This was our second time to stay here. The place is well lit in the parking lot and quiet. Located between other hotels and conveniently located near food and fuel. My only complaint woukd be that there was some concerns over the cleanliness of the comforter as it had some dirty looking stains under the duvet cover. I do feel as if this is a common issue among hotels though and I'm mindful of that and usually bring my own blanket. I will most likely stay here again since it's near the airport and the price was affordable.

Hotel staff was amazing. They had computer issues when we arrived and only one terminal was working. It took a little while to get checked in, but was out of their control. Our second night, the elevator wasn’t working when we came in and had to use the stairs. The desk clerk came up stairs to check on elevator there. While there, our door key didn’t work, so we called him to come check and he walked back downstairs to fix it and they brought it back to us. Could not have asked for better staff. I know they were frustrated with all the issues they we’re having. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was low, but that seems to be a common thing with hotels these days.

Check-in was conducted quickly, efficiently, & with friendliness. Our room is large, clean, and contains the amenities appreciated on a roadtrip-refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and sitting area. We used the gym. It was clean and maintained.

Service was great , bed is a little firm , room was quiet , breakfast was typical but does have a coffee machine that makes lattes etc , pool is nice and the area seems safe . This was my 2nd stay here and I will likely return

We got a room with 2 beds and a couch so we would have room for 5 family members. The couch was stained and the cushions were ripping open so one member slept on the bench meant for luggage. Nothing worked in the fitness center. Room was spacious, bathroom was clean, breakfast was good.

Sheets were plainly dirty. The topmost blanket had a noticeable brown stain on it (was not gonna scratch n’ sniff it, was pretty sure what it was), a little disturbing. Upon pulling the sheets back, there was also visible dirt and crumbled leaves where the person before had slept (most down in the foot area). As this was later in the evening and the check in staff was bare, so instead of making a ruckus, went to the Walmart down the road and bought my own sheets. If it wasn’t so late in the evening, I’d have asked for a new room. I doubt I’d return between that, and then the 2 of the 3 encountered staff being largely “stand off” ish, the dirty sheets and the very uncomfortable bed. Leaving a rating for a hotel like this, really makes me cringe. I’ve only had one other hotel experience that wasn’t pleasant, and never left a review for the other. I’d avoid this BW, sadly.

I would stay here again if we ever go through Texarkana again. The whole facility was immaculate and I could have eaten off the floor in our room. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. It was set back some off the road but it's worrth finding it.

Wonderful location. Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff is really helpful and kind. The room is spotless, and the bed is very comfortable. They also provide great breakfast. I will definitely return and suggest it.

I’m a firm believer of, “If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all.” I never leave bad reviews even when I probably should as a warning to future guests. I have stayed at many Interstate hotels/motels as my family and I often take road trips across the country, we have young kids and it’s just easier. This Best Western Plus has got to be the CLEANEST room I’ve stayed in, in quite a looooong time. The service from the front desk was quick and friendly. The room was free of dust and icky smells. The bathroom was very clean (free of any hair). The beds and pillows were comfortable and soft. I’m honestly speechless. Thank you to the staff and management for doing such a great job. Thank you for making my family’s stay a pleasant one! By the way, in past reviews I have read and I believe it’s pictured (the old couch is gone). The Lobby is warm and inviting :)

Hallways and common areas are ok but the rooms are musty and in need of a deep cleaning. The first room I checked into had mold on the walls and bed skirt. The front desk put me in another room and it was a bit better but still musty and in need of a deep cleaning. I’ve noticed a trend in hotels the past couple years where the housekeeping does the bare minimum surface cleaning; mostly changing out linens and picking up. When was the last time you’ve heard a vacuum at one of these hotels? Or seen a mop? Smelled chlorine? It’s been a while for me.

We have stayed here many times while passing through on the way to our beach condo. The room is large and has comfortable beds. The regular cleaning of the rooms is not up to my expectations now. Carpet has spots and microwave was dirty. This is our second visit where this was an issue. I wish the manager would address these issues. I saw the same complaint posted by other guests.

I knew this hotel would be your pretty standard, basic hotel, but it is definitely in need of some repairs and updates in the rooms. The lobby felt fine, but the couch in our room was stained and tattered. The wall paper on the bathroom was also peeling up in places. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special.

Check-in at the hotel was pretty straightforward and quick. Our room was comfortable and was a touch larger than expected for a standard room, especially the bathroom. The AC worked well. The beds were comfortable. The shower was OK -- really tall showerhead for a change! My only concern with the hotel was with some of the guests. There was a motorcycle club that showed up with 8 - 10 members. They stayed up until early in the morning playing music loud on their bikes. Our room was near the front desk and near where the bikes were gathered (under the portico). There is no way the clerk didn't hear the racket and yet nothing was done about it. That was disappointing service. The breakfast was decent enough for hotel fare. Egg patties, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, etc. the usual. It was hot though not terribly tasty. Still, it was as good (or better) than grabbing an Egg McMuffin and hashbrowns from McD's so still a good value, all things considered.

After arriving we could not get the tv to work so was going to call the front desk for help, only to find out the telephones also did not work. Went to front desk clerk to ask to be moved to a different room due to weather being bad and traveling next morning. We were then informed the internet had been out for 4 days so no matter what room we went to we would have the same problem. very disappointing that they could not have informed us at check in so we could go elsewhere. In the future I will stick to the Hilton hotels.

I don't know why hotels continue to use the square European bed pillows, no one i know likes these uncomfortable pillows. The bed itself was comfortable but sleep was spoiled by the square pillows.Breakfast is a C+ nothing to get excited about and the bacon is razor thin and you need about 20 pieces to even taste it.

We stayed in the first floor (Room #106). We couldn't draw the curtains in our room all the way. So, there was very bright street lights in our room throughout the night. It was difficult to sleep. Please see if you can make a change to that.

Check in was great! We got there at 10 pm and the man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. After we got to the room he came and helped us get the TV going, brought us extra towels and soap. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable and very calm and quiet atmosphere. The free full breakfast was amazing! The lady in the dining room was very friendly and helpful. Nice parking lot. Clean outside and nice manicured lawn. Check out was quick and easy. I would highly recommend staying here. I didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice.

The guy at the front desk was not welcoming at all. He addressed my husband but totally ignored me. We didn’t get much rest due roof replacement on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. How inconvenient! We should have moved to another hotel like some of the other guests.

Great staff. Room was a little dated. Low water pressure. Only one ice maker working. Nice linens. Bare in mind this hotel is on a one way I-30 frontage road so if you pass it by you must regroup and find your way back. Nice restaurant/bar walkable at hotel next door. Didn't stay for breakfast so no comments on it. We're road tripping seniors.

We had a very comfortable, quiet, and clean room near a convention center and large water park. It was a newer hotel and had plenty of parking. The check-in clerk was great--friendly and efficient. He gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner close by as we had traveled all day long and didn't want to go very far to get dinner. It had a nice breakfast. We would stay there again.

We usually stay here when visiting Texarkana. Never had any problems with cleanliness. Breakfast is usually pretty crowded. Only 1 waffle maker. Still a better place than others we have looked at.

The breakfast eggs are abysmal. The bacon is thin and not very tasty. The cranberry juice and orange juice are good. The fresh fruit is fresh. The biscuits and gravy are ok.
