Stayed 4 nights

I want to provide an accurate and fair assessment for this property. The continent was in the midst of a summer heat wave which impacted the stay. Location: It was phenomenal. Located across from two parks and walking distance to anything you need. Flat: It was rather old and felt as if a lot of the niceties had not been kept up with. The lift was not operational so we had to haul luggage up and down stairs. There was no real AC in the room as the listing states. The central air appeared to not function so they brought in a portable AC unit. The unit was too small to cool the space and had to be vented meaning that the sliding door had to remain open when the unit was running. The towel heater was broken in the bathroom which added heat to an already hot flat. The kitchen was good and had most of what was needed to prepare a proper meal. The unit itself was spacious and fit a family of 4 comfortably. Even with the broken items it did feel quintessentially British; which was nice. Hosts: the hosts were fantastic and Lisa in reception was excellent. They were responsive and provided an easy check in/check out experience. They provided welcome gifts upon arrival (which our kids loved) and made sure that everything went smoothly. Overall: Our stay was pleasant but I would not return again during summer unless they fix the central AC and provide proper cooling.

I booked this hotel for my husband. He loved everything about the place, and was so happy that the room was spacious enough for tai chi!

This place was incredible. It was essentially a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen a full living room and dining room. Location is incredible for Mayfair and Hyde Park. The only criticism I had was that I had a room at the front of the property. It faced onto a popular cut through road so you could hear the traffic outside until around 1am. But it was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The check in was a self check in which was super easy with the timely communication from the property. I will stay here again!

Huge appt. Did smell a little of smoke when we first went in but think it was maybe where someone had smoked on the balcony. Didn’t notice thereafter. Check in was polite and friendly. Apartment is huge and very well equipped. Stayed with our two dogs and they were very well catered for with bed, bowls, poo bags and treats. Kitchen is fully equipped for a great stay and the apartment is in an enviable location. Lovely walk around Hyde park to serpentine cafe for breakfast. Thanks for a great stay, Would stay again
