Hotel is a bit dated. Common area carpet is very worn. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights

I had reservations for two nights, and the first night there was some sort of soccer convention with middle school kids staying there. From the time I got there until midnight kids were running up and down the hallways, screaming and yelling. My room had dirty carpet, but everything else was clean. I talked to the front desk about changing rooms for the second night because of the extreme loud kids and they did switch my room, which is a positive. They were very kind about switching rooms and very accommodating. My second room had outlets that did not work and my television remote did not work. Overall, the staff was great, but the rooms were not. I probably won’t stay there again because I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area that I prefer.

The bathroom was NOT cleaned properly. There was old urine on the toilet seat and the floor was sticky - not sure if it was sticky from old urine or a cleaning solution. I didn't want to be in the room for very long and avoided the bathroom as much as possible. I will not be back to this hotel.

Stayed 3 nights

I booked this hotel because my daughter in law told me that is was near Purdue where the ceremony would be held. I did not know that housekeeping services would not be available. The carpeting in the room was filthy and the chairs were dirty. One of the elevators were not in service during the 3 nights I stayed. The key card continued to deactivate and hotel staff would just reactivate without asking for identification. Additionally, my daughter in law, who was not staying with me, was given a key to the room and was able to come up without question. There appeared to be a party in the hotel lobby one night with a lot of young people. I guess you get what you pay for...

Stayed 3 nights

Room was very clean, but it had a very strong perfume odor that permeated the sheets, towels, and eventually my clothes. I stayed three nights, and the smell never diminished. I imagine it came from the air conditioner. Also, my room cards didn't keep the room number activation, not once but twice. There isn't a street in Fort Wayne that isn't covered in potholes, and Coliseum Blvd in front of the hotel is one of the worst streets. Of course, Holiday Inn is not responsible for the city's poor management.
