Great apartment that had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Adequate cooking facilities for simple meals. There was also a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer which we really appreciated! Unfortunately it rained for most of our stay so we couldn’t use the pool but the gym was good. We are really thankful to the reception staff who made sure we didn’t miss our bus when we left. We would definitely stay again!

Clean and modern rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great aircon. Pool was on the cool side, actually quite chilly. Would recommend the property, but it's just a little bit away from the centre of Townsville.

Douchecabine was niet schoon. Wc dicht op doucheset waardoor weinig ruimte voor afdrogen. Niet erg fris. Hadden dubbele kamer en tussendeuren konden niet openblijven en je had er telkens het pasje voor nodig. Niet handig met kinderen en in en uit lopen, badkamer ene kamer stonk vreselijk. Van alle gemakken voorzien maar onze kamer 301 a en b is vooral qua badkamer aan update toe. Uitzicht beperkt. Parkeren goed. Zwembad zeker aan update toe. Restaurant ernaast maar geen ontbijt mogelijk. Zou hier niet meer komen. Prijs/kwaliteit niet in verhouding.

I had arrange the night before to allow me to go into an unused clean room early when I arrived so that I could change into work clothes and leave luggage. When I arrived none were available! However they allowed me to use the gym to change. On the second day I returned to the room at about 2.30pm and it hadn't been serviced.

Lovely apartment with great view from small balcony. Everything we could want was provided. The only absence was a source of good coffee. Maybe a coffee pod machine would have enhanced our experience. We also had a great deal of difficulty parking, in fact I scraped the side of our hire car in trying to park in the last spot, beside a big SUV. They are very narrow parking bays and there is insufficient manoeuvring space to get your vehicle straight on entry.

Not easy to find the reception on arrival as it is’ hidden’ at the back of the Metropole Pub, the room could have been cleaned properly, the balcony and its very basic furniture were covered in dust. The range hood doesn’t work and needs a good cleaning as well. The unit has a bathroom which is purposed built for people with a disability or mobility issues which makes it a little unpractical for people without disability.

Room was clean and tidy. Staff were pleasant. Thought the area was average until we went out Friday night and found it was the place to be. Great spot. Toilet flush button got jammed a couple of times but okay. Please could someone get low fat milk; my wife says most people drink it now. Long life is pretty awful but tolerable (just) for an overnighter but anything longer….. The ice tray was broken in half in Room 804A, so should be replaced. Probably for about $3.

Early check in was arranged very easily for my partner coming off night shift. Consistently reasonably priced. Only complaint was that cleaner entered the room early and before we had checked out. My partner was still sleeping. She then got angry and stated slamming doors and making lots jot noise in the hallway when told that there was still 1.5 hours until check out. Otherwise the stay was great.

If you stay two nights on two separate bookings that is told on check in and second night paid for at counter .on arrival . you shouldn’t recieve a knock at door at 910 am asking if your checking out .. and you are not .. but shown list that I was .. office communication poor .. a request was made on second booking but … paid premium price .. stayed here several times .. last two times have not been great service ..
