9 Hertford Street Mayfair

This large one bedroom was perfect for our family of three. They let us check in early and lent us umbrellas for the rain. Everything was clean and comfortable. They had lots of extra touches - like laundry detergent - to make our stay super comfortable. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.

We often visit our son who lives in the area and usually stay in one of the local hotels. Found this apartment/hotel on Expedia and booked it as less than 100 yards from our son. Most impressed, large lounge with separate bedroom and well appointed kitchen and balcony too. Price was excellent and staff were very welcoming. Highly recommended and will use again..

A wonderful stay in a perfect location. The most Pet Friendly place we have ever stayed in London and we have tried many. We stayed in the lovely Club Room with a huge, private and safe terrace for dogs. The staff really make this Aparthotel truly 5 stars. To feel welcomed with dogs and not rushed out of the way like in many "pet friendly" hotels in London is very rare. We also used their dog sitting service so we could enjoy a theatre show, knowing the dogs were looked after for the evening by the lovely Lourdes. 5 minutes walk from both St James or Hyde Park and so many dog friendly places nearby. 5 stars and we will most certainly be back.

We stayed in apartment 402 for three nights during our time in London. For us the location was perfect. Just off the main road on a quiet street. This apartment, 402, was a bit dated and could use some new features. The carpet was stained and worn out and the furniture was old but it didn’t affect the stay. We cooked and used the kitchen everything worked just fine. The kitchen had a dishwasher and a washer dryer combo that we used too. The apartment has a huge balcony that is very nice but it connects to the apartment next door and there was no way to close it off. The unit had two huge TVs and we were even able to mirror our iPhone to the tv and watch Netflix on it. The staff was very friendly and helped us to the unit and even helped us when the safe locked us out. The unit is huge com To the hotel room our friends had and having a kitchen saved some money.

Great location, stayed for a treat for partners birthday. Well appointed and clean, great staff. Balcony was a bonus too.

9 Hertford street is a real home away from home. Hugely spacious for London at a very reasonable price. The staff are friendly and welcoming and were on hand for local knowledge or any issues with the apartment. When we arrived they'd put the electric fire in and all the lamps to make it feel warm and homely. The apartment is very cosy with good quality mattress, linens and sofa along with book cases and pictures making it feel like a proper home. It's not the most contemporary or luxury design but it's also not at that price point. We had our dog with us who was welcomed with a bed, bowl of water, treats and a toy. The balcony was on hand for his morning routine and it's a perfect place to stay if travelling with pets due to the large amount of space compared to a hotel room. On site parking is another major plus point at a very fair price considering it's Mayfair. Getting to the car park involves some pretty tight angles so make sure your car is either a bit smaller or you are ace at parking.

GREAT place with regard to period ambience, staff friendliness, overall cleanliness & ease of taxi availability. Our only issues with the place is if you get locked out without your key, & no one’s on desk, you are stranded!!! Also, we had major issues with our shower head, but it was our fault for failing to report it, so sorry! otherwise, AWESOME STAY & would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We took 3 apartments for a special family weekend in London. Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Apartments were spotless. Location was perfect. I can't wait for the next trip. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Good location but not a “wonderful” property. Each apartment is different, so the experience likely varies accordingly. This apartment was tired with poor air conditioning and torn carpet. I would not stay again.

Our stay was mediocre at best. The unit was much more run-down than I expected. The cabinets in the kitchen had lots of 'worn out' areas by the cabinet pulls. The couches/chairs were very warn and dirty looking. It has obviously not been update in a very long time. The carpet is worn. The bathroom is worn out too. Overall not very impressed w/the unit for the price. The younger man at the front desk seemed dismissive and unfriendly. The woman and older man we only saw once were friendly. Often the front desk was empty. Upon check-out I could not reach anyone. I sat in lobby for an hour at 10am - nobody came. I called the number repeatedly including 2 numbers that are on a business card located in lobby. Left voicemails and they were never returned. Nobody ever showed up.

This property is absolutely amazing! The staff are so kind and professional too from check in to check out. Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights in June. We stayed on the 1st floor. So much room for our family to spread out and not be on top of each other. Everything was very clean. You can tell they have put so much thought and care into every detail from the decorating to the added things they put in the kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom. The location is perfect too! So much is close by to walk to including Buckingham Palace. Neighborhood is very cute and clean. Very nice area! We will definitely recommend staying here to friends and we will definitely be back to stay here again. We found our home away from home when in London.

4 stars but a bit disappointing. No huge issues, more like death from 1,000 cuts. Great first impression; large, well appointed, light, airy, wonderful bedding. Windows face pub. Closing them works but we like to feel a breeze and hear the raindrops. Bathroom - toilet clearly not scrubbed, dirt in corner behind door, toilet flush from 60’s, shower/tub highest off ground I’ve seen. Kitchen - ample amenities (lovely teapot and cozy). Washer/dryer was a HUGE factor in renting place, but no instructions. Had to go to YouTube to figure out. 2 hours to dry 2 pairs of jeans! Dining area was elegant, an example, like bedding, that made place comfortable. Living room spacious and relaxing though one of couches lacked support. You sat and sunk! Large desk offered excellent workspace, but would have been practical to have phone charger or accessible electric outlet. Again, nice apartment, but small details detracted from overall. Bigger detail - when walking into bedroom, we often smelled faint cig and weed odor coming from air ducts directly above threshold. Interior soundproofing lacked. Every time people across hall opened door, our door rattled. Sounded like someone coming into our place. NOT good! So many little details could have been improved, so many missed opportunities to make us love 9 Hertford. Overall, a decent apartment, but with few adjustments, could have been great. For money we paid, and great first impression, we expected more. Great service from staffer Lourdes.

Wow super location with easy walking to Bond and Oxford streets. Also easy walk to Buckingham palace. Many Small cozy Pubs restaurants dot the neighborhood. They don’t show up on the internet but they are there. This is a Vintage property that is well kept, clean but has its quirks too. The reception and housekeeping staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of tea, coffee and cookies provided. Would stay there again.

Excellent position in the heart of Mayfair. Very close to shepherds market with multiple restaurants. Extremely close to Hyde Park and all it has to offer, Oxford street and Piccadilly all within walking distance. The accommodation was spacious with a separate kitchen, dining room and lounge and separate bedroom. Perfect for families, couples or individuals. The lounge offers a great work and comfortable relaxing space. Highly recommended.

Fantastic. Huge (for London) one bed apartment for a quarter of the price of the grand hotels a couple of streets over. Location is brilliant, right in the middle of Shepherds market, so every bar and restaurant you can imagine. If we move back to London, this is where we’ll live. I have no idea how they do this for this price in this location.

Staff are always excellent and credit to the property. Lourdes was super awesome and couldn’t do enough for us. We will be back again

Fantastic Location. Property is beautiful, but could use a little bit of updating. Well maintained, and the staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, warm.

Property was just as advertised, very warm and perfect for our stay. I would definitely be booking this property again. There wasn’t anybody on the front desk when we arrived and we did have to wait for 20min in the rain to be let in which wasn’t great. Especially when I did respond to an email from the front desk stating that we would be arriving at 2pm the check in time. But other than that

Perfectly situated for Hyde park British summer time concerts. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Easy access to green park. Lovely apartment.

Great location close to the Underground, other public transportation, and Buckingham Palace. Really nice to have a kitchen for some meals. The 1 bedroom was perfect for our family of 4 to spread out and have more space than a normal hotel room.
