeming but my husband said it is not. The pool was fine.

The carpets were ripped and worn out, adding to the overall shabby condition of the room. Even though it was a non-smoking hotel, the room smelled awful from previous guests. The bed sheets were dirty, and many of the power outlets didn’t work. The pool was closed, and the doors were dirty. To top it off, the ironing board was disgusting. The only good thing about this place was the neighborhood. I would never stay here again.

The front desk staff were very professional, friendly and accommodated my family with late checkout without question. The pool was clean and perfect for small kids. The breakfast was really good and it was nice that breakfast had different options the second morning. The rooms were clean as always as a Hilton rewards member.

I’ve stayed in this hotel multiple times and never had a problem until this stay. My car was one of about a dozen that had the window broken out and things stolen. Luckily, my husband was able to immediately take it to a glass place and have it replaced before we went home. The hotel is in a nice area and is clean, comfortable, and quiet, but apparently these break ins are happening more and more frequently.

Asked for a refund. Whole hallway smelled of smoke, as did the room. It looked like the floors hadn’t been cleaned since the Reagan administration

The breakfast was good. Lobby appeared clean and they were making a lot of effort to sanitize the area. The room definitely was lacking. The sofa had visible stains on it and the small accent table was broken. The bathroom did appear clean however This is a well worn property that could definitely use some good cleaning. It met our needs, but I do not plan to stay there again when returning to Memphis. Front desk staff was very friendly which was a plus.

Friendly, hardworking, and looking out to make sure the customers have a positive and comfortable experience. Extra mention is the breakfast each morning. It is not your standard 'free hotel breakfast'. Overnight oats, chia puddings, breakfast burrito station...incredible! Would highly recommend this location when staying in Germantown.

Very enjoyable and spacious

Very clean. Older property. Sofa bed could be upgraded. Visible wear and tear on furniture. Staff very friendly and helpful. Over all stay was great

Everything was perfect, but fix the bathroom doors that were damaged in my room, I did not close.

We were in the area of this Homewood Suites for just a day and a half. It is our custom to stay at Homewood Suites when we travel out of town because the facilities provide us comforts and conveniences that we don't at other competing hotels. Generally the Homewood Suites we've stayed at around the nation are outstanding in terms of their amenities and so forth. Unfortunantely, this Homewood Suites, despite the great customer service we received, was lacking in terms of upkeep and amenities. The carpet was terribly in a state of disrepair. The kitchen amenities were so sparse that the two of us had to improvise just to have utensils to cook and eat with. Only two chairs in the room. One of those chairs was an office/desk chair. The place served its purpose. Nothing was a show stopper. It's just not a place we would return to in the future.

Everyone was especially excited about working for the company. Friendly staff great breakfast bar and the room was superb! Went to check into my **already paid** room, my card kept “declining” for the deposit hold In case you trash the room or something, Anyway I tried 3 different cards with the same declined message. Another customer who was Checking in next to me had the same problem. So obviously this was a hotel problem not a me problem. Anyway I get told to sit down in the lobby until they figured it out. We are tired after traveling 8 hours on the road, we just want to shower and grab some dinner. Still waiting for them to figure it out and We are still here in the lobby waiting even tho our room is PAID. Ask to see if we can just try later and this worker was very rude, full of attitude and was very condescending. She was a heavy set African American lady with short hair I don’t remember her name. She was just immediately responding with attitude where it was definitely NOT necessary! She should not be the person you have helping people cuz she’s not very good at it. The other young lady there was very nice and professional. Other than that AWFUL Check in experience the room was very nice, spacious, clean and in a very nice area. We would consider coming back to this hotel again because it was so nice but I’m not sure because of the worker. This is the first time we have encountered a rude worker! We travel a lot due to travel sports and this is def the first neg experience.

We agreed this is our favorite hotel to stay in Germantown. Easy check in, lovely room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, great price. We loved the layout suite with the separate living area. We would highly recommend this hotel. We will stay here again when traveling home from Arkansas.

Well, my aunt was being seen at Campbell’s clinic. We stayed there for that home. Feel after surgery! Boy did they show up and show out clean rooms very nice front desk. We absolutely love our stay.
