This hotel was bland at best. I won’t stay here again. The pictures looked great when choosing a place to stay. First, I couldn’t figure out right away where to pull up to check in. It was in an awkward position. The room was so humid when we got in, the bedsheets felt like they were wet. The internet was crummy to where we couldn’t use our firestick. In the morning when I really wanted some coffee, the machine wouldn’t work. It was cheap, so I thought I was getting a good deal. You get what you pay for.

The room was clean. Check-in was a breeze. Parking was OK, but there is no place to park at the front where you check in unless you are disabled. So you have to park off to the side and walk over to the front. That's no big deal unless it's 100 degrees out (as it was) and you have a dog in the car. No pets, then no problem. The good thing about pets is that they allow pets in the room and do not charge an extra fee! That's very positive, however, I checked a place we stayed two weeks earlier in the same area that charges a #$35/night pet fee, but even after adding the pet fee, the total charge was about $10 a night cheaper/night at the other place. Each room here includes a 2-burner cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher, so if that's what you're looking for, it's worth the extra price. We just sleep there, so we're looking for the best price, and this wasn't it. Both hotels were about the same. The room was fine; one lightbulb was burned out. I took it to the front desk, who said maintenance would replace it in the morning? There was no ice bucket in the room. Small things, but it is what it is.

Stayed 4 nights

I don’t like writing negative reviews but felt my experience needed to be shared. I booked 4 nights through hotels.com at this candlewood suites for a conference. My fault I didn’t really research it better. The front office staff was incredible helpful and I appreciate them trying. This hotel is tired and things are worn out. It’s also very secluded and people are staying there long term so it didn’t feel totally safe. The back door not far from my room was being propped open to allow people access without a key. I removed the rock twice and closed the door only to see it open later. This after I’d already killed two small roaches in my room. The staff understood my concern and moved me to another room away from the door issue. The second room smelled faintly of vape smoke and the fire sensors had been disabled and were lying on the table. There was water condensation collecting on the ceiling in my bathroom which dripped on my head while I got ready for a banquet. The ice maker in the room refrigerator was broken. They had to turn the water off during the day for a “water emergency” on the 1st floor. After one night I checked out. I tried to get moved to a sister property but booking through hotels.com made that impossible. The hotel refused to give me any money back for the 3 nights I didn’t stay and hotels.com gave me a $50 credit. Aside from the nice bed linens (that you find at their nicer sister hotels) and the front office staff, I can’t say too many positive thing
