They do not have parking for this hotel. You have to park and pay at a near by lot.

Loved the pool.

Restaurant and staff outstanding. Did not like that there was no drop off guest and luggage entrance. Loved the rooftop bar but did not like that couldn’t access from inside the hotel.

Parking, and the walkway to the hotel

Nice hotel but the parking is difficult and next to the hotel is a 4 story parking garage. The lobby is really nice and connected to the convention center. The gentleman who checked us in was not really good at communicating which elevator to use and the layout of the hotel. Good location. Very loud at night at 1:45 AM could hear cars racing and people at the bars chanting.

We usually stay at the Arts but this was a special occasion and I thought I'd book a suite at what appeared to be a "nicer" hotel. Very clean and well kept. Not a bad place to stay. But there are some things that could be better. You must pay for parking and pay for breakfast. Ok. Whatever. A lot of choices nearby for breakfast anyway. One elevator in the East tower is still out of service. This makes for long waiting periods to grab the elevator. There aren't stairs located near the elevator tower as an alternative. And the fire escape stairs does not take you to the lobby. So you pretty much have to take the elevator. Ice machine on my floor didn't work. Had to go to another floor. We rented a room with a sofa sleeper. When we opened it, we realized there were no linens of pillows. They knew we were going to have 4 people in the room. I had to have some brought up. Keurig coffee maker. Thankfully I had the foresight to bring coffee pods. This one only had decaf pods. VERY noisy at night if your corner room faces Tellus360 next door. I know the hotel can't do anything about the loud noise next door that goes on past 2:00 A.M. but when I booked the room for 2 nights I expected I'd be able to sleep. The pool, spa, and fitness center were closed for remodeling. They shouldn't show these as amenities and then tell you they're closed 2 days before you arrive. Not a bad place, but could be better. I'll go back to the other choices.

Marriott should be ashamed of how this property looks and is being operated currently (September 2024). They are doing construction of the front entrance, so there is no place to pull your car up when you arrive. They have a side entrance, however to pull your car up, you are in a lane of traffic and people driving by will honk and almost run into your car. They instruct guests to park in the parking lot for the convention center (around the block), and then "bring your bags through the sky-walk." This is not convenient in any way, and if you can\'t find a parking spot close to the sky-walk entrance you have to carry your bags around the parking garage, then carry them through the sky-walk, and into the hotel. When we checked in (around 5 pm) there was NO hotel staff to help with the bags. After speaking with multiple front-desk staff finally one of the front-desk staff helped with the bags. The rooms are very average. And the location is pretty poor, it feels unsafe at night. The only friendly and helpful Marriott staff member was the concierge. I would never stay at this hotel again, and not recommend it.

The only issue I had was the East tower elevator was sooo slow other than that everything was good

Great anniversary trip! The pool, the spa & the restaurant almost made it hard to leave the hotel. But the location was fantastic for trying out some great local spots.

We loved the room. Very clean and quiet. However, there was construction at the front entrance and we had to ask a construction worker how to enter the building. Then we had a hard time finding the entrance to the garage. After construction is finished things should be great!

Well appointed room which was comfortable for 2 people. And lots of dining options. But ROACHES! We had 3 sightings in 24 hours. I’ve machine on the floor also didn’t work.

Lots of hair in the bathroom! Hair in the sink, tub & on the floor. It was gross which was a shame because it could’ve been a great stay if the rooms were properly cleaned.

The staff were very nice and the room was clean and tidy. However, there were roaches in the hotel room. That is my only complaint of the hotel and it was very unfortunately. Will not stay there again.

It's location is excellent. Parking is wonderful. Close to coffee shops and restaurants. The gym is excellent. I saw a show at The Fulton and could walk from the hotel. The front desk staff is outstanding and made me feel very welcome. I loved having a room where i could see the center of town with the Christmas tree and other decorations. Bathroom was very clean. The sleeping area had some dust and dirt in the sitting area and in a few other areas on the floor. The hotel is starting to show its age in places as wallpaper was beginning to lift and marks are on the wall (One such area is the ramp). These areas could use some sprucing up.

The location was amazing, walk to lots of restaurants and shops. The restaurants in the restaurant were mediocre. There was mold all over my toilet, and the front desk did not have it cleaned when I complained. The floors are poorly installed and make loud cracking noises when you walk on them. I had no maid service, no coffee replacements. No microwaves in the rooms. I would not stay here except for the location.

Hotel was not clean at all-floors completely dirty and rooms barely cleaned each day.

Property was beautiful. Rooms were updated and clean. Only issue was our AC, didn’t get below 77 which we will be contacting the property to let them know.

Do not book. Next to a night club that plays bass booms all night. Impossible to sleep. Better off at the Days inn. Unless you are deaf. Gave me a 25 dollar credit for complaining. They know they are sending you to a room you can’t sleep in. Ask for manager to call and he did not. SUCKS

Room was awesome. Super high ceilings and wood linoleum floor and comfy bed and great view and amazing shower. Front desk guy was the happiest person I’ve ever met. Location was incredible - convenient to everything! Onsite restaurant was really great for vegetarians with delicious dishes and excellent wine options. Parking was relatively simple given the emailed instructions they sent ahead of time.

Great property. Our room was pretty loud because we were right next to a bar across the street. But otherwise a nice stay.

The gentleman who checked us in was not friendly actually kind of rude it doesn't start out for a great trip we have fun anyway I was with my mom it is the 14th year we have come to the Marriott on Black Friday to spend the weekend the service has gotten worse over the years the location is phenomenal it's nice that they have hot chocolate for the tree lighting but to start out with bad service was a true disappointment

Overall the stay was good only issue was trying to check in. One of the front desk worker was extremely rude and was not helpful at all. I provided first name last name and confirmation number and she couldn’t find it and insisted we did have a reservation. It wasn’t until another worked got freed up and came over and helped and was able to find the reservation quick.

Check in was a disaster. Drag racing until 2am right outside of our window. Couldn’t sleep. Felt unsafe. Staff is not accommodating. Horrible customer service. Worst Marriott stay ever!

The check-in process was very inconvenient. We arrived around 4:10pm and was told rudely our room wasn’t ready and they would let us know. No one wants to hear that after a long drive. They ended up texting us an hour later. The room was clean, however the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was hard/firm and creaked at any movement. There would be random times in the middle night where we would hear a loud metal clanking noise that would wake us up out of our sleep. Overall we felt un-rested here during our stay and probably won’t stay here again next time we visit Lancaster.

I was very disappointed in my overall stay. Overpriced but good location. The front desk lady couldn't find my reservation and it was almost like since I made it from Hotels.com instead of direct through Marriott she wasn't going to honor the reservation email that I had. The room itself was adequate, but felt moist when you walked in and the air conditioning really didn't get cold. The tub drained slowly so as I showered I quickly had a pool of water at my feet and the coffee machine was broken so when my husband went to make a cup of coffee water just spilled all over the place. We had to buy a cup downstairs at Starbucks instead. Go to the Cork Factory Hotel instead.

It was quiet and clean when we stayed on a thursday just overnight. across the stress is central market which is convenient and we had our breakfast and brought home some sourdough bread and fresh vegetables from the amish community.

Really enjoyed the location and the convenience of the hotel. Lots of shops around, and we really liked the Plough restaurant in the hotel. However, would recommend checking the convention center calendar for events. We had a cheer and dance convention happening during our stay, and the place was packed with cheerleaders and families. This made the stay not as relaxing as we had hoped. The hotel is beautiful though and we would come back!

I liked that is in a nice area. What I did not like, for the price of that Hotel $340 or more per night I think the complimentary bottle of water for each guest should be there when the guest arrive and replace them everyday. I had to ask for water or buy it. How could that be possible? Breakfast very poor, the coffee was terrible, we had to buy coffee in starbucks to have a real coffee flavor, we preferred to eat breakfast outside even though we paid for every day breakfast. They don't even help with the luggage, we had to bring them to the car and then bring the cart from the parking to the lobbly.

Scotch tape all over walls (like prior guest had hung up streamers and no one took gobs of tape off walls). Shower controls were coming out of wall. also no breakfast at hotel.

The restaurant "Plough" is most excellent. I was so surprised to have such a culinary driven restaurant in the hotel. The food is amazing.

Historic building on the square in Lancaster City. Clean with modern amenities. Three great dining options (for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day): Plough - Main floor, excellent food and drink options, nice, cozy atmosphere. The Exchange - 12th floor, entrance is outside main hotel, cool atmosphere and outdoor dining - warm even in 40 deg weather. Two Kings - breakfast buffet only, friendly waitstaff (even after 2 ignorant couples decided to barge-in after they closed at 10am on Christmas morning). This is my wife's and my second Christmas Eve-into-Christmas Day stay here and we could not be more pleased. Will book here again!

The hotel was spotless and room very welcoming. Disappointed with so many charges that the hotel had. Parking, WIFi etc. Lacking in breakfast options. Very disappointing 18.00 buffet. I have had better complimentary at other hotels. Not sure if I will return
