Stayed 1 night

We chose this hotel because we were travelling for a wedding. Although the hotel itself was great, a couple of things let it down. Before our stay, I called several times to ask about an early check-in and was told we would need to check on the day. When we arrived early, despite the hotel knowing our arrival time, we were told that no rooms were available for early check-in. While this wasn't the end of the world, when we asked if there was somewhere we could get changed before the wedding, we were directed to the disabled toilet. That wasn't an ideal experience when trying to get ready for such an important event. Once we eventually checked in, the air conditioning in our room wasn't very effective, so the room became extremely hot. We were also told that our stored luggage would be taken up to our room, but this never happened. Despite these issues, we had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were generally friendly. We would stay here again, but hope these areas can be improved.

Obviously it’s a great hotel but the staff went above and beyond. From the night receptionist when we pulled in on Friday night after a nightmare 7 hour drive, to the manager (I believe…) who rewarded our toddler’s politeness with a bubble blower toy, we couldn’t have had a more wonderful stay. We will absolutely be back, and soon!

The staff, hotel, food and proximity to Cheltenham were excellent Only drawback was that hot water kept coming through the cold tap.

Booked a room on the ground floor for my elderly parents - was given an open plan room with bathroom in the room - high bath and glass door shower - no privacy - supposed to be for elderely or diabled - bath was so high they could not get in - individually! We had a first floor room and the bathroom design was terrible - no space to put toilet bags or things - batch very high and slipped several times getting in and out as plug in centre so using the shower blocked the plug! not great - wont stay again.
