Rooms are basic but did the job for a weekend break in London. Location is great, 30 seconds away from the shops on Oxford Street and 10/15 minute walk to Piccadilly for the theatre. Lots of lovely little restaurants right outside the hotel as well. Bond Street station is 3 minute walk away and this is only 1 stop away from Paddington if arriving by train. Will use this hotel again 100%

Absolutely amazing location! Clean and basic with a decent shower! Opening windows always a bonus. Noisy with windows open obviously- it’s in Central London. Will definitely stay again!

The accommodation is in a perfect location. All the sights are within walking distance. We didn’t need to take a bus or the subway once during our entire stay. The receptionist at check-in was very helpful and friendly, and gave us a larger room than the one we had booked. I didn’t mind the lack of an elevator; walking a few extra steps isn’t a problem for me. The hotel’s furnishings are a bit dated, but everything is clean. The beds are comfortable. I recommend The Mermaid Suite Hotel for shorter stays—it’s worth it. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
