Designer Studio in the Heart of South Kensington

Overall, a great experience, and I would stay here again. The location is excellent—safe, well-lit, lively, and close to major attractions, shops, and the subway. The only downside was that the elevators were not working, so going up and down four flights of stairs was inconvenient, especially with luggage or after walking all day. The host was excellent and always communicated clearly, responding promptly to our questions and requests.

We were generally pleased with our stay. The location was perfect as we wanted to visit Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum. Communication with the host was easy. Whenever I messaged them before our stay, they provided detailed information. We were able to communicate easily on the day of arrival, and a member of staff met us when we arrived at the accommodation. I hadn’t actually expected the room to be in the basement, but it was bright, so we didn’t mind too much. There was no noise from outside or from the building, and the atmosphere was peaceful. On the plus side, we didn’t have to carry our suitcases upstairs, as there was no elevator in the building, just as mentioned in other reviews. The room was generally clean. Some areas of the flat needed a bit of maintenance. The kitchen and other areas were well equipped. The internet connection was fast and stable. It’s a place that’s well worth choosing at this price.

Very convenient location. But cannot store luggage before check in. Also need to carry own luggage upstairs. The staff is very responsive and helpful though. Overall great value in this location.

Location was great but cleanliness could be better. The bathrooms were mouldy and the kitchen was greasy. We couldn’t see clearly from the pictures and the bedroom was separate on a lower floor.

Fabulous space with far more than we expected. Only sorry we were only there for one night. Lovely caring welcome from the staff too. Would highly recommend.
