This was a great place to stay in Keystone. A little past all the hubbub, but very walkable to ships and restaurants. The staff was so friendly and the included breakfast was delicious! If you stay on the 2nd or 3rd level, there are private balconies with stunning views.

Everything was fantastic with the exception of the parking. You have to drive up more or less a single lane ramp to get to the parking area. The lines for the parking spaces were very narrow. We had to be very careful when we opened our doors that we didn’t hit the car next to us. Those lines need to be expanded to allow for parking so that people won’t be dinging other people‘s doors when they open their door.

Beautiful view from our window, the side of Mount Rushmore! Staff was very friendly and accomadating by allowing us to check in early. The only disappointment was the building is under renovations so the pool and game room area are not accessible to guests.

We liked the Roosevelt history displayed, coffee was great, breakfast very good, especially the cinnamon and carmel rolls. Room looked newly renovated. The view from our balcony was great. TV reception could have been better.

Clean room. Swimming pool and game room available but only open 9am-9pm. Roosevelt sayings and stories scattered across each floor of the hotel. Very cozy/comfortable hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Loved sitting on our balcony. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only complaint is parking was limited. Would definitely stay here again.

The service here was top-notch! The staff truly treat you like family! The owners and several other staff live on property so there is always someone there to answer a call. The game room was great! The indoor pool was a bit dated, and was closed during thunderstorms, but was still great when we got to use it! Complimentary breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again! The location is great, too!

In room 214 the phone did not work: a call to the front desk was not heard from me, I could hear her, she could not hear me. Had to walk down. There was human hair(?) in the corners below the coat rack. There was a sagging ceiling tile above the door, weakened by a long ago-dried up leak. The sink drain ran so slow that brushing ones teeth was time consuming. No grab bars in the shower.

The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was good. Our only negative comment would be one day the water was rust colored. When we told the staff, they just agreed. So much for taking a shower and brushing our teeth. Other than that, we enjoyed our time there.

I am so disappointed with this hotel. I book a room base on the pictures of the room instead I got one of the worst rooms , noise, dirty carpet, window in front of the parking lot as a result no privacy. Please be aware when you make the decision to book a room.

This hotel is in a perfect spot for getting to all of the attractions and parks. It is also very close to shopping and restaurants. The room was very clean and has plenty of amenities. The staff was excellent.

Property was in great location . About 3 miles from Mount Rushmore. Very convenient. Walk-in shower was handicap equipped. The only thing was that there was some mold in the shower.

Loved this quant hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. Being on the ground floor was great. Breakfast was excellent and different everyday. Front desk and breakfast staff were awesome. We have talked about staying at the Roosevelt Inn again.

Decent breakfast and very close to Mt Rushmore. A little dated but everything works. Highway in front of property can be loud during day but shutting window fixes that. I enjoyed the balcony. Try to get on 3rd floor. We arrived late and were put on the 2nd floor across from game room which is rather loud.

This is a beautiful property. Renee was very helpful and friendly when we checked in. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed and bedding were comfortable. There was a wide variety of breakfast foods to choose from and everything was very good. There were even real dishes and flatware. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will stay again if we're ever in the area.

Our room was on the small side. Don’t know if all are like that. We found the tv & tv remote were not user friendly. The laminated channel guide in the room needs to explain how to get to live tv. However without a key pad on the remote I had to go channel by channel from 400 to 2! The breakfast was very good and the staff were very accommodating.

Having the full breakfast available every morning was great. The only really bad thing was that we could not use the TV because it was very difficult to use because none of our regular stations were available to us, and it was some kind of smart tv, with a lot of Internet, which we are not familiar with how to use. Very frustrating! The manager did try to help us with this, but only once, and it was very hard to understand and remember how to use this very complicated TV.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience here. When we asked for two extra pillows, the staff delivered them in minutes. Great recommendations on nighttime ceremony at the monument and The Powderhouse restaurant. Love this place.

My wife, son and parents stayed for 1 night after attending Mount Rushmore. Our rooms were very nice and clean. The following morning we left for Rapid City. We realized we had left behind a toy that our son bought in Medora. Upon calling the hotel they discovered the toy and set it aside so my parents could pick it up the next day. We were so very grateful.

Best motel I've stayed in in a long time! I can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating the staff was. The balcony looked down the main drag and some mountains but was very quiet at night. The New Orleans fan manager provided service that seems lacking at so many places today! Thanks Roosevelt's staff for a great stay!

The breakfast was really good, tasty, and fresh-- much better than most other hotels bland food. The staff were very friendly. The room was good and clean, but the bed was a bit too firm for me. I just used a thick mattress pad which helped. The location is great--- close to many tourist attractions.

The team us prepping fir the busy season, so there was a lot if remodeling taking place. Most amenities were closed. The breakfast was still offered but I wouldn’t say great like the other reviews. It was adequate at best.

We really enjoyed our stay at Roosevelt Inn! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We love the gazebo. The breakfast was very good! There was a different menu each morning. We loved all of Roosevelt’s quotes that were in the elevator and the halls of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel! The location was perfect. It was close to Mount Rushmore, custard State Park. Spearfish Canyon is an hour drive. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

The continental breakfast was nicer than all the others bc there were actual plates, bowls, mugs, cups, and flatware - no paper or plastic ware. The beds were very comfortable. Dining choices were within walking distance or a short ride. The onsight indoor pool was in use all the time. We never heard our "neighbors" above, below, or on either side of our room. There were a variety of activities and eating establishments around the Roosevelt Inn. I'd definitely stay there again.

Thoroughly great hotel. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. My favorite thing to do in the morning was to head downstairs, grab a cup of coffee and sit on the rocking chair on the porch. I tended to be up before the other quests so I had a nice quiet hour the porch enjoying my coffee. The hotel staff is very friendly and the room was great. It was only 20 minutes or so to Mount Rushmore. Also a great launching spot for visiting Needles Highway, Custer State Park or even Badlands National Park. 2 hours to Devil's Tower which was an enjoyable drive. All around no regrets staying here and would absolutely do it again.

The Roosevelt is an older facility but well taken care of. The location is right on the corner of where all the action is. Just a short drive to Rushmore. The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was the best we've had in our 3 week travels out west. Fresh and plentiful. The rooms, again they're older, but well kept and clean. The Roosevelt is a very affordable option in Keystone.
