The building is beautiful and the room was awesome but the pool is really what we stayed here for and that was very disappointing. Would like to give them another try but idk honestly if i want to swim if I'll go.

The hotel itself was good! I have always loved Aloft hotels and this one was decorated very urban & contemporary. However, the downfall was the area, parking, and lack of security. The hotel is not in the best place in downtown, which yes is sometimes the case, but there was no additional hotel security when just walking from parking to hotel doors I saw at least 3 homeless people asleep. The parking area is dark at night and there is no additional security/lights and considering I was a female traveling with my child it was a bit worrisome.

I really liked this hotel. It was a really cool re-use of an old warehouse building. It has a gym and a nice pool, although the pool doesn't get a lot of sun. The rooms were very nice and the staff were really friendly. I was able to check-in early and had no other issues.

Our room was nice and we always love staying at Aloft hotels because everything is usually really nice. This was probably one of the worst ones we stayed at but it was still ok as far as our room went. However, the pool was disgusting with a lot of things floating in it including a bandaid. Then the fitness room wasn’t in the best condition either.

The staff was awesome. The room and elevators smelled like dogs. The carpeted floor was dirty with dust accumulating behind the stone pillar near the wall as well as the metal hvac pipping hanging from the cealing. Half of the metal pipe was loaded with dust closest to the window. The toilet was broke. It took 1 hour to refill with water after flushing. The GM needs to check the housekeeping cleaning process.

Parking confusing because you have to park in a random parking lot around the corner and BEHIND the hotel if all the close spots are taken. It seemed shady at best. As a single woman walking from a dark parking lot carrying a ton of bags a quarter mile to the entrance isn’t ideal. The carpet in the room was filthy and there was something splattered on the wall above the coffee.

We did a staycation, and severed stayed here before, cute hotel but the level of detail to the cleanliness was lacking. The carpets in the room felt grimy and when we entered the room we were met with a smell that resembled urine and mildew. We woke up in the middle of the night with our backs hurting and ended up leaving at 5am. We also only had a quarter of a window for light. The security in the parking lot was impressive for the area, and I never felt unsafe. Check in was great and throughly enjoyed the customer service that was presented.

The hotel has a musky smell when you walk in and in the rooms. The front desk was friendly and courteous. I ordered a quesadilla from the restaurant and it was inedible. Luckily, the front desk did not charge me for it. I would not recommend for families. It’s more for business travelers.

Overall it was great. I was charged around $20 extra after we checked out with no explanation. I spent $60 including a nice tip at the bar and was charged over $80. and there was a puke? stain on our mattress that was visible when we woke up.

I am very disappointed this was the first aloft I have stayed in that didn’t meet my expectations. First of all, the room was not cleaned properly ( towels had make up on them and hair in the sink) I asked the front desk about cleaning and he told me they don’t completely clean once checked in. Also , I left some crackers on my table by a window returned to the room only to find crumbs all over the place and bag torn ( perhaps , a rat) not sure but couldn’t get the front desk on the line to complain upon , check was told manager wasn’t available. At any rate , totally disappointed.

Loved the location and affordability of the hotel. The on-the- go food options were a smart & convenient setup. The size & design/aesthetic of the rooms were incredible! A few small details of the room were mini bothers but nothing I couldn't get past. For example, the light switch setup was odd, the bathroom lights were linked to the main room lights, I could see that being a problem if 2 people are staying in a room and one needs the bathroom in the middle of the night. There was also a pipe on the ceiling over in the corner that was slowly leaking a tiny water puddle onto the carpet, but it was out of the way and not super noticeable. Overall a great place to stay, I'd seek out Aloft again.

Good proximity to the convention center. Felt safe right outside the hotel, but not so much if you wander a couple blocks away. The building is an interesting apparent renovation of an old factory. However, they didn't think through some things. For example, when you turn on the light in the sink area, it also turns on the light in the bedroom, so you wake up anyone trying to sleep--or you have to brush your teeth or shave in the dark. There is a nice exercise room.

Great Lobby Vibe with amazing amenities! Service was seamless. The room was rather interesting. First glance walking in I’m met with a huge structural pole right by the door that you can play hide and seek around. Remote to the TV was working half the time, toilet wasn’t flushing at some point but just had to hold the lever down, couple cracks and damage in the bed frame / decor around the room and some of the outlets weren’t working even with turning accessory switches on (if they were switches for the outlets). One odd part about the layout was the bathroom being behind the bedroom area, however the only way I was able to turn the bathroom lights on was to turn the switch on which is right next to the room door. Overall, I feel that it may have just been my own room and not every room may be the same. If you’re looking for a convenient, downtown city - centered hotel with a cool vibe then it’s definitely a spot to consider!

I arrive that day at 10:30am, was sitting in the lobby, I checked at noon to see if the room was available, the same staff insisted I needed to wait unit 2 pm to check-in even the room was available at 12pm, or he wanted to charge me $75 for early check-in fee even I am a Gold member. At 1:30m that guy was not around, I spoke to a female staff and she was nice enough to let me check-in. Later that night I wanted to take a shower and there was no hot water, the boiler system was down and it was an issue to many guests. The guy told me he would request for a $20 breakfast credit. In the morning I run into that same guy that refused to check me in early the day before, he told me I could get the tea for complimentary and when I told him I suppose to get the breakfast credit from the cold shower he was reluctant to honor that... by then my Uber has arrived so I gave up and left. Overall pretty terrible experience with that staff and the cold shower staying!

My daughter and I came for a cheer competition and was not familiar with the area. I needed to go to CVS but did not want to lose my upfront parking. I can't remember his name but he is the black guy that works up front and is from Memphis. He walked my daughter and I to CVS. He was very nice and didn't have to do that. That is what I call exemplary service. Will be back.

The air conditioner wasn’t working even after we switched rooms. Also the staff when we checked in had nasty attitudes and didn’t explain anything about the hotel. “Checking in for 2 nights!” That’s the only explanation about the hotel we got. Somebody also left there phone in the lobby when we turned it in they looked at us crazy. The whole vibe was off I will never stay there again awful service.

We came in really late and the young woman at the desk was very friendly, understanding and helpful. This morning, the front desk ladies were also VERY nice. The rooms are SO spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. This is a lovely hotel and exactly what I would expect from a Marriott property.

When we checked in the person was very nice. That was the first and last good thing about the property. It was not in the best area, the toilet hardly flushed, no hot water. I chose this hotel due to the pictures and aesthetics on the website, but they were nowhere to be found. Our room was bland. When we talked to the person about the water they replied, “you’re not the first person to complain.” This did not change. Second day and still not hot water. We were told someone would contact us and never did. This morning as we checked out early, the person was more interested in hitting on the girl checking in then to help us. Again, he said someone would reach out, and still have yet to hear from them. I would not recommend staying here.

I really liked the hotel itself. Fantastic, huge and very “alofty” room. Great view of the cattle sculptures in the Pioneer Park. Very close to the 6th Floor Museum; just a 10 minute walk. The area around the hotel is deserted in the evening. I didn’t feel safe going outside after dark.

The property is beautiful & in a great location. This was our 2nd stay & we were satisfied as before. Its close to lots of entertainment & food but not overly noisy. Rooms were very clean & we had a WONDERFUL view! Parking was easy & the staff was polite.
