The staff is friendly and helpful. I wish there had been more protein options at breakfast. The pool is small! Just be prepared for that. In our room, the conditioner pump did not work. We were only there for one night, so I didn't report it. For us, it was an economical choice and convenient - within 15 minutes - to Natural Bridge Caverns.

Pool area was awful, no where to sit, that black tarp around the pool fence was so tacky. No lounge chairs and super tiny pool. Real disappointed. The family that was there were hogging all the area. Big spot on the carpet. And there was a cover for the tub full of mold. Truly disappointed, won’t stay there, chose the hotel for the pool especially on a hot day

This “so-called” hotel is a construction site! I was met by construction workers inside and out upon check-in. The elevator has massive peeling paint and construction pieces on the floor, and the carpet is dirty with construction drywall, boards, and equipment. Eventually, strong fumes throughout the hotel with paint stripper and other strong chemicals being used. I felt like I needed a N95 mask! This place is an environmental safety hazard, and I finally checked out and into a Marriot hotel in San Antonio. I didn't have any of these problems at the Marriot. At the Comfort Inn, I had to walk over screws, boards, and around construction workers to enter and exit. It needs to close down immediately until the construction work is done. Why does this company stay open when it is clearly an OSHA violation? This construction site needs to be placed in expedited and other hotel advertisements. OSHA needs to investigate this place immediately! The front desk staff were friendly, but I felt terrible for them.

It's being remodeled so it's a bit of a mess. I'm sure it'll be good when they're done but I wouldn't stay there until then. The whole floor smelled of fresh paint, some of the lights in the room didn't work, the tub was clogged. Limited breakfast options; no waffles, bagels, or cereal; warm food was gone by the time we got there; OJ machine was broken. We've had an excellent experience at other Comfort Inns, including on this trip, but wouldn't stay at this location again, at least until the remodel is complete.

The hotel is well-located, which is convenient. Unfortunately, they are undergoing renovations, and this was not disclosed to us beforehand. Many areas are either closed or under construction, and there is a lot of dust, which affected our overall experience.

We stayed for a soccer tournament. The hotel is under renovation so the laundry room was down. The front desk was so nice they took some of players clothes and washed them and dried them for us in the main laundry room. They went above and beyond can’t wait to go back and see the new look.

We called the property before renting the room to ask if the pool was open so we could enjoy the pool. Went to a festival next door. And, left the show early to enjoy the pool for a few hours and when we got there they said, it was closed cuz they were doing some repairs. So we didn't even get to enjoy the pool. And, when we were leaving the house keepers were being rude and talking in spanish saying something about check out was at 11am thinking we didn't understand them.

Arrived a few hours before check in and the front desk clerk was kind enough to let us in early. Room looked and smelled cleaned. Next morning there was a bunch of water bugs and Beatles in the bathroom and in the tub. Later in the morning there was a huge spider in the bathroom (it’s Texas and they’re bugs I get it). Air conditioner didn’t cool room. The room was way too warm for being set at 60*. My shower was warm, not hot but Husband had to take a cold shower. No hot water. Room service came and replaced the 2 towels we had but didn’t make the bed or empty the trash. We had a first floor room off to the side of the building. Other guest were coming down and smoking weed by our window and the smell was coming into the room. Wasn’t a pleasant stay at all. No complaints were made by us at the desk as we were there to sleep and shower. we will not stay here again.

We found roaches in the bathroom and one even woke us up crawling on us in bed. This is not ok. I have never experienced this in a hotel before. Overall hotel was quiet. I would left hotel if we had not planned to leave early as we had a 0700 soccer game to catch.

I have stayed at this location many times. This time the sheets were dirty and when i asked them to change then i was told they didnt have enough staff but they could give ne sheets to make my own bed. It pains me to give such a poor review because i have stayed there so many times. I was also trwated very poorly when i went to take a picture when staff told ne they had already pulled the sheets. If they had time to pull them why couldn't they just out new ones on. Very disappointing

What would’ve made my stay more enjoyable was if the bathroom was cleaned and maintained regularly. There was mold on the ceiling and the toilet was leaking after every flush. Also having housekeeping bring fresh towels and things would be nice

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. We only stayed overnight but the front desk and all staff we encountered were warm, welcoming, and friendly. We were a little bummed to learn upon arrival that, because they're transitioning to a Hilton Sparks, they are no longer doing hot breakfast (as advertised) and, instead, have a bagel bar. Bagels, cream cheese, juice, coffee, and tea were available and were satisfying in the morning. There was a decent amount of evidence, especially in the common areas, that renovations had been going on - paint splatters and just general construction debris laying around. The space was generally very clean and we had no problems in our king bed room. Appreciated the new, white linens, updated furniture, and roomy space. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well-stocked with toiletries. We would definitely return for a quick trip.Thanks for a great stay!

The TV would not work. It showed the welcome screen but would not change channels. I couldn’t even turn it off! I called the desk and he said he could move us to another room! I was already in bed and didn’t want to be moved. He then said he could call the 800 number but it would take awhile! This is unforgivable!!

Beds were comfprtable, rooms spacious. Only missing item was a clock in the room. Employees were welcoming and met all needs. Door to the room was a but heavy to open and took a while to close, which could be positive in some situations and help if one has children who like to escape.

The lack of concern over the experience at this hotel is not what I would expect from a name like Hilton. The first issue happened when I arrived in the lobby, there was no one behind the counter. There was a man and his young son who had been waiting for some time already. I dialed the phone number listed, every menu option simply rang the front desk which did no good given no one was there. We waited approximately 10 minutes before someone arrived and because I was second in line, it was likely closer to 30 minutes before I made it into my room. And it didn't get better then.

The hotel wouldn't let me check in, saying that the payment from Expedia wouldn't go through. But I checked Expedia charged my credit card successfully. Then, the hotel cancelled the reservation and asked me to book the hotel room directly. I did, but the Expedia now wouldn't do a refund. I paid the Expedia, then paid the hotel directly for the same room the same night. The hotel said that they couldn't get payment from Expedia but when I asked Expedia to issue a refund, Expedia refused. Expedia customer service email was a mess, as a different rep replied to my email without any contexts and I had to repeat my case but nobody understood my story!!!! Terrible, horrible, hopeless, angry!!!

Expedia customer service email was a mess, as a different rep replied to my email without any contexts and I had to repeat my case but nobody understood my story!!!! We stayed for a soccer tournament. The hotel is under renovation so the laundry room was down. The front desk was so nice they took some of players clothes and washed them and dried them for us in the main laundry room. They went above and beyond can’t wait to go back and see the new look.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I wish there had been more protein options at breakfast. The pool is small! Just be prepared for that. In our room, the conditioner pump did not work. We were only there for one night, so I didn't report it. For us, it was an economical choice and convenient - within 15 minutes - to Natural Bridge Caverns.

This is a relatively new property - at least thats how it feels. The facility is clean with no weird smells. Staff has been helpful. Construction on the nearby interstate isnt fun to navigate, but getting to the hotel isnt that problematic.

The hotel was clean, loved the room with the sofa,the location is a bit tough because of all the road construction at this time. I wish the breakfast was a bit more than cereal and hard boiled eggs. The price for the room though was great.

The Room was great. It had lots of room and was very comfortable. The microwave was the cheapest model they could buy, thare was no coffee pot in the room, had to ask the desk for an ice bucket, the fridge was one of those that just kept thangs cold but had no freeze capability to freeze our ice packs. Road construction forced us to drive 3 miles to get around the road closure to get to the hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. We only stayed overnight but the front desk and all staff we encountered were warm, welcoming, and friendly. We were a little bummed to learn upon arrival that, because they're transitioning to a Hilton Sparks, they are no longer doing hot breakfast (as advertised) and, instead, have a bagel bar. Bagels, cream cheese, juice, coffee, and tea were available and were satisfying in the morning. There was a decent amount of evidence, especially in the common areas, that renovations had been going on - paint splatters and just general construction debris laying around. The space was generally very clean and we had no problems in our king bed room. Appreciated the new, white linens, updated furniture, and roomy space. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well-stocked with toiletries. We would definitely return for a quick trip.Thanks for a great stay!

We liked the hotel have stayed at other spark hotels always clean and staff are great the only problem we had which was not the hotels fault was they closed down the street in front of hotel had to drive around at night with all the bright lights coming from workers and police trying to find out how to get to hotel after several attempts we got escorted by the police .
