Great location, great staff, but… didn’t like having to “chase” towels when we wanted to exchange them and on more than one occasion there were none available at the time we wanted to turn them in. We eventually did get new towels, but had to make multiple trips to the front desk to do so. Given we were about a half block from our building to the desk, it was fairly inconvenient. We also didn’t understand why the washer/dryer combos were turned off at exactly 8pm and your laundry would be locked in the machines until 8am the next morning. If the reasoning was to reduce noise for those in rooms around the laundry room I can assure you that you could not hear them running outside of the small laundry room.

Great place very centralized to the train stations it’s a little small but if you are traveling by yourself or with someone else it’s great. Perfect for if you don’t plan on staying in the room great price. This place doesn’t haven’t an elevator so if you have trouble with stairs then try and get a downstairs room.

Good size studio with self-catering equipment, located in a safe and quiet area near King's Cross/St Pancras travel links. Has secluded garden for guests (not a play-space).

I was very disappointed in their on-site laundry system. The dryers didn’t function properly. On two occasions it required six hours from wash to drying.

Was fantastic to have a little kitchen & meal area. The apartment was perfect for my 5 night stay & I felt right at home in a great part of London. Extra bonus was the laundry facilities so I could wash & dry clothes.

Terrific location. Clean and friendly studios. Close to so many restaurants n pubs and the tube. Only drawback is no lifts. For older folks be sure to book 1st or 2nd floor. There is a free laundry which is great. Thank you.

Location is pretty solid for the rate you are paying in London. Very close to several key tube and train stations that can get you anywhere quickly without many changes. The room was fine. Super small shower. Bed was mediocre at best. Hotel was in average condition. Washers were a little dirty and need maintenance. Dryer took hours to get things dry. One small load took about 4 hours to from start to finish. They only allow washing and drying from 8 am to 8 pm so you basically have to commit a day to it. Better to use a nearby laundry service which they area has many. Overall we enjoyed our stay and for the price are happy and would be back. 7.5 out of 10

If you stay less than 7 nights, the hotel doesn't provide any cleaning service... We have been stayed for 6 nights and unforunately, we have not got any room service...

Person on reception was nice. Room I booked should not legally be allowed to be rented out. Required climbing over a double bed to get to the kitchen bench. Second room most uncomfortable pillows I had in all the 12 accommodations I booked whilst travelling. Two fridges in the room with the one I choose to use not working, ruining my food before realising there was a second one. Tired, run down. Dirty laundry bags regularly left in the hall. Cleaning person pushed past me in the tiny hallway whilst chatting on her mobile rather than letting me get through. Disappointed and not what I expected, particularly given the photos shared on Hotels.com and how nice the street is.

I had booked this property as I had a good experience 8 years ago but was disappointed this time. The property is very outdated. I also had to go to the reception to have towels changed since they do not provide housekeeping, but most of the times they were out of fresh towels, so I had to check several times to get them changed.

The property was fine and essentially good value. Not expensive. The room was small, but I had a room with a balcony and two sets of French doors opening to overlook the park, which was very nice and made the room feel larger. The bathroom is tiny. The sink smaller yet and they give you a very small bar of soap, perhaps to make the bathroom seem larger. There’s no elevator. In my building, there was always laundry collection piled up in the entry hall. Not great. There’s a 24 hour/ day person at the front desk and they were very accommodating. The neighborhood I would say is mid-level at best , and the options for dining in the immediate area were pretty limited in terms of quality. Major train and underground stations are nearby so getting around was easy. Overall, I recommended it as a pleasant stay and good value for the price.

The room was quite compact in size with a very comfy bed. The biggest issues were the cleanliness, there was a strong pungent smell coming from the microwave in the room, we didn’t dare open this, and the bathroom smelt of body sweat and odour, which was also apparent near the door to the room.

Conveniently positioned for early Eurostar. Compact studio up two flights of very steep stairs. Full kitchen facilities. Great price. Main issue was my bed was placed directly under a draughty sash window with no headboard and wifi signal and speed very poor.

We had a large studio & it was great for our two night stay. It was very clean, everything worked well ...... good shower, comfy bed.

The room didn’t look like the pics ( more like a college dorm) but the real problem was the bathroom. Tiny sink , tiny shower ( difficult getting in and out) and knees practically hit the wall sitting on the toilet. Also, Nowhere to set anything in the shower. Definitely needs updating but is close to St Pancras/ Kings Cross if that’s your goal.

The property is in an excellent location, walking distance of many tourist attractions. The area around the accommodation is lovely, lots of pubs and restaurants. The superior studio we stayed in had a teeny, tiny patio and unlikely to ever see any sun, this wasn’t explained clearly enough in the property description. Rooms are basic, clean but getting a little tired.

It's time to get new mattresses, they are old and uncomfortable.

We chose this hotel based on the reasonable price, room size and location. We booked the Executive Studio. The room size was great and we liked having the small kitchen. The down side was the very small bathroom. It was functional, but the shower was tiny and the sink was small with minimal shelf space to put your accessories. Also, there wasn’t an electrical outlet in the bathroom. On the plus side, the location worked out great, with good restaurants close by, and easy walking distance to three subway stations, which we used a lot. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

Small basement room with very cramped layout. Bed has no headboard and not quite sure where you put the table and chairs that are in the wardrobe folded up ! On the plus side the location is good and it was quiet.

This is always my first choice for accommodation when visiting London and ive stayed here a few times now. Great accommodation in a lovely part of London. Ten minutes from Kings X but on a quiet street with plenty of amenities. Friendly staff, clean room.

We arrived early at St. Pancras Station on the Eurostar from Paris. It was pouring with rain, and we walked to the hotel. As if that weren't enough, the person at the desk was very impatient with guests and somewhat rude. He mocked us as we were checking in, despite the bad day we'd had and the jet lag from our 10-hour flight to Paris a few days earlier (this man was over 40, slightly bald, and looked Middle Eastern). We were about to change hotels but decided to stay because we were tired. We stayed for about four days. Afterward, I asked for soap or towels, and there was another person at the desk, a much friendlier woman. The hotel in general is fine. It's a quiet area with great dining options and is within walking distance of the British Museum and Soho.

Check-in experience was DREADFUL! The receptionist insisted I needed to pay when I had already pre-paid. I had to go back to reception three times to get an electronic key that actually worked (and that involved lugging heavy suitcase to a different building each time, up and down steps) And the entrance was stacked high with yellow laundry bags, when I arrived, when I went to bed and again when I left - I literally had to try and wheel my case through them.

Great room and fabulous shower. The only issue was the wifi which wasn’t strong in the room. But there is a wonderful common room very close by that was great for working in. Kitchenette was so useful. Truly well thought through. And lots of cupboard space. Superb location. Will definitely stay again.

Ideally located for a late Eurostar arrival into London. Check-in was very quick as my arrival was anticipated and staff were extremely pleasant. I had a minor issue with the keycard reader (which was quickly resolved by reception) and the climb to the top floor was tiring after a full day's travel, however, the location meant I had a solid 10 hour's sleep without disturbance. The studio had a full kitchen including an oven and freezer but I only needed the kettle and microwave. The complimentary refreshments were appreciated as were the little things like Fairy liquid, a new sponge scrubber and kitchen roll. The bathroom was well appointed and included toiletries and even a dental kit. Reception held my luggage after check-out until I caught my afternoon onward train. Highly recommended.

Booked for my daughter: 3 nights but due to change in her travel plans she couldnt make the first night so arrived on the 2nd evening instead to find the reservation was cancelled without warning/message and the room resold! Leaving a 19 year old alone in London at nighf without a room. No help offered. No manager available and the girl on the desk rude and unhelpful and wouldn't even give her name! Am currently fighting for a refund which they are refusing despite having resold thenroom! Dont deserve to be represented on expedia. Dont stay here! Crooks!

Lots of things wrong with this stay. Firstly there is a misrepresentation about the room. The published photographs do not align to what you actually get. The room stank of cigarette smoke, broken tiles in the bathroom and most unacceptably the thermostat was broken on a defunct and leaking shower. Not what you want first thing in the morning.

Just returned from a 2 week stay at Studios2let Bloomsbury. Excellent location close to public transportation. Very quiet neighborhood, but just around the corner are shops and pubs. We found the property to be well maintained, a small, but well appointed full kitchen, and very comfortable bed. The staff was amazing, always with a cheery attitude, and excellent knowledge of the area. Many thanks to Gian, Naomi, and Aistijus for all of their assistance and patience. There is a laundry room in every building, making extended stays all the more acceptable. We felt that the price that we paid for our stay was quite conservative for what Studios2let offers. See you next year!

Hotel is great - a quiet spot but really well connected to Kings X / St Pancras / Euston.

Nice place to stay, locates at the central London. Easy to commute, the British museum and Library all within walking distance. Lots of dinning and shopping places nearby.

I love the location, everything you need is close, supermarket, cafes and gorgeous parks.

The location of Studios2Let Bloomsbury is fantastic and close to Euston station, Kings Cross and St. Pancras International. The units were clean, staff was friendly and the neighborhood safe, even in the early hours in the morning. The only reason I did not give a five-star review was that the bathroom was tiny as in micro. There was hardly enough room to turn around in the bathroom. Would we stay again? Yes in a heartbeat. Just be warned about the small bathrooms of the studio room.

Exactly the place I needed for a week stay in London. Within walking distance of the major subway and train lines. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable bed, more than enough amenities in the room. Microwave, stove and oven were nice to have. From Heathrow airport the subway is about an hour and then a five to ten minute walk to the property. Will stay again in the future.

The location was great, walked easily to attractions. Noise from outside woke us up most nights.

The location is great. There are several pubs within walking distance Kings Cross train and bus station are also close, about a 6 to 10 min walk. The room is small. No coffee pot just a kettle to boil water. If you like coffee id bring a french press or buy wheb you get there.

Close to British Library and British Museum. Easy walk to underground, restaurants and pubs. Great neighborhood. Room was small but sufficient for two. Kitchen was well equipped.

The location is perfect for public transportation, also lots of small restaurants and coffee shops nearby. A park with tennis courts is across the street. The studio we had was tiny, though it had all the amenities advertised. We hoped to have breakfast in but no coffeemaker of any kind made us go out. Staff available 24/7 and very helpful.

The accommodations were very basic. While there was a kitchen , it was very basic. Did not even have a coffee maker or press but one was give. When asked for. 2 towels and no fade cloths or hand towels. Very basic

I will definitely stay here again. The best thing about Cartwright Gardens was it's proximity to the tube, busses, and trains (St. Pancras/King's Cross Station is a 10 minute walk), as well as the British Museum, British Library, Trafalgar Square, etc. The accommodations themselves are delightful. Small, of course, but containing everything needed for a comfortable and affordable stay. The kitchens have basic necessities-dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, dish soap and cloths. Lots of storage space for unpacking. A fan, safe and blowdrier in the wardrobe. Ironing and laundry facilities in the basement. I stayed here in July and it could get hot without air-conditioning. The window opens onto the street, facing a small park with tennis courts. As there is a language school across the way, the park and courts could get noisy at night, with the young adult language students hanging out there and other youth having loud conversations. If sleeping with a small fan and closed window isn't your scene, I'd recommend an air conditioned unit. That said, the street and area are gorgeous. Big trees, quiet mornings, beautiful heritage buildings. Even wildlife! Keep an eye out for the green parakeet that lives in one of the trees near the tennis court. The staff are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. One lent me their French Press for the week, which was a godsend. Again: highly recommended.

I really like Studios2Let Bloomsbury. I've stayed here four times, and I keep coming back because the location is perfect for exploring London, with great connections to the tube and rail lines. Plus, the immediate neighborhood is great with lots of pubs, restaurants, and cafes. In my experience, the rooms are immaculately clean, and I really enjoy the flexibility of having a kitchenette for meals. Staff have always been a pleasure to interact with. Admittedly, the rooms are small, and some of the furnishings could use a refresh, but for the price, the overall quality of this place is unbeatable. I travel to London often for work and pleasure, and I've never found a better all-around deal.

We appreciated the comfort, price and location, close to shops and tube. As London is expensive it was great having the option to make breakfast or dinner in the suite. The kitchen was well equipped.

It's a very good option in Bloomsbury, especially for anyone who is going to be staying a little longer and needs a bit of additional space beyond what a typical hotel room would provide to stretch out a bit. I didn't make use of the kitchenette, but it was there. Very centrally located. The place doesn't have the common space or amenities that regular hotel has, but that's really okay because it isn't a regular hotel.

The studio kitchen was well equipped. Lots of grocery outlets, pubs, near to Brit. Library. Walkable to Brit. Museum. Friendly Staff. Room faced a charming wooded park.. We felt at home.
