I was a little disappointed because it took so long for me to get checked into room , not so much because of the check in staff but because of marketing people trying to make sells for 90 min property visits, this went on for 2 days until I finally had to be firm about No! Then my card was billed twice for this trip , resort billed me without checking that I already had paid! 200 dollars coupons very deceptive, couldn’t use them on anything of value!

Nice hotel, the amenities are excellent, the pool nice and huge. The beach is awesome if you dont’t mind the crowd coming by boats to the nearby pier or outsiders since the beach is public it tends to be super crowded. The other drawback, is the mutation of the “all inclusive” concept, yes you get unlimited alcohol but of the cheapest type, they are understaffed so wherever retaurant you chose , there is a queue, waiting time while tables are empty and available. Last, in one of the restaurants there was 30 min waiting time , UNLESS you buy a bottle of wine then the table is available immediately… In summary, nice place to be but without the” all inclusive “ options if possible ! It is a waste of money ! The breakfast buffet was great !

Scams, Coercion, and Disrespect: Hyatt Tolerates Crimes in Cancun Hyatt cultivates a "tourist trap" culture at Breathless Cancun. At the Italian restaurant, this past July 4th, the hostess, sommelier, and waiter all guaranteed that the voucher I received at check-in could be used to pay for part of a bottle of wine. I tried to pay the difference on the spot, but they insisted: "Pay at checkout." A coordinated scam to force consumption. At checkout, the agent, Joshua, refused the voucher, claiming "fine print" (alleging it was only for champagne). I asked them to check the restaurant's security cameras to prove what the staff had promised, but they refused. They only use cameras against the guests. Right next to me, another couple was apparently facing the exact same pressure over an improper charge; it is clearly a recurring practice. When I demanded to speak to management, Esteban appeared, aggressive and intimidating. He only backed down when I started filming. Joshua went as far as threatening me: "If you don't pay, I won't let you leave the hotel." As a foreigner in a strange country, this was terrifying! Absolute coercion and unlawful detention. At breakfast, a staff member named Ana moved my personal belongings on the table without my presence or permission. When confronted, she was arrogant.
