For what you pay at a 4 star hotel you get very limited amenities and no pool. The staff is great and the hotel is clean but I have stayed at 5 star hotels that cost less with more amenities so I do not feel this was a good deal.

The garage was full but they didn’t put up a sign. I was able to get a spot but my friend that was with me spent 45 minutes circling until someone left because they charge $35 to leave. That all being said, I got my bill and they charged me for valet parking but I was in the garage. So now I need to call the hotel and get it corrected. They definitely didn’t plan for the parking situation.

Property under construction which was not mentioned when booking. Bar in lobby closed. Parking systems down. getting in and out key didn’t work. Overcharged us for parking. Still waiting for a refund after multiple attempts. FYI, parking is almost $60 a day for guests. Crazy! 3 of the days we stayed men were putting decals in windows and going up and down while we’re in our room. Standing in towel while man is looking in on scaffolding. Starbucks closed way too early in the hotel. No room service. Not at all what I expect from a JW and the price!!!

Simply the best hotel I have stayed at for Gencon. I have been to 15+ Gencons and have always wanted to stay at the JW Marriot. It did not disappoint. Rooms were extremely clean, roomy and comfortable. Open gaming was downstairs and convention 5 minute walk. If the JW Marriott had a pool, it would be the best hotel I have ever stayed in period. It still ranks top three. I would definitely stay here again.

$52 to park!!!!!! Absolutely nothing special about this place that you can’t get cheaper somewhere else. Same sandpaper-like towels, same oily bath products, etc. The reason for the 1-star review is for price. $300 rooms AND…get this…$52 to park!!! Outrageous! For what this place offers you can definitely find someplace cheaper with free parking. What a way to treat your guests. Greed at its finest.

Room was not clean at all and the hotel would not move rooms! Pillows were filthy, bedding looked like blood stains! Spoke with management and they refused a refund. I wouldn’t spend my money here at all

Beautiful hotel! Very clean! Super friendly and helpful staff! The bed were cozy and extremely comfortable! The room was gorgeous. The views were amazing! Next to Victory Field, the amphitheater, Indianapolis Museum and the Indianapolis Zoo. The Children’s Museum was a short 10-12 minute drive.

The hotel is in a great location & is clean. The bathrooms/ shower was really nice. I was torn between 3 & 4 stars bc there were some issues. One is that when we arrived before 4pm we were told the self park was already full, so we had to do valet. I know it was a busy weekend, but ive never had that happen before. I didnt expect the room to be soubd proof, but it was SO loud. Of course, we could hear the outside noise bc of location, but there were several loud parties going on all night long. Im pretty chill usually, but these were incredibly loud & never stopped. The beds werent very comfortable. The room was $358/ night, so I did expect better. Someghing they couldnt help, but people should plan for is long waits for the elevators.. it reminded me of Vegas & could take 10-15 minutes.

Very nice hotel clean and professional staff, stayed in room 3120 ac took hours to cool the room down, bed was alright wasn’t really impressed stayed in cheaper hotels with a lot comfier beds and pillows wasn’t that good no support to them, overall nice hotel just for the price wasn’t impressed with the bed and pillows.

The hotel is amazing. Rooms were nice and had an excellent view of the city. The rooms were nice and the hotel staff was very accommodating with our red-eye check in and the request to have our rooms in the same hall. The building is impressive and unique and is centrally located around many of the attractions in Indianapolis. Only thing that would’ve made the stay better is if the room came with a microwave but everything they did have or offer was excellent. All-in-all, the hotel is a must stay in the city of Indianapolis.

The view from our room on the 31st floor was breathtaking. It was walking distance to Lucas Oil, Center circle mall and many other downtown attractions. Breakfast choices were better than other hotels we've stayed at. We'll definitely be on our list to stay at during future Indy visits.

I was a bit surprised not to have free WIFI without joining a Marriott rewards offer. Also the cable was super slow to react when changing the channel. The checkin was flawless, the Valet grabbed our car and helped with bags. Room was great with Bruce bed and large TV.I would absolutely stay there again.

Only I can say The hotel gym was good and spacious however the room was very noisy from the near rooms same floor and above as it seems is not sound proof I can hear the shower next room even noice from the street side police ambulance people though it was 20 th floor

The service and room were amazing. The staff was courteous and responsive to our needs/questions. The room was clean and felt crisp. The only problem was the valet. There was an insanely amount of people there our weekend. They need to use a texting service to request your car and to be notified once its there. We waited about 40 minutes for our vehicle.

This hotel inadvertently gave another guest key card access to our room, and that person entered our hotel room unexpectedly. It was very traumatic for both my boyfriend and me, as it was late in the evening and we were in a comprising position at the time the other guest entered the room with the key card. We reported to the hotel manager immediately. I also sent a message to Marriott on their website but have not received a response. Very disappointing because this is a beautiful hotel and has been one of my favorites; however, such mismanagement that leads to a privacy breach is absolutely unacceptable.

Upon check-in around 7:30pm, I was told they had given my room away and I no longer had a room. Hotel staff said they were overbooked and apologized but I was angry since I’d had this reservation set for many months. They gave me a hospitality room which is like a conference room with a pullout couch. Not enough space for 3 adults to sleep, so my husband slept on the floor! Ridiculous, and I paid full price. Staff said she’d give me a credit of points as reimbursement but the points never showed up on my account. I’ve called the hotel multiple times to speak with the manager and no one has called me back, been dealing with this for almost a month. So now I’ll have to contact Marriott corporate office. Wasting my time. The hotel is beautiful, just wish they would have had my room ready as promised. No one should sleep on the floor and pay full price.

Best hotel view in the city, with easy access to any amenity that you might need. Service is fast and thoughtful, rooms were spotless. Concierge was kind and quick to answer every question. Nowhere we'd rather stay when we visit Indy.

The JW Marriott has access to a covered walkway to the Lucas oil Stadium, and it is across the street from the baseball diamond. It is easy to walk to downtown restaurants. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The restaurant and bar are overcrowded and under-staffed, but the servers were nevertheless friendly and appeared stress-free. The valet service is very prompt and the people at the front desk are wonderful.

Stayed here for a concert at Lucas Oil Stadium. Convenient to walk to restaurant for dinner and to get to concert. Also very convenient for anything at convention center. Long line at arrival, but valets guys were working hard to keep things moving. Friendly staff. Food options at hotel were just mediocre, but walkable to other options.
