A charming oasis in the midst of London. The rooftop bar is great, and its hot tub is a spectacular amenity. The downstairs bar also makes a good drink and serves up tasty appetizers. Rooms are not huge, but pretty good by London standards. Great value.

Overpriced for what it is. The room looks snazzy but not very big and there is no out of hours service for food or drinks. Most expensive mini bar I have ever seen.

Quirky hotel with comfy rooms and amazing breakfast. The restaurant is fantastic, well priced, and the manager is so lovely. Our room was nice and clean. We were in an ideal location for shopping, restaurants, pubs, site seeing and theatres which meant we didn't need to use a tube during our stay - everything was walkable. The hot tub on the roof was very easily accessible 24/7, is free, and it was great being on the roof, listening to London below. However, it could have been cleaner, I think because no-one was monitoring it and there weren't any rules around regarding hot tub etiquette. Would highly recommend staying here and grabbing lunch at the restaurant!

Great experience - whole vibe of the hotel is nice, very eclectic, great art work. Room was spacious with a super king size bed which was super comfortable. Loved the hot tub on roof and bar service up there was great. The downstairs lounge bar is also comfortable - u could have eaten there but we didn’t go can’t comment. Location was great. Great stay, would stay here again.

Can't beat the location. Very funky hotel. Enjoyed roof top bar. Our room was excellent but needs a little TLC. Shower leaked out into room. We let staff now.

Firstly, the staff are lovely and the service both at check-in/out and the bar was great. I arrived early and was told my room wouldn't be ready until 3pm due to cleaning, which is totally fine. I was offered space to store my bags, but I didn't need to. I sat in the bar and had a drink, service great offering great. My room was ready around 3pm and sadly there was still hair in my bathroom and a rag covered in bleach in the shower. Not the end of the world, but disappointing. My major issue (due to being in town for work) was the poor wifi, which really isn't great in 2024... that said it was an adequate stay and I'd look at returning if I needed to in the future.

The best part about this hotel is the location. Great spot for walking to either shops in SoHo or Mayfair. Hotel itself is nice. Tacky, but in an entertaining way. Room was comfortable, but was noisy. Could hear everything in the hall and through the walls. Bed was a-mazing (best part of the room), but the shower was a bit dirty. It smelled a little like ammonia and you could hear/feel the old water squishing under the shower flooring when you stepped in before you turned the water on. Also they have this funny rock garden surrounding the tub in the room. Thought it was great, but it's not covered so you can easily trip in the dark and hurt yourself. There is a lot of fun technology in the rooms, including a BT soundsystem, but it was hard to get setup and I needed someone from the frontdesk to come help. Also, I was on a work trip and there wasn't much space to setup my laptop - about an 9" ledge by the TV to use a desk. If I was traveling for fun, I'd def stay again. If you need to get work done, another place might be better. As said at the beginning though, location is A+.

It was amazing! Room was immaculate. Very big by London hotel standards. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Very interesting decor especially around the tub. However, some of it was not practical nor comfortable. Location was excellent for traveling around London and in the heart of everything. Staff were very helpful on check in, and did an excellent job cleaning the room. We also really enjoyed the rooftop terrace bar.

Amazingly quirky rock n roll themed hotel with a dark side we loved. Lovely bar on the ground floor & a rooftop bar on the 5th floor with a hot tub. Smart, clean, gothic/rock n roll decor. Super comfy big bed, clean shower room, in room facilities were excellent

A far from great experience, travelling with my daughter I was shocked upon entering the property which was dark to the point you could barely see, the chap on the tiny reception looked completely disinterested. The room was tiny and sheets and cushions covered in hair. The sink was situated in the shower and the items in mini bar out of date. The roof top bar was a major disappointment as we headed up there to find no staff so left. The lift had a dreadful smell and we couldn’t wait to check out

Really nice clean central hotel

Nice hotel with some flaws (broken/missing light at the tub and in one of the closets. And some broken tiles in the bathroom. And the so called Studio 54 interior at the New Year’s Eve in the restaurant was nonexistent. (??) And the New Year’s Eve dinner was definitely not worth a New Year’s Eve. Like everything was heated directly from the fridge. Besides that the Rock’n Rock theme at the hotel was fun to see.

What stood out was the cleanliness of the room .... It's always a great place to stay ...and best of all is the sky bar at the top ... You can sit and enjoy a lovely cigar and drink .

First, let me say the staff was excellent. They accommodated our requests as best they could. However, they were defeated by the hotel. The hotel isn't really suitable for more than a couple of nights stay (or a one night stand from the bar next door). We were staying 6 nights and were at the beginning of a three week stay in Europe, traveling with two roll-aboards and a larger suitcase. The limited space in our room turned it into an obstacle course. Visualize a twelve inch wide closet with just 4 hangers. We decided to upgrade to a larger room at our expense which helped some. Per a request made directly to a very accommodating housekeeper, we finally were provided with washcloths, but none could be found after that initial request. Outlets to power our phone and other gadgets were at floor level across from the bed. The hook that held the curtains back and open was falling out of the wall. The chain lock for the door was of no use because the part that threads through the channel was missing. It had been a long time since I'd seen a sink with separate spigots for hot and cold. I knew when the bar next door closed when the thump, thump, thump of the bass we heard in our room stopped at 3am. It was easy to see that the old "Rocker" hotel had seen better days and needs some updating. The one plus is the location--conveinient to Soho and Covenant Garden.

Great hotel in centre, near Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street, Carnaby Street and Soho and a short distance to the London Palladium. Superior double room was comfortable but a little on the small side and somewhat dark...needs more lighting for the dark walls. A little on the pricey side for mid-week but probably due to where it's located

The single rooms were horrible. No room for luggage and my bathroom sink was actually in the shower. The AC didn’t work all week either. No accommodations were met to help improve my stay. I asked for a diff room throughout my weeks stay even if only for a few nights. No response back.

Such a great experience to stay there! The employees at the reception are so helpful and kind. The room (junior suite) has everything you need, was spacious and really soundproof. The location is perfect.

Compact room but had everything needed and more. Loved the clever location ofvthe sink in the shower cubicle but not so sure about the tv on the laft hand wall beside the bed. Love the roof garden bar. My 2nd stay here and i will return!

It’s a surprisingly good hotel but it’s tiny. That’s the only thing I found a bit sad. Rooms are small.

Super nice location in the heart of Soho Room was tiny - very noisy at night - other guest or bar visitors so loud on the hallway that woke up few times. Must have been this particular room as did not have these issues before

The room wasn't great. It came with a bathtub in the bedroom which we wanted, but the layaout was very cramped and the bathroom was totally unpractival. Think a standard room would be better.

Arrived here early after an overnight flight and teoni and the restaurant staff went out of their way look look after me and prioritize my check in. Excellent service

Super quick and smooth check in. Uber friendly staff and the most delightful receptionist when you call for help. Adore this place. Have stayed twice before and will stay again.

A fantastic hotel, friendly staff, great service and a perfect location.

Staff were rude ! Couldn’t use the bar as teenagers everyone ! Fire alarm going off because of the smoking ! Couldn’t use the jacuzzi as it’s full of teenagers ! Rude receptionist ! So disappointed as it was over £400 a night for my wife’s birthday

Horrible check in, one of the managers is unprofessional. Added extra charges on card that we didn't make. Watch your credit card cause they are dishonest. Great location, but so many better hotels by service and kindness.

Two stars as the lunch and breakfast I had was very nice. Customer service very poor from reception to restaurant staff to the manager. My bill was incorrect (20% discount for the restaurant as hotel guest and £10 for VIP Hotels.com was owed totalling £24.40) and it took a week of chasing for a refund. Staff use the restaurant as an office and loudly regale their private lives. I felt the whole time I was an incovenience. Neither my husband nor I could get the shower any less than luke warm and the lack of power was such that I couldn't properly wash the conditioner out of my hair, and this was in a junior suite costing over £300.

The staff were our favorite part of our stay at Karma Sanctum SoHo. They went above and beyond their duties to make our stay in London one of the most memorable of our lives!

Staff was super friendly. Room and service were great. Area was amazing. Though the bar next door is really loud into the night. I don’t recommend it to someone who sleeps early

Superb hotel in a fantastic location!

It’s a quaint and nicely kept boutique hotel in the heart of SoHo. Carnaby Street is right around the corner from there where you have a variety of restaurants and shopping to choose from. Picadelli Circus is a short 10 minute walk. I loved it! The staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. I highly recommend staying at the Karma Sanctum.

Stayed for my fiancé birthday stayed previously but not for a few years. Great vibe in the hotel and service very good. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed 3 days in mid-November, cold outside but warm and comfy in. Very quiet hotel rooms with heavy curtains that let us comfortably sleep off our jet lag. Staff friendly and super helpful. Restaurant wasn’t open like it was supposed to be but minor inconvenience, there are scores of good restaurants in SoHo. Perfect location close to the heart of London, easy walk to many places and to the tube.

Small boutique hotel in an excellent location. Extremely close to Piccadilly- Trafalgar Square- Buckingham Palace. Lots of shopping and restaurants. On a quiet street. Hotel was very nice- rooms/beds are comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a brilliant independent hotel, based in a quiet street between Soho and Regent Street. It portrays itself as appealing to music-leaning guests and doesn’t disappoint with an array of amazing rock photos throughout. The location is perfect for a stroll to Heddon Street - site of one of the most iconic album covers of all time. The rooms are well equipped and the beds are perfect. Breakfast and the wider food served is great and the rooftop terrace, complete with hot-tub, is well worth a visit.

Really cool adult vibe, room was much bigger than photos look. Amazing location for Old Compton street, theatres and China town all within 5/10 min walk and Piccadilly Circus underground a few mins away. Allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours when we checked out so we could carry on exploring. Staff really helpful!

stopped over to listen to upcoming UK country singer, Rosie Johnson - A fantastic evening of brilliant music, she had the cinema room buzzing! Our hotel room was exceptional and comfortable, We will be repeating next time she plays there. The nearest Rosie got to our bath.😛 which has to have been one of the most delicious baths to have in a hotel room! Room a delight food delicious

The hotel was excellent right from checking in to checking out. The room was stayed in was spacious with quirky decor and a real glam feel. Throughout the hotel it smelt lovely with a wonderful fragrance. We stayed and ate at the restaurant which was also lovely, great range of food and reasonably priced. Overall the trip was a real success and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location, vibe, near awesome shopping, tube and walkable perry much everything London. The staff is 1st class. Always willing and able to help. Very engaging. The hotel reminded us of a boutique version of Hard Rock without the noise. We used the breakfast option and were very pleased with the convenience, quality of the fresh food options and a solid wait staff.

We had a wonderful stay. Our bartender at the restaurant was amazing. The food was fabulous, even the continental breakfast was super yummy. We had a little problem checking in, check in time was 3 pm and we were early but 3pm means 3pm. Overall lovely boutique hotel super close to shopping and pubs.

Amazing stay. On the pricier side but well worth it. Comfy bed, comfy room, delicious restaurant, and prime location. The rooftop bar with the hot tub was a nice touch.
