Parking was TERRIBLE! Very difficult to get in/out of parking garage without hitting another vehicle or a concrete pillar. Hotel needs major updating. Carpeting was filthy and my suggestion is to not wear white socks in the room. Outside hallways/stairways were dirty as well and that flooring looks decades old. They could have at least provided USB/outlet extensions as the electrical outlets were few and far between. The hair dryer was hard-wired into the wall and did not work. The front desk loaned me a hair dryer - also did not work. So disappointed with our stay - the biggest positives were comfortable beds and great water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower.

The pool was cold and hot tub was not hot. Asked to see if they can fix this issue. Issue was never fixed. Hotel is out dated needs a remodel.

The parking lot is absolutely terrible. If you are driving anything larger than a small crossover, you will have issues with parking. The lot is small, cramped and tight. The 2nd floor parking is up a very steep single car incline. Coming down that incline is a little scary and you will most likely scratch your front bumper. The room itself was clean and the breakfast is pretty standard.

Pros: The hotel is well situated in Keystone and easy to get to. CONS: ~~The BIG downside! The bathrooms! Literally 6 feet by 7 feet! You have to open the door, squeeze between it and the toilet, to get to the other side of the door to be able to close it! AND they had "squatty pottys"! You know, the kind that put your knees above your waist when you sit down! You better hope your quads are in good shape, since there's no grab bar to pull yourself up! ~~The breakfast is on the 3rd floor, but, of course the elevator was out.

The best thing about staying here is that is right on the end of Keystone's main street of shops and restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere in town. The hotel is also a short drive up the hill to Mount Rushmore. The facility has a parking garage which can be tricky and cramped.

Parking is horrible and tight for a Pickup, Elevator is sketchy and noisy, Toilet would barely flush toilet paper had to have plunged several times. Hot tub water was not very clean. Overall facility needs to have money spent on it. There are several better choices in town for the Same price. I personally would not stay again. Sorry but it’s not a very nice place for a family.

Would not stay here again, black mold behind the toilet. They put us in a handicap room and the floors felt wet and our clothes when we left felt wet! The room was extremely small and parking was not good

The location is perfect, close to Mt Rushmore. Friendly staff. Steps away from restaurants and shopping. The only complaint, the bathroom is tiny! The toilet and bathtub are in a separate room from the sink area and are difficult to access for a disabled person. Because of this, the bathtub needs a grab bar to get in and out of the tub safely.

The room was large and clean. Unfortunately we were next to the elevator so the room was noisy at times from the elevator. We also had the breakfast room on the other side of us. Preparation was also noisy. Breakfast was good though. They were in the middle of updating the upstairs outside decking so it will be really nice for those after us.

Room was very small. I meant to take a picture. There was maybe 3-4 inches on one side of the bed. 2nd person had to crawl out of the end of the bed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Very inconvenient and uncomfortable.

This place is a motel, the room we got was in the first level, very dark, with door towards the parking lot, really tiny room, not comfortable at all. The only thing this place has going for it is its close location to Mount Rushmore and the fact that is in the middle of keystone so the location is great

The facility was clean and location was convenient to several dining options, shopping and attractions. Appreciated parking area on the 2nd level where our room was located. The included breakfast had nice hot & cold offererings. This is obviously an older property and could use some updated furnishings. Our room was too small for 2 queen beds & it was quite cramped. No way it could accould accomodate more than 2 guests comfortably. The interior lighting was poor and the diverter on the shower/bath was hard to operate, but for a 3 day stay Rm 211 was fine.

We had a room on the first floor and no one told us that we had to go through the parking garage to get to our door (it's an outside door). We had to park between the support poles which was a very tight space. Also when I had a question there was no one at the desk and I had to call someone to come to the desk.

We definitely searched for a hot tub. The tub was supposed to be open at 9:00 a.m. ut wasnot working The clerk tried to make work but could not. She then consulted with a person in the mechanical room and came back to tell us the pump motor was broken. I immediaely requested a rebate for lack of service. She reconsulted and came back and the tub now worked. I do. Lt knkw why she kied about this but it was a poor ruse. She bare understands english and thisis terrible service. This location does not have modern oval toilets in room, old round bowls very antique and not big enough for fiull size adults. Bithroom is too small to update. We made pppr choice staying here and left a day early.

The room was very nice and roomy. The bed was very comfortable. The pool wasn't very clean, same for the hot tub. The "hot" free breakfast was a joke. Not much to choose from and everything was cold that was supposed to be warm. Seemed like an old hotel that could use some maintenence. Very fruendly staff

Liked that it was near restaurants. Disliked that there was no care taken with the furnishings. A nice room looked uncared for. Breakfast foods were not warm.(Eggs & Sausage still cool at 7:00.)

It is an older property, but we had most of our needs met. Our room had a small kitchenette, but I had to ask for silverware at the front desk. This property does not have any fitness center, but the surrounding area does seem to have a “keystone fitness walk” route if you are one to be a little adventurous. We found the breakfast nice, hot, and fit our needs. A few more fresh fruits would be my only recommendation. We stayed here for 3 nights. We spent those 3 days exploring in Custer and the Keystone area. We were very happy with the location
