After unclear directions of finding this hotel, we discovered that this property is currently under construction, was not told this before booking. My family, which included 3 children, an infant, and I got stuck in the elevator. It was a horrific and traumatizing experience for not only myself, but now the children as well! It made a loud noise and fell from the third floor, to the first. We attempted to call the front desk from a cell phone, no answer. We also clicked the emergency button on the elevator with no answer. This resulted in us having to call 911 and the fire department was on their way. After almost 10 minutes, the elevator decided to randomly open. The worker from the front desk didn’t care. He simply advised us that he “was doing rounds” at the time of the incident and “it was working when he used it earlier.” This is extremely unprofessional and dangerous!!! This is not ok!!!

There wasn’t enough parking so to the contractors or construction workers vehicles double parked everywhere thru out the premises and it was raining and couldn’t access a door to enter do to a low battery malfunction on the card reader right where we parked so had to walk around getting soaked in rain to enter thru main entrance

Great staff and clean. Love that completely renovating the place. We had a new room and it was nice. The only thing was a bummer was the new fridge made a noise and the pool was dirty and not open.

We stayed because of Hurrican Beryl and losing power for four days. It's currently under construction to renovate the entrance, check-in, kitchen, and dining area so it was a bit chaotic, but only in the front. The rooms were perfect with a full kitchen, the large refrigerator was a blessing as we were able to save most of thr food from our house. The best part of this hotel is definitely the staff. Friendly and the most helpful staff, I really appreciated their compassion and consideration. Definitely recommend, especially based on the awesome staff!

I was a little disappointed to find this hotel had some remodeling underway and the pool was out of service. Other than that and breakfast being pretty bad the room was very nice and clean which is what really matters.

The Staff was friendly but unfortunately the room we had was not cleaned well it smelled like urine we reported to staff and was told the room had been unoccupied for some time also there was a rust smell coming from the ac unit upon inspection the unit had rust on the bottom and the top of the unit

This was by far the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. As soon as I walked into the hallway, I could smell how clean it was. Although my room was in the first floor, it was extremely quiet. My room included two big bedrooms and two bathrooms. It also had a stove and full size refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable. It has been the best hotel stay ever!

Booking and checking in were a breeze. It's very clean inside however it seems a little outdated which is fine. I would definitely book here again. Front desk staff was amazing from the time I called and spoke with her on the phone til arriving and checking in. She was beyond knowledgeable and so professional, her customer service skills are top tier! She even offered a water and called the room and asked if we needed anything else. I'm didn't catch her name but she's a sweet beautiful African American woman. Thank you so much to this wonderful woman for making checking in a breeze!

Very clean, helpful staff! Road construction to the hotel was a MESS, no fault of the hotel. Pillows were AWFUL. Several family members also stayed with the same complaint. Went and bought pillows for second night stay.

We were very pleased with everything about this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and especially loved that the temperature gauge worked! Jera at the front desk was very kind and hospitable. Breakfast was good. We travel quite a bit and often stay at all-suite hotels and this was one of the best.

The two young ladies who worked at reception were very kind, accommodating, and courteous. However, one gentleman, who was there one evening and overnight (who was also working at the HGI two days prior - where we stayed) - was quite rude, did not even greet us when we entered or exited, and in general, was suited for reception/guest interaction. However, because the property was so clean, well-appointed, and conveniently located, I will definitely stay at the Honewood Suites whenever I'm in the area.

This property was very clean, safe, and the staff was very polite. Only negative is there is a little bit of road noise outside due to being close to the interstate (but being close to the interstate is also a big positive). The beds might have been the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever stayed in.

We booked this stay with no idea that the hotel kitchen was under construction. Upon checkin we were given vouchers to walk across the parking lot to the neighboring hotel for our continental breakfast which was extremely inconvenient. The hotel also had no vending machines available to make up for the lack of a dining area.
