Well to start , our room keys , had to get help , ac was way too noisey and in the morning we found our drivers side window smashed out and car broke into , it happened to at least 4 cars

Everything was great except the pool was freezing. I have children who were ready to swim, the whole reason I chose a hotel with an indoor pool. Jacuzzi didn’t work and was freezing as well. Other than that everything was great!!

Room was clean staff was nice… we chose this hotel Because it had an indoor pool and “hot tube” hot tube does not work and pool was cold as ice… if your thinking about the kids swimming in winter in an indoor pool on a vacation it’s a big NO!!! If you just want a clean room and a decent breakfast this is the spot..

We have stayed at this property for several years and it has generally been a good experience . Convenient to the State Fair Facility and good local eateries. This trip our bathroom had issues with water pressure, a leaky faucet and the toilet was slow to flush and needed a second flush. When we went to the parking lot this morning, one of our vehicles had the window smashed out and several items stolen. The vehicles were in view of the lobby. The clerk was very evasive about providing police phone numbers to make a report. The manager was contacted by phone and could be easily overheard directing the clerk to not provide information or allow us to see the security camera footage. The manager would not speak to us directly. Our other vehicle showed signs of tampering but it appears no property was stolen. Even bad events are tolerable if the management makes the minimal effort to help you handle the situation. Total loss for the damages and stolen property is in excess of $5000. After 10 years of great experiences we'll be looking for a new hotel.

Pool water is freezing cold Hot tub is cold and not in working condition We mentioned to the front desk and she mention it that the hot tub is cold and always been cold so is just a hole with cold water. and very disappointing They shouldn’t advertise these two areas

It was just “ok”. Food was what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn breakfast. You won’t be blown away but you’ll get something in your belly. The floors in our room were FILTHY. I’ve come to expect that from hotels now. I don’t walk around barefoot in them. I came to Dallas for two nights with my daughters for a concert.. the first night when I came back in the room from taking a phone call, my daughters were in the bathroom washing their feet because they realized they were BLACK from walking on the floors barefoot for even just a few hours. That’s disgusting. We could tell they weren’t even vacuumed, let alone been steam cleaned at any time recently. I know if we paid luxury prices for a room we wouldn’t have experienced this. But you get what you pay for and apparently now with mid price hotels, you don’t get cleaned, vacuumed rooms. Gross.

Ok if you need a place to stay. The rooms are clean, but the beds are hard and squeaky, the tv was small, the bathrooms are small, the water pressure bad, the toilets don't fully flush, the breakfast was REALLY bad (anything hot was pretty much flavorless or actually bad tasting, but hey! it's food). The area around the hotel is highway, and it's hard to get in/out the parking lot. To be clear, it's not TERRIBLE, but it's an ok place to sleep when you need one.

The beds were not too comfortable. There is no real upkeep. There was scuffs on the walls that were not patched and rusty hinges and such in the bathroom. I liked the use of Dove products. We chose this hotel for the indoor pool for our daughter but it was closed so that was very disappointing.

When we arrived, 2 hours after scheduled check in time, at property we were asked to wait for half hour so room can be cleaned. Then they allotted us a type of room which we haven’t booked. And informed us that’s what they received from Expedia. After almost 3 hours after our arrival they were able to resolve issues and we got the room we booked for. I don’t know who is at fault here, Expedia or hotel, but we surely did suffer in all that. Worst experience.

The hotel itself was decent enough and close to Fair Park for our stay during the State Fair. However at check-in they take a $75 incidental fee which is normal but when I looked at my bank statement 2 Days Later there was not only the $75 pending incidental fee but also an additional $49.10 fee. When I called I was put on hold for over 19 minutes and in the background I was able to hear multiple people laughing and them checking other people in before I was finally hung up on. When I called back I was able to get a hold someone and he did not know why I was charged that amount but he said it looked like hotels.com had put a hold on my card which he was going to release. The next day I had a $124.10 fee that was pulled from my account. I called again and was told by Milton that he didn't know why it did that and it was scheduled to be removed from my account that evening. 6 days later they still have that extra $124.10 from my account with no explanation. There was nothing broken in the room no reason for them to take an incidental fee whatsoever. I have tried calling multiple times and the phone is either busy or it rings three times and then I'm hung up on.

We had an overall excellent stay with great customer service. We checked in, put stuff in our room and went to our event. When we came back the room was hot, the AC not working. We went downstairs and they immediately gave us another room just across the hall. Theres a decent little breakfast as well.

Our original reservation was for the very last room available due to the upcoming eclipse: a twin bed with a double sofa bed, somewhat inconvenient for my wife and me. When we arrived to check in and went up to our room, we found that, because of cancellations, we had been given a room with a king bed. Nothing was said when we checked in and there was not an additional charge. We were just quietly given an upgrade because it was available. It was a surprise and very much appreciated. Kudos to the front desk staff for their thoughtfulness!

I do not recommend this hotel. Their key machine has been down for 2 weeks and one staff member was checking people in and you had to wait for someone else to let you in your room every time. The room was very dirty. The AC was leaking on the floor which made the room “wet” and the tv/remote did not work, nor did the phone. We change the batteries and still nothing. The floors were sticky and the staff could have cared less about our issues, especially since we booked through Expedia. From their mouths, there is nothing we can do, you booked through Expedia. The breakfast options were sparse and they ran out almost everything with over an hour left of breakfast. Not impressed.

Check in was a at 4pm. We arrived at 5 PM and room was not ready yet. We had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes to check in. I was asked to put in my credit card without being told why or how much. Check in person was not friendly. The hot tub did not work. It was like a freezer. The beds were comfortable. I stayed here before and it was nice. That’s why I chose to stay here again. The room was clean. I was not happy this time.

Hotel was fantastic, staff was great, residential area directly behind the hotel was wonderful, but one block to the east are project apartments, we saw a drive-by shooting at 7:30 on Sunday morning lol. Quite an interesting Sunday morning. As far as we know, no one was injured, but it did involve a lot of ducking and running for a few minutes. Just be careful where you walk in the surrounding neighborhood.

The breakfast bar was never fully stocked. Had to keep asking for more food for there bar, juice machine broken not even fixed there for four days.Pancake machine always empty took forever to put new bag in machine, eggs always empty. They offer free breakfast but never kept it stocked. The beds were never made when we left for the day. Stayed at five hotels on are trip it was most costly but the worse hotel.

Expedia was probably the main problem between it all, the staff was pretty friendly the whole time. the shower in our room was dirty (old appliances, nasty looking as well) and the shower head wouldn't hold itself up right. the breakfast was okay but one of the milks we got was very expired and make me quite sick feeling. not the worst, not the best but probably wouldn't stay again.

Check in was OK, but he needed help to complete process when I gave him my member number. Another staff member unfriendly. Only 2 towels. Breakfast was very bad..leaking ceiling, ran out of food, no plates, coffee ran out. Shades broken in room. Don’t stay here!
